Number of incoming call

Hello

I know I can check what number user name:

Phone.getActiveCall () .getDisplayPhoneNumber ();

but is it possible to programmatically control what number is calling to me? before I answer?

It can be done:

(PhoneCallLog)

PhoneLogs.getInstance () .callAt (_numberOfCalls-1,

PhoneLogs.FOLDER_MISSED_CALLS);

because of that I can verify after it is added to an example by journal-so, when I finished my call. but I want to check the number when he calls to me, before any action (like to connect/disconnect/failure) happens...

is this possible?

Hi misty83,

It is possible to get the incoming number. First of all implement the interface "PhoneListener" then add PhoneListener. Just add the following two statements in the callIncoming method.

public void callIncoming(int callId) {
PhoneCall call =  Phone.getCall(callId);
System.out.println("number is :"+call.getDisplayPhoneNumber());
}

    Yes! I read a lot about these subject through this forum, but no solution so far.

    We are trying to retrieve the number of incoming phone currently but ((callId) Phone.getCall or Phone.getActiveCall) are return null, so I'm not able to recover the number, getDisplayPhoneNumber().

    I would say to start own thread, it may need to wait a little time, but generally a callincoming should already have a call in progress.

  • Prioritize incoming calls

    I use a CSQ for a certain number of incoming call numbers. Does anyone know how to prioritize the calls so that if they come from a different number, it may take priority over existing calls in the queue?

    Thanks for any help.

    You can use the step set the priority (in IPCCX Enhanced and Premium) to change the priority by default of a call; all calls have a default priority of "1". You can set priorities based on the called numbers and calls, depending on what you need to achieve.

    i.e. I will receive calls on my Skype number as a landline phone. It will be free or I have to pay an additional per minute charges while on this line? I'm not going to make outgoing calls at all on my Skype number. Just received.

    Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

    It could be one of the three solutions... Try these:

    1. make sure that you set your own country code to the Phone Dialer screen > Options > smart dialing.
    Set your country code in this format: "+ xx" where xx = country code. Some countries have two or three-digit country Codes. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
    * In the United States, the value of this country as '+ 1' Code and place your local area code in the appropriate box (this normally the default setting in a new BB).

    2. in the same place, change the length of National number for the number of digits corresponding to your country (since some countries have less than 10 as that set by default in the BB). Check out the total numbers, less country code. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
    * For example, some countries have a total number to 8 (more than 3 for the country code). You must enter '8 '.

    3. you probably have "Content Protection" located on your address book.
    Look at the Options > Security > General settings. Scroll down to the content Protection > include addresses = no

  • Transformation of the party calls for different incoming calls whose previous number value (0)

    Community salvation.

    If you see my other discussions created the last days, I managed to configure some functions on our 6.2.1 CallManager. that we really needed.

    But there is a problem and I would like to ask you once again.

    Our internal Cisco phones have 3-digit extensions, from 100 to 999. We had the problem one 0 prerequisite not indicated for missed calls, which I fixed in a translation model that adds two '00' to any incoming call. For outgoing calls, one is removed by the CallManager (PreDot), so called work very well.

    BUT: the translation model that adds the two 00 only works 100% with 10 digits of the external numbers. For example: If a mobile with 0170555yyyy calls an internal number, it is translated to 00170555yyyyy (without translation, it is only 170555yyyyy) and recall works very well. If instead a mobile with 0170555yyyyyzz calls an internal number, it is translated to 00555yyyyyzz. The reason that seems logical: the translation has the value "00xxxxxxxxxx". So it works only with external 10-digit numbers.

    What should I do to make it work with ANY external number? So who calls internal phone - gets two leading '0' being the tracking number by the rest of the caller id?

    Can be simple - but I do not see the answer. :-(

    Thank you. Kind regards.

    Oh, I see what's wrong. You don't need any call mask part xform. Leave the field blank and just add the prefix...

  • ID (CLI of the incoming caller SPA-3102) truncates the last digit when the telephone number is longer.

    Hi team

    Depending on the subject, when the number of the caller is Longer (i.e. International call with Country code etc.) as 11 digits, it truncates the last digit of the incoming phone number. See picture attached. Full number is 60126140235, but he loses the last digit is 5. Any suggestions?

    Also, there are comma (,) before the number that consumes valuable space. How elimiante that?

     FXO:Start CNDD fxo cnddwrap_feed parse ok 0060126140 status=2 -- Caller ID: -- Name = (null) -- Remote Number = 0060126140 -- Dialable Number = (null) -- No Number Reason = (null) -- No Name Reason = (null) -- Message Waiting = (null) -- Date and Time = 07/22 18:06 FXO:CNDD name=, number=0060126140 FXO:Stop CNDD FXO:CNDD Name= Phone=0060126140

    According to the newspaper that you have provided, the number of callers number claimed 0060126140.

