Not work - HL-DT-ST CDRW/DVD GCC4244 ATA Device
I have a Latitude D820 with a HL-DT-ST CDRW/DVD GCC4244 ATA Device. The laptop has been updated to Vista XP since more than a year, but the unit has just stopped working a few days ago. There is no icon for it under 'my computer '. He turns the drive for a second when I put in a new drive and then does nothing.
A message in the device properties window says "Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) "when I click on the button"Check for Solutions", a window opens that says"Check for solutions"and then nothing happens.
If I try to update the driver software I get a message saying "the best driver for your device is already installed."
I also tried to uninstall the driver software. Then I removed the unit and succeeded him, which prompted the computer to install the software driver. I get a message saying "software device driver is not properly installed."
Can anyone help me get this thing working again?

My audio does not work. It worked before I re-install Windows XP. What should I do? I'm supposed to have an audio installation disc? I'm new on the technical aspect of computers, so I know only the basics?
Using the Device Manager is a good way to get the drivers, but if you do a clean install on a computer or laptop, you must download the supplied drivers initially installed on the computer or laptop to the manufacturer. that is, if you have a Dell, then go to the Dell website.
the site Web of HP/Compaq
the Site of Asus
Acer site
Alienware website (Now owned by Dell)
eMachines Web site
IBM Web site
Sony Web site
Toshiba Web siteHave I no all the em? Anyway, if you have a driver supplied with the computer disc, use this cuz he'll have original manufacturer drivers and the software that you get on the website anyway.
Also, if it's a Dell, you would like to have a look and print their Instructions on how to install the drivers, Dell cuz drivers must be installed in a specific order.
Good luck. -

I had a problem with a screen saver program that has run before on this machine.
I had to reinstall windows 7 recently and he has not worked since.
I am running Windows 7 64-bit, the monitor is a Dell 2310 ST s/n is CN-OU217R-72872-O2B-OUJS.
My PC is a Dell Studio MT Pentium Dual Core E5400 VT (Description of the invoice)The error I get is "unable to find any compatible Direct 3d devices.
The monitor driver is Dell_ST2310_Analog and I checked that there are no new versions.
There are 3 drivers listed under sound, video and game controllers:
1 Intel(r) High Definition Audio HDMI
2. Realtek High Definition Audio
3. Audio USB deviceI did a scan for #3 and it updated to a Webcam Pro 9000, which is a device that I have attached.
The other 2 drivers are the latest from the scan.It seems that is missing a driver, or I need to change some settings, but I don't know who. Wonder if you could help me.
Well, you would believe that I received an update from Microsoft Sunday night late and this morning everything works very well.
Ignore the problem.

FLV files do not work on the creation of dvd
Cannot watch or burn flv files
Hi John,.
Welcome to the Microsoft community.
As I see that you are unable to burn or watch FLV files in Windows DVD maker. FLV files are supported in Windows DVD maker. where you are facing trouble with this in Windows DVD maker.
I suggest you to convert the file to the following supported file format and check.
".asf", ".avi", ".dvr-ms", ".m1v", ".mp2", ".mp2v", ".mpe", ".mpeg", ".mpg", ".mpv2", '.wm' and '.wmv '.
You can use your favorite search engine to find a suitable software which helps you convert the file.
NOTE: using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

Sound does not work after the creation of DVD
When I saw my movie in still the audio works but after that I have export to DVD, it no longer works. Any ideas?
Thank you
Chris
Well, you've done most of the things I would say. This individual WAV would be high on my list.
This leaves wondering what brand of blank media are you burning at?
Also, as a test, you can burn the file and then play this folder with DVD playback software? How does it work?
One last thought, your audio is connected to your set-top player, or whatever it is you are testing on. Please don't laugh, as has happened at least two other posters over the years.
Good luck

Satellite L300D-11V - DVD player does not work
Hello
I am a Satellite L300D-11V and the driver on the CD does not work. I think is not the right driver and an update of Windows could have messed up.
Anyone know where I can download the correct driver for the DVD player for Vista? Or solve this problem?Thank you
Mounira.
Hello!
I put t understand why you need a CD/DVD driver or tell you the driver does not work.
The CD/DVD driver for the reader is part of Windows. You don't need one and should not install a new or something else. When you have problems with the drive, it s not the driver, it s another issue.
Now have yellow marks in the Device Manager and can use the drive? On the right, a right click on the drive and select uninstall. Restart your laptop, and the driver should be installed automatically.
Good bye

Burning DVDs in DVD player not working not
We have problems with burning DVDs from our PC (slideshow photos and music). It downloads very well and gives us a confirmation that he copied the disk correctly (we can see in our PC) However when trying to see it from a DVD player does not work. We used a DVD-R disc. We have windows XP/Windows Movie Maker. We used these DVD-R discs for other records from a digital recorder and they worked very well in our DVD player.
