  My11gR2 database on windows 2008 R2 Standard is in error "ORA-28547: connection to the server failed, probable Oracle Net admin error.

  It's when I try to log on to the server itself

  The solution I found on most of the forums is to change in sqlnet.ora since '#SQLNET. AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = (NTS) 'to' #SQLNET. AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = (NONE)"and restart the receiver.

  But even if it doesn't in my case.

  Guys, there are 2 databases installed on the same server, to correctly configure the SID. Once set, I could see that the database is down and when starting it started working well.

  Your post is a duplicate of the OP's original question. Having the same problems? If so, then some of the steps suggested to try this forum are listed below.
  Here are things to try

  1. the outgoing (SMTP) server requires authentication.
  you use Outlook Express you must check the box "my server requires authentication".

  2. If you are behind a firewall, we will be unable to authenticate.
  If you have a personal firewall, try to reduce security or disable it to see if it is causing the problem.
  (Remember to reactivate after the test)

  3. your SMTP (outgoing mail) may be blocked.
  Here's how to test:
  A. go in Start-> Run-> type: cmd 
  B. at the prompt type: telnet smtp.gct21.net 25
  (include spaces exactly as shown above)

  C. wait a few seconds. "You should see the following: ' 220 mail4.gct21.net ESMTP. This means that it isnotblocked.
  D. Si you do not see this message, your SMTP is blocked.

  You use Windows Mail? It could be a number of things.
   
  • Modem or router - reset both.
  • Server problem possible they need to solve.

  I have two email addy on Outlook Express 6.0 that have worked well for years.  Now, for the last 3 weeks, I can only receive mail among the addy.  I can not send and get the error:

  "The connection to the server failed. "Account: 'mail.bellspalsy.ws', server: 'mail.bellspalsy.ws', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, secure (SSL): no, Socket error: 10060, error number: 0x800CCC0E".

  I checked with my ISP, Verizon.  They tried a few things and said Outlook contact.  I also checked with the email provider of the email addy that does not work.  They said that there is nothing wrong at their end.

  Any suggestions?

  As far as I KNOW, Verizon is blocking SMTP email from Outlook (or any other mail program), unless you use a Verizon email via their SMTP server.

  Your server is mail.bellspalsy.ws, since Verizon block port 25 (smtp), that the post does not turn off.

  Option 1. Use Verizon email address and their server.

  Option 2. Whether mail.bellspalsy.ws can accept other ports and change it in Outlook.

  Option 3. Use a Webmail via the browser.

  I have windows xp. and my AVG does not update my Anti virus and Anti spyware is obsolete. AVG Forum suggests that my windows installer should be activated, but I tried the adjustment option here, but it did not work.   Hello Kimhib,

  Try this solution that worked for others.

  Go to Windows Explorer
  Follow the path in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application AVG\Update\download
  Delete the 2 files .ctf there.
  Then go to AVG and try to connect to the server. If all goes well, you can now save the download to your computer and install the new files.

  The files are: avginfoavi.ctf and avginfowin.ctf

  Use the settings recommended from Verizon. Right-click on the account name in the folders pane, and then select Properties.

  Under the servers tab, make sure that my server requires authentication is selected.

  On the Advanced tab.

  • Make sure that this server requires a secure connection (SSL) is selected for both servers.
  • Make sure that the outgoing mail port is 465 and the incoming mail port is 995.

  When you are finished, click work offline and delete all messages pending from the Outbox (below the records of account in the folders pane). Now, create a new test message and give him a single topic (e.g., trial 1). Send it to yourself and post a new message in your response.

  Is there a way you can use the EL expression #{securityContext.authenticated} in your template?

  As you can see in http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E16162_01/web.1112/e16182/adding_security.htm#BGBIFHDF teturns true if the user is logged on and returns false if the user is not connected, then maybe it can help you hide or redirect these links depending on whether the user is already logged in or not. A way to redirect an af:goLink using a clove of support.

  I need to use openldap as dataserver in ODI. But I'm not sure how to provide the connection string valid. My test ldap server:
  -Host: 172.18.0.106
  -port: 389
  -base dn: dc = example, dc = com
  
  And (optionally), root (simple authentication) access:
  -Bind dn: cn = jimbob, dc = example, dc = com
  -password: pass
  
  So I'm trying to start with anonymous access (read-only), it's my connection string:
  
  JDBC:SNPs:LDAP? ldap_url = ldap://localhost:389 / & ldap_basedn = "dc = example, dc = com"
  
  Unfortunately, this works now:
  java.sql.SQLException: ODI-40528: a com.sunopsis.ldap.connection.SnpsLdapDriverPropertyException occurred, saying: ODI-40546: a user has failed
  
  Why he asked me to the user? ODI documentation says, this user/pass are not mandatory.
  
  What are the access channels for anonymous access and root (or any other user) correct connection in my case? The two methods works with apache directory studio.

  You can define ldap_auth = none for the anonymous user.

  I can't seem to find the setting for the Web and client Anyconnect set connection attempts that have failed maximum when on the LDAP in Windows database.

  I would say that after that maximum 3 attempts to connect the possebility to connect again times out for 10 minutes.

  Now it is possible to log in as often as you want, which is a big security problem.

  Please, I can use some help to achieve this, thanks in advance.

  I don't think that this can be configured in AnyConnect or on the ASA. They both rely on the settings on the Windows Server. We can fix this. (reference)

  I use a Lab Manager 4.02 configured for ldap authentication, operating under windows 2008. Lately our ldap servers have been replaced by new servers with new names. However, this change has not been configured on the console of the Lab Manager and consecvently it is not possible to connect. I tried to locate any type of parameters to change the name of the ldap server, but failed. No idea how to solve this problem?

  Yes, never lose this account.  Even if you do, you can call a support aid if LDAP changes IP & you forget the no name/password ldap.
