32 but Vista 64 bit Windows 7

I have an a6200n Pavilion with 4 GB of RAM (half added after purchase) and Vista 32 bit. The internal system reports it is 64-bit capable. Upgrade advisor from Microsoft lists only a 32-bit Windows 7 upgrade path. It's just a bug in the Microsoft Advisor (which wouldn't surprise me) or are there other reasons that I can't move to 64-bit? I intend to make a custom upgrade.
