  If there is no legacy/secure boot options in the BIOS (I think that yours isn't that) then there is no RAID option. Although it may seem like a 0 2 SSD RAID would be a fantastic thing, your laptop's SATA-II based and you might saturate the SATA bus very quickly, which means that you wouldn't see that a real life everything accelerates faster you will get with a single SSD.

• How to create RAID 5 with 6 disks?

  I'm new to vmware. My machine is currently running ESXi 4.1 but the RAID set up gives me no more disk space I was advice to remake the structure of the disc physically to have all 6 disks in RAID 5 and then reinstall ESXi. I'm doing, but I need a direction how to create RAID 5 with 6 disks. Can someone please help with this?

  Assuming you are using the integrated Smart Array 6i controller it should without a problem. If you can get into the BIOS of conreollers, you can also boot from Smartstart CD and use the ACU (Array Configuration Utility). The ACU has the advantage that you can split the RAID in several logical drives. I usually create a small logical volume (~ 10GB) for the installation of the hypervisor (ESXi) and another large logical volume to the VMFS data store.

  First you must know that the A200 doesn t series support RAID technology!
  Therefore, the RAID-0 is not possible.

  The phone supports 2 hard drives, but you cannot use RAID settings.
  The two hard drives can be used separately and independent of each other

  Yes, I use Windows 7 backup tool and do a system image and a system of disc repair, so you can access the system image.

  I recommend that you use a portable hard drive, and then you can boot from this CD to repair windows for you, select restore backup image option and have your portable hard drive connected when you are recovering.

  Windows will look for the image on your drive hard laptop usb and restore.

  You can keep the image for the new installation, that you just did, or you can keep up to date and create a new image whenever you want.

  Just know that Windows will overwrite any previous system image, you created on this portable hard drive for the PC.

  I suggest you to create the system with different USB repair disc and check if it helps.

  Means all try the methods and check them off below if it helps.

  The problem was definitely Alienrespawn. I was able to create the with Alienrespawn recovery disk and turned off once I was able to create in Windows 7.

• Dragging a rectangle creates a giant rectangle instead of the size I want

  Whenever I try to draw a square/rectangle using the Rectangle tool, I end up creating a GIANT rectangle instead of the size that I want (something more close to 400 x 80 px).

  Here's what I do:

  • create new layer in the Layers panel
  • Select The Rectangle tool
  • Click and hold click to start dragging rectangle > immediately coordinate are something like x :-8800 :-1550 (see pic1)
  • If I release the click now, I find myself dragging a rectangle GIANT (see Note2)
  • now I have to zoom way inorder really far to see the edges of the rectangle and be able to resize

  This only happens when I use the Rectangle tool, not the rounded Rectangle, ellipse, polygon, line, or custom shape tools.

  II found the cause of my problem and now I want to pass the information to all those who encounter this problem on similar computers.

  The computer is a RC210G-old Sony Vaio VGC, which is a strange beast, indeed.

  The computer originally had Windows XP MCE on it and a BIOS that begins with PR94510J.04T.0096

  This computer has a few tricks RAID on the motherboard, and any settings in the BIOS or Windows, empty DVD players are not recognized.  So the solution to my problem is to put a disk used in the drive to DVD - RW and THEN launch the utility to do a system repair disc.  Once the drive appears and I am asked to put a blank disc in the drive, eject the disc used and put in a vacuum before clicking CONTINUE.

  If I followed the above procedure, the disc manufacturing process goes as it is supposed to.

  What brand of DVD that you've already used? These burning questions can be linked to the mediums of poor quality so it s recommended using mediums high quality only. I have pretty good experience with Verbatim and TDK discs and especially with the DVD-R DVD + R. So I would recommend Verbatim DVD-R. With this brand, it was possible to create the mediums of recovery on my laptop. :)
