OBIEE 11 Admintool runs only on 64-bit Windows

Hello

Ive installed OBIEE 11 on Windows 64-bit (Windows 2003 Server). All services (responses, wls console, em) run correctly with the exception of admintool and Catalog Manager. After being started that they don't show up at all (command line disappear after dry without error). Someone encountered this kind of bizarre behavior?
Is it possible to install admintool on separate PC to change RPDs as if it was possible in 10g? Now, it seems to me that you need to install weblogic too...

I appreciate any advice on the above issues.

Just read and it seems you are right. This is absolutely WRONG! Oracle are really difficult with the new installer of shit 11g. Added to my list of complaints 11g:

  • iTunes CD & DVD registry settings works only with 32-bit Windows Vista - Help!

Since the update to iTunes 9.0, everytime I open iTunes, I get the error message:

    Help?

    Hi Behnke

What other burning software CD do you have on the system? I suggest you to remove for this test. And install it again after the test.

Try these methods step by step to help resolve your problem:

Step 1: Uninstall iTunes completely with Windows Installer Cleanup Utility.

Download windows install Cleanup utility and clean all traces of Itunes on your system. Remember that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility does not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall on. Download here.

    1. Save the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility package on your computer

    2. right click on the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and run as administrator

    3. follow you prompt in the installation wizard.

    4. Once completed the installation, click on the Start button.

    5. click on all programs. Click on Windows Installer CleanUp.

    6. click on iTunes (if active list). Click on Remove. Click on OK. Click exit

Step 2: uninstall and reinstall Itunes.

NOTE: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

Step 3: Configure iTunes as the default player on your system.

Step 4: Solve the problem of CD/DVD

To resolve this issue automatically, click the fix this problem link. Click run in the file download dialog box, and then follow the steps in this wizard.

  • Running very slow 64-bit Windows 7

I installed windows 7 on my Pc. plug below

    Processor: Dual Core E8400 2 x 3.0 G
    Memory: 4 GB of Ram (4 x 1 GB 800 mhz DDR2)
Graphics card: GeForce 9500GT SLI 1 GB GDDR2
HARD drive: Maxtor Diamond Max 500 GB

When I open any program whether the Explorer, Media Player etc. My processor climbs to 51% and memory 42 to 43% and the Pc becomes impractical. The flashes of light Hdd 1/2 sec on, 1/2 Sec off (solid) as a warning light!

Itys like that for perhaps 20-30 sec according to the opening of Im app. Once opened, it works fine

Someone can explain why this is happening, do I have to change to 32 bit.

Arrival of the day, I have installed. I checked for malware and viruses. All clear.

    Thank you

    March

    Marshond,
Try a clean boot to see if the performance improves at all, after that, we can begin to refine things still further:

    Clean boot

Test in an environment of clean boot to see if this problem is related to the interference of other programs / services:

    1. start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER. (If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.)

    2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.

    3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.

    4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.

    5. click on OK.

    6. When you are prompted, click on restart.

7 log on to your account.

    ---------------------------------------------------

If the problem does not reappear when your computer is in clean boot mode, a background program probably causes interference.

    ---------------------------------------------------

You can determine which background program is causing the problem by following the steps (start enable half the Services points) in the related article:

How to perform a clean boot procedure to determine if background programs are interfering with a game or a program that you currently use

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/331796

    ---------------------------------------------------

    To restore your Normal startup:

    1. start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER. (If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.)

    2. in the general tab, click Normal startup.

    3. When prompted, click on restart.

  • Running 32-bit only VMWARE Workstation on Windows 7 64 bit?

    Hello.

I have installed VMWARE Workstation 7.1.1 build 282343. When I look in the Task Manager, I see that the process vmware.exe * 32 runs only in 32 bits. The program is installed unter C:\Programs (x 86).

What's wrong? Why it doesn't in 64 bit mode"?

    Thank you

    Michael

    Hello Michael,

The hypervisor operates in 64-bit, the process you are looking at is the UI, not the hypervisor.

Looking for a process called vmware-vmx, it is the process that runs of your virtual machine.

There is not really much to gain for VMware with the 64-bit user interface, the important part is the hypervisor and runs as a 64-bit process.

    Hope this helps,

    Hi josephkirmani,

Currently LabVIEW Communications System Design Suite is not supported on Windows 10-64 bit. You may be able to make it work on your machine, but unfortunately it is not officially supported outside of Windows 7-64 bit.

