  I have a Satellite P200 laptop for over 2 years, but since yesterday I did a clean install of Windows7 on the machine.
  But when I start/restart the NUMLOCK is off, but it would be nice to have that 'on '.

  I already searched this topic on the end of the Internet, but does not solve the problem.
  -Boot, and when you log on to push the numlock on it and restart. Didn't work...
  -Research in the BIOS, but could not find where to change. I think that's in it to change...
  -Also find a registry entry to change.

  I tested it on my Satellite P200D and it did not work for me.
  To be honest I don't see as so important because one key click you can turn on/off pad.

  Try this; To activate the digital LOCK until a user logs on, follow these steps:

  1. run the registry editor.
  2. bring in HKEY_USERS\. Default\Control Panel\Keyboard.
  3. change the value of the InitialKeyboardIndicators from 0 to 2.

  This is for Win7... So let me know if it works for you.

  I have a question where new users connect to a Windows 7 system, and the Num-Lock is activated automatically when they have completed their first login. Is there a registry setting or other settings where I can make sure that Num Lock is disabled by default, once the new users log in for the first time?

  Looks like the default user has a corrupted NTUSER. DAT file, which was originally the Numlock switch after the first time users would connect. The InitialKeyboardIndicators value has been set to 0 in HKEY_USERS, but the NTUSER. DAT in C:\Users\Default is set to 2. So I had to replace the NTUSER. DAT file with one where the value is set to 0. For some reason, the registry value was not properly changing the NTUSER. DAT file.

• HP Envy 15 - numlock?

  I just bought the Hp Envy 15 series and like it so far.  However, I use a mouse called Razer Naga with my laptop, and it has a keypad on the side of the mouse.  However, I can't find any which the envy 15 NumLock key (keep in mind that the Envy 17 has a paved digital actual series about it because it's wider, where as the 15 did not).  The keypad on my mouse will not work correctly without numlock and I need a way to activate numlock - already tried to enter the reg to automatically make its marketing on log-in, but it just resets it back to off when I restart, maybe it's a viable solution and I did wrong; However, for now, there doesn't seem to be a solution.

  I also noticed a few other laptops have a numlock, however to use, you use a combo for example Fn + f11 (which on the Hp Envy 15, the Association put the volume on mute).

  So, I'm wondering first if there is a numlock physically on my keyboard?  If not, then a second question, for me, is: is there a way to configure my laptop to make numlock on (ofpreference always)?

  Moreover, I have already contacted the support of society of mouse, Razer, on a solution - so havn't been much progress there still.

  I found that the number lock can be activated on most systems using the virtual keyboard then go to the options, and you should see a checkbox to activate the numeric keypad.

  I have a simple problem bu I paint a significant void.

  I need NumLock be turned off on logon and stay offshore for a user to view Visual that uses a program that gets confussed if NUMLOCK is enabled (Windows 7 on a domain).

  BIOS setting: NumLock is turned off at startup

  Registry settings: I changed every single parameter "initialkeyboardindicators" to 0. And I mean alone.

  When the PC comes on, NumLock is set to OFF, user opens a session in NumLock is set to OFF, NumLock locks user account gets to market in itself, user unlocks account and either it will turn off by itself or just stay ON.

  I have no idea why her behave this way, I know that Windows 7 will remember if it's ON or OFF when the user logs off then when he logs back in it will be the same. Is there a way to get around this, so even if its ON when the user disconnects, it remains OFF the next time they reconnect?

  This will happen when different keyboards are installed. Try to use a password like 123456 is insensitive to the different schemes. CapsLock or NumLock is also a frequent culprit in such cases.

  I would like to know if anyone else has this problem?

  After update macOS Sierra and Server 5.2, I get no message Postfix in /var/log/mail.log (aka SMTP Log).  I've never had a problem to see messages from postfix here before.  I defining all postfix mail log "info".

  I do not process messages greylisting Policy logging /var/log/mail.log.  Thus, the file seems to work in general.  But, no tricks postfix.

  Does anyone else have this problem?

  Same here, tried changing in debugging without result. Tried to change with the Terminal using serveradmin settings messaging or (I know you shouldn't do) editing the main.cf, also changed the com.apple.mail in the directory/etc/asl of notices info or debug nada!

  Solved the problem.

  Just delete ~/Library/Caches folder from another account and logged in.

  If you have activated the preferences-> Security-> FileVault system, then you must enter your password initially so that device drivers can decrypt your encrypted drive.  Once the system is running, you must then log into your account.
