Not supported operating system

This is the message I get when I tried to download the driver for my HP Deskjet F2280 on my MAC OS 10.3, the problem is that I can't find another driver for the Mac. Already, I have the printer installed but due to a problem with my MAC, the scanner does not work as the Manager has been removed, so I thought that the best thing to do was to reinstall the driver. can someone help me get my scanner please!

Okay, well, 10.5.8 is a good place to be.

First of all, let's uninstall all HP on your Mac software:

Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
Click on continue
Highlight your device in the left pane
Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Cmd keys on the keyboard at the same time as you click on uninstall< this="" is="" the="" scrubber="" option,="" there="" is="" no="" button="" labeled="">
There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
Click on continue and let it finish

Restart your Mac

Now reset the printing system:

-Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
-Right (control) click inside the box that lists your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!

Finally, download the latest version of the software for your printer from the "Support & drivers" link at the top of this page.

  • This PC is not supported by system recovery disks

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion Ultimate d4999t (model KC836AV #ABA) that came pre-loaded with Windows Vista. Last week, the hard drive and the power supply failed. The place that I got it replaced the hard drive and power. They couldn't get the restore disks to work, so they have cloned the operating system (Windows Vista service pack 2) on the failed hard drive. Windows, as cloned, has none of the HP software or the delivered system pre-loaded with tools.

The error message that appears when I try to use the recovery disks is: "this PC is not supported by the system recovery discs. You can retrieve this system with these discs. »

How can I get these restore disks (Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 build 82NAv3PcA2) to work on my system?

    Thank you!!!

Unknown reason for the recovery not working disc.  Maybe some of you can help, but most of the people complaining about all "supplementary programmes" instead of trying them.  If there is some some programs that are necessary or desired, perhaps, they can always be added, if the names are known.  CV provided downloads for some. not all of this.

BTW: technically the old hard drive (your own) was not cloned.  If she had been cloned, it would be exactly like the old disk, including all HP programs.  My guess is that they have reinstalled the operating system as a stand-alone Vista version.

  • Not found operating system - Windows 7 after Windows Update

    Hi all

My Dell Studio 1737 was upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 Ultimate in November last year. I have no problems apart from a few minor problems with the DVD player. Last night, ran Windows update and 4 updates before you shut down correctly installed. This morning, I rebooted and the message - operating system not found. I can't access the hard drives or DVD to try a reinstall. By pressing the F8 function key just the fact of restart. Any ideas on how to recover the system would be greatly received.

    Thank you
    Kevin

    KevinHB,
Are you able to start on the CMOS screen (Dell)?  I think you press F2 during the Dell splash screen.  If you are able to boot to CMOS it recognize your HD?  You have a Windows 7 DVD?  If so check that the DVD player is set as the first boot device, and then try to boot from it.
If you are not able to access CMOS or the DVD is set as the first boot device and won't start him, then you need to contact Dell, because it can be a hardware\BIOS problem.