  • 32 but Vista 64 bit Windows 7

I have an a6200n Pavilion with 4 GB of RAM (half added after purchase) and Vista 32 bit. The internal system reports it is 64-bit capable. Upgrade advisor from Microsoft lists only a 32-bit Windows 7 upgrade path. It's just a bug in the Microsoft Advisor (which wouldn't surprise me) or are there other reasons that I can't move to 64-bit? I intend to make a custom upgrade.

Yes, you should be able to do a clean install of Win7 64-bit.  You have an Athlon 64 X 2 5000 +.  Many members of the forum have used Windows Update to find Win7 drivers for their components, where HP has not provided the.

  • Why my windows 64-bit 8 running only 32-bit programs,

I bought the computer only 5 months with Windows 7 x 64 HP, purchased Windows 8, for the price of offer 2 months ago and I noticed that all my programs run thirty-two versions of the thing,

the reasons why? the copy of windows 8 is also a x 64 bit pro with media center edition

Until the past two years, the 32 bit is all it was. There was some 64-bit machines, but not enough to make the penalty for software authors.

The 32-bit programs will be running on a 64-bit computer, makes it also less urgent.

64-bit programs may run a little faster in certain circumstances, but most of the time, you will notice little difference.

  • What version of Firefox options do I have to use Firefox on the new laptop running Win 7 64 bit, and how do I move bookmarks current laptop running Firefox 3.5.13 again laptop?

Currently running on the laptop using Windows XP pro sp3 Firefox 3.5.13 and want to move my favorites to a new laptop. New laptop using Win 7 pro 64 - bit OS. I've read too many conflicting reports on Firefox and Win 7 and Firefox works on a real 64 - bit version. What are my choices for a stable browser for the new laptop and what specific version of Firefox is recommended, and the advantages and disadvantages of this suggestion? (I think we can run Firefox 32-bit version in the 64-bit environment, but which is the best choice?) I have not installed Firefox on the new laptop yet and am eager to dump IE. It is displayed for my old laptop. Thank you...

Mozilla working on a 64-bit version of Firefox, but it's a way off. Currently, the only release versions are 32-bit, and the next major version will be also only 32 bits.

I recommend that you install the latest version of publication (3.6.10) available since http://www.mozilla.com/

To copy bookmarks, follow the procedure described in the article restore bookmarks from a backup or move them to another computer to save a json file, you can import (restore) on the new laptop. You can copy more bookmarks, for details, see back up and restore the information contained in the Firefox profiles and backup - MozillaZine Knowledge Base Profile. The last link includes a third-party utility that can make the process easier.

  • I run 10 64-bit Windows and I have used iTunes for years. iTunes installs OK, I disable Norton Firewall during installation. iTunes starts OK, but when I try to access the store down ¾ of the page turns black

I run 10 64-bit Windows and I have used iTunes for years. iTunes installs OK, I disable Norton Firewall during installation. iTunes starts OK, but when I try to access the store down ¾ of the page turns black, the upper band has Taylor Swift and a few small icons to the bottom of the page. If I type Perry Como, in the search box, the page does not change.

lysdexic01, I know almost exactly what you describe on my screen of iTunes Store recently updated for Windows 7 64-bit. Only difference is that the icons in the black box are invisible until I move the mouse above them, their location by trial and error. Once activated, the icon remains visible. Each found icon flickers at first, but stops flashing if I pass the mouse over it.

I think that the store is now functional and useless for those of us experiencing this problem. Other users have reported that their iTunes store screen flickers since they updated iTunes to the latest version, but most did not mention the area big black screen that you and I see.

So far, Apple seems not to believe that there is a problem with the software to update iTunes. It is therefore important that users continue to report these problems to Apple that there are enough complaints for attention even during a week of office party.

  • How can I determine if I am running XP Pro 32-bit or 64-bit?

How can I determine if I am running XP Pro 32-bit or 64-bit?

How can I determine if I am running XP Pro 32-bit or 64-bit?

In general, with Windows XP, if you have to ask what architecture you are running: you are running Windows XP 32-bit.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/32-bit-and-64-bit-Windows-frequently-asked-questions

    1. Click Start.
    2. Do right click my computer and then click Properties.
If you don't see "x 64 Edition" in the list, then you are running 32-bit Windows XP.
If "x 64 Edition" is listed under system, you are running the 64 bit version of Windows XP.

Another surefire Tip: If your system is fully patched and you have SP3 - you run 32-bit.  64-bit has only until a SP2.
