• Please help - what software would be useful? (im not sure in the right category here)

  Hi guys,.

  I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction about what follows. I am a student in abrasive particles and I several stills SEM of 10 to 120 Micron particles. I'm looking for a software that will allow me to easily calculate the various properties related to the particle, like size, geometry, space ect - or anything really that could be useful for me to compare one particle with another.

  (1) is there some features that may be useful to know when it comes to comparing the abrasive particles?

  (2) is it simple software available that would be suitable (I recommended a program called SIGMAscan but it may seem too much of an investment to about $900 for what I need to).

When I first load iMovie, they do, but then after that I look at some of my video in the timeline panel, right screen seems to be stuck on this and will play not the clips of "My Media", although I can hear the audio.
