• I just download the latest Java Version 7 update 25 update build 1.7.0_25 - b16 and all hell broke loose with FF, nothing, but nothing works.

  Hi, Shada, this can happen if you include additional installers to your installer for example DAQmx. When you do this the installation program must include other files like MAX (Measuremente and Automation Explorer). Probably when you installed Vision Builder he updated MAX, so when your Installer try to understand MAX, his request the source where it was installed in your computer in this case Vision Builder.

  Here you can cache information so it is not asked once again, or you can download a version more recent fo DAQmx, then it will update MAX and change the dependecy.

• Build works, Run does nothing

  I'm completely new to programming for blackberry-stuff. I have installed the SDK, Simulator, VMWare, got the virtual machine works with the Simulator. I got the IP address and gave it to my project (for example). I can build the app/example. Everything seems to work properly.

  But when I click with the right button on one of the binaries (in 'binary' directory) and "Run as" > "Blackberry the Application C/C++" OR "Dialogue of Application Blackberry on C/C++", it does nothing. Not even an error.

  What I am doing wrong? Someone has an idea?

  Ahhh... it works now! I deleted my project as a whole and tried again, and it worked... took me 3 hours :-).

  DPS App Builder no longer works on Mac OS X 10.6.8. Mac OS X 10.7 or later version is required.

• Flex Builder 4.5 Premium license does not not for automation - nothing else to try?

  So I get the message when I try to record/perform a test as the "license does not exist.  Replays are only allowed with the limited trial version. "I have a license key valid for Flash Builder 4.5 premium edition.  I read many forums on this subject, but none of them helped me.  I compile my project using Flash Builder 4.5, 4.5, and a script Ant calling mxmlc.  I changed my flex - config.xml to include 'flexbuilder4', 'flexbuilder45' and my serial number given with or without hyphens (and other combinations).  I do not have a license.properties file.  I don't know what I can do.  I already reinstalled Flash Builder 4.5.  I'm now trying Flash Builder 6 with the same results.

  DaVinci coder, I would recommend you report your request in the forum installation and activation of Flash Builder.

  I tried the manual transfer and automatic synchronization of music library, but both ways, it would be just complete all four steps very fast and no songs would actually moved on my device. I tried to turn on and off, turning the cable 8 different ways, update of iTunes (was actually the latest version), but nothing really worked.

  So if anyone has ANY idea what to try next, even if it's the strangest thing that the internet has seen, please write, it would be much appreciated.

• Does not update Java 8 77 03 update build

  (I apologize if I posted in the wrong forum - I wasn't sure where to post).

  I tried to update my 77 8 Java to Java 03 updated version with no luck.  Does anyone else have this problem?  If so, how to solve it?

  The update seems to download successfully, but will not be installed.  On-screen instructions tell me to double click the icon to complete the installation, what I'm doing.  Then, a box appears that says that Java tries to install a program of assistance to complete the installation and it asks me to leave that by typing my password.  I type my password, click OK and then nothing happens.  No update, nothing.  When I click on the Java icon in the system preferences to check what version I have, it always says that I have Java 8 73 update and I need to upgrade to the version latest (Java 8 update 77 build 03.)  I don't know how to solve this problem or what I'm doing wrong.

• Problem with Web Builder and MySQL connection

  I created a web service VI (see picture attached) to connect my Web Builder application with a MySQL database. The problem is that I get nothing on my exit signs during the call to the web service VI.

  Some tests I've done:

  (1) this web service VI works perfectly (I mean indicators 'value', 'status' and 'data_hora' give the desired result) when the VI run directly through LabVIEW. MySQL connection and my VI are OK...

  (2) I know my web service VI was successfully built and deployed because the indicators give me some value if I sign something for them other than my SQL output

  (for example: if I put a string constant "Hello" on indicator "valor" I get "Hello" when calling the web service VI)

  I suppose that the database connectivity kit is not supported when a VI is integrated with a web service VI. In my case, kit screws are inside the subVIs 'start', 'exec 2d' and 'stop' showed in the picture as an attachment.

  Any idea?

  It was just a MySQL data source problem: I just had to add my info DB through C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe.

• Build table 2D-the only condition of case string

  Hello

  I'm having a problem when I am trying to build a 2D of the elements of the string table. Here's basically what I'm doing:

  I'm loading the tables in different text files (Session_001.txt, Session_002.txt, etc.) and concatenate into 1 big table.

  On each line of text Session files, there is the session number, various characteristics of hockey sticks, and then a couple results.

  I want to be able to select the various features and then display the corresponding results. Currently, I'm working on the selection of the Session, and when I get this working, the rest would be similar (I guess).

  The problem I have is that when I select the sessions that I want, the Array3 resulting (with all data) is filled with empty lines (table 1 d of the empty elements). I had the same problem when display a table 1 d (table 2) coming to show what Sessions had been selected, but I managed to fix that by searching for and deleting empty elements.

  The problem lies within the structure of matter I. I compare all the elements in the first column of my huge 2D array with each number of the selected Session, and when it is 'true', that I keep the current line to go to table 3. If it is "false", nothing should happen (I have a registry change through my case 'false', but a line of empty strings is added to the table.

  What Miss me?

  I know this probably sounds very confusing, so I join you the only VI and a zip containing the VI and my text files.

  Off topic (Finally, still on the topic of my VI), it will be possible to assign a different color for each type of stick (MX3, APX3) or the different type of marker for different types of shots (WS, SS), etc., when I want to display the results on the same graph?   With respect to the conditional tunnel, I n, t really know to use it yet, but I found the problem with my registry to offset. I created a 2D array empty outside the two loops and added a registry to offset. I then build I tried to rely on another thread.

• C in XCODE build problems with VISAS / NOR

  I'm developing a C program to connect with my oscilloscope Tektronix. I inherited this project from a friend (who is currently in the secret), so I can't talk to him on this subject.

  On my system: I'm running OS X 10.8.4, development in XCODE 4.6.3. Initially, I had problems with NI-VISA 5.3, and they are repeated when I upgraded to 5.4 (I thought the upgrade would solve the problem).

  It's also a position of the cross. I posted on the forum of developers to Apple without success (https://discussions.apple.com/message/22681139#22681139). If my problem is solved it there first, I'll post the solution here as well. I don't take sides.

  In fact, my problem is that my program will not be built because of a linker issue. I use the functions of the NI-VISA 5.4 for OS package X 10.8. However, the linker can't find the correct functions for my system:

  This is all pretty basic VISA functions. I struggled in just, including the appropriate header file

  did not work. When I went to the detailed shape, it worked:

  However, then the problem began to occur that I have now - links in the object editor cannot find the code for the functions of the VISA. • 1 error in writing on a text - installer with Application Builder file

  I wrote an installer using the Application Builder to install the runtime engine that allows any computer without LabVIEW to run an .exe program. Setup runs and installs engine race and then as a .exe VI. When it is done installing, the .exe VI opens automatically.

  An error appears when the .exe opens and says "1 error in writing to a text file". If the user clicks on the error that it can run the program without problem, it converts file formats in a file .lvm. Automatically, it generates a new file name and saves the file in the same directory, but with a different name.

  Why did it only happen when opening first upward? The program tries to run when it automatically opens? Is there a file path residual left in the program that trys to run first, before that the user put his own file path in the program?

  I am semi new to labVIEW (a few months) and that nothing shows that would create this error at the beginning of the program.