    Length maximum support of the number in the E.164 format is 12 digits, including the country code. SPA don't know any used number format, so it has no reason to truncate 10-digit - I guess that he supported at LEAST 12 E.164 numbers.

    As the number seems to be broken on the side operators (00 superfluous as prefix, truncated to 10 digits) there's nothing you can to with him on the side SPA. We cannot guess figures sent by the operator to you...

    I can explain what is happening even on the side of the operators (although I'm only guessing) - I guess that we are talking of two digit country code country, so 10 digits is the maximum length of the national number. It seems your operator to consider the number national number and truncate them to 10 numbers on their side.

  • Can block incoming calls from a number?

    We used the blocking calls in the Manager of administration to block some outgoing calls - 900 numbers, 976, etc.. I guess it works. The question I have is if it this or something else can be used to block INBOUND calls. For example, we received, shall we say, a vulgar call. We do want to hear from the appellant in the future. I tried to add my number to test, but I can go very well.
    Based on the documentation, it is not clear to me that it does not block incoming calls.
    Enter a phone number or a model block. For example, to block all calls to the
    858-410-1600 number, enter the number as indicated. It blocks only calls
    place to the specific number is entered.
    Thus, this part specifically calls 'to' this number will be blocked. No mention of calls from this number.
    But then, you can check the box "Outgoing call" to block outgoing calls...
    Check this box to prevent the agents or the Call Center On Demand
    system of automatic reminder to place calls to numbers corresponding to the model
    you have specified. Clear this check box to allow outgoing calls to the numbers corresponding to the
    the model.
    So, why bother with the call-out if adding box it blocks calls to a number (or model) in the first place?
    But, to my immediate problem - then - I block incoming calls?

    To block an incoming call, follow these steps:

    1. create a routing pattern prefix is the number you want to block. One of them will be created for each number block unless you use the AFN or NXX and a wildcard.
    2. create a prefix in the routing group that includes the Microsoft Routing prefix model you just created.
    3. create a new project (or campaign) Menu.
    a. place the default link to disconnect. (You can play an audio first if you wish).
    4. create a new project.
    a. allow a phone project, but do not assign a DNIS.
    b. route all calls to this project from the project Menu has created...
    5 blocking occurs at the level of the project. If the number to be blocked for more than 1 DNIS, make the following change to each of the projects.
    a. open the project in question, and then click the phone tab.
    b. click the routing of Prefix tab and activate the prefix routing.
    c. Select the prefix for the created routing group and that it points to the new project.

    Alternatively, you can make the call blocking since in a campaign, but this requires that each time a new number must be blocked or unblocked, we need to make the change. By using the above steps, the client can add/remove numbers.

  • New update of Skype - no incoming calls more - Version 4.10.0.332 (4.10.332)

    Hello, SKYPE,.

    Since you provided the new version of Skype for IOS, incoming calls stopped working. I've tried everything. I talked to two of my friends and they know exactly the same problem. I also talked to an agent of very naughty Skype chatting. This is the culmination of the measures already taken:

    1 Delete SKYPE and reinstalled

    2. check that we have the latest version of IOS and SKYPE

    3. under Notifications, made sure everything is turned on

    4. under settings, then on SKYPE, made sure sign is automatically turned on and switch to offline mode is set to 'NEVER '.

    5. also ensured that a device is connected with AN account

    6. it doesn't matter if you call the SKYPE NUMBER or SKYPE to SKYPE, the call does not work

    7 missed calls / messages appears later in SKYPE when you open the SKYPE application

    8. complete reset of the network settings Device IOS

    9. on my iPad, I actually completely deleted and reset the whole device to the factory settings and deleted everything out of it. Reinstalled only SKYPE, but the same behavior. Does not work.

    Incoming calls work on my Mac Book and my PC.

    Also, if you keep the 'in focus' app on your device IOS, which means that you make sure that your screen is not locked or you do not use e-mail, etc., then the incoming calls will work on SKYPE.

    SKYPE: You need to fix this ASAP. It is terrible user experience. I have a real number of SKYPE that I use regularly. My whole family uses SKYPE with each person having their own SKYPE number. Now, we can no longer talk to each other.

    By the way I know that you're going to ask the question, so here's my version of IOS: 6.1.3

    SKYPE: PLEASE CORRECT THIS IMMEDIATELY, OR BE A WAY FOR THE ENTIRE UNITED STATES, BACK TO THE OLD VERSION OF SKYPE.
