• Email not appearing responses do not in discussions on the forum

  I get the forum messages sent to me by e-mail. When I receive a message, it says I have the opportunity to participate in the thread, is the forum page (I hate the web interfaces for the forums), or by replying to the email I received. I have responded to a number of positions, but do * not * see them in the thread, if I visit the forum page. In fact, I don't see them at all (this is why no one answered my questions, I guess :-)).

  Anyway, if I sign in the forums and go to look at my profile, I see links to the son, to which I replied and a line that says: I replied to this thread. However, if I click on the link to the thread and go read the entire thread, I don't see my answers by e-mail at all.

  No idea what I'm doing wrong, or why I can't meet a forum Announces by email? I had to visit the page of the forum, to ask this question.

  I sent this message here, because the Lightroom forum is the only one that I subscribed.

  You do not have something wrong.  If you reply to a message by direct e-mail you are bypassing the forum and there is no way for the comment to display.  Yes, you have the opportunity to respond anyway.  But if you want that your comments will be posted on the forum you must use the forum to respond.

  I'm new to forums please bare with me.

  I asked a question and received with gratitude a two responses from 'Nancy', another Member.

  Now, I want to close all my discussions so that they appear not in the pages of "content" window so that the database is not unecesarily strewn waste discusions and other members of the allowing easier navigation for their responses.

  Discussions here are rarely locked by the moderators.  If you specify what answer was correct, that puts a green ball/check by the thread & finish usually more detailed discussions.  However, it can get resurrected later by someone else with a related issue.  But this forum Gets an intense activity, which is not too common.

• Conversion of the discussions of the Forum Pages

  I have contributed on a forum of philosophy for a few years and just downloaded all of my text messages. There is a lot of it! This is a readable text file but he got all the information tag inside, the words in italics and quotes tags around them in the hooks.

  Is it possible to convert text marked as this in text form, so that the italicized text appears in italics, and block quotes appear as citations, etc.?

  Why not just copy the formatted text and which paste directly into Pages? The formatting will be retained but perhaps also all line breaks, if there is.

  You have only the tags because you it converted to txt using the browser/player.

  If it is in fact nothing, but formatting HTML/XML, try to open it in LibreOffice [free] and see if it opens as formatting, because then you can simply save it as Word .docx and open in the Pages.

  Why do you want to open in Pages anyway?

• CP5 - time default view for text captions

  I am using Captivate 5.0.1 and trying to figure out how to do something that has been in Captivate 4. In CP 4, I could change the preferences and set a time to default view for new text captions. By default, it is set at 3 seconds for all new text captions, but you can replace it. CP 5, that the default is set to 3, does anyone know how to change it?

  It is exactly in the same place as in Captivate 4: preferences, Global, default values. See screenshot. Or maybe I do not understand your question? If you're looking to apply to all, go to properties, but I did not understand that it was your question.

  HI - in the current version (2.0.x), there is no subscription/notification by email exposed through the INTERFACE of Team Collaboration. It is expected to be part of the next version of the line 2.1 (no date available immediately).

  In 2.0, I recommend using RSS feeds for a workspace update on recent activity. You should see the RSS icon in the recent activity that exposes the URL that you can use in your RSS reader. The following is a list of tested & certified RSS readers: Mozilla Thunderbird, FireFox Live Bookmarks, Omea, SharpReader, FeedDemon, NewzCrawler. Two General comments on RSS readers: 1) you need a player that supports the RSS (Outlook 2007 only is not supported autonomous) authenticated RSS readers) 2 on the Web (like reader.google.com) is not able to pass through the firewall on the server of the hive.

  I suggest you to follow these steps and check if that helps:

  a. right-click in the folder.

  b. click the name to sort by alphabetical order.

  You can also click on the name of the list view to sort the files alphabetically.

  How to display the thumbnails in the default view. I have just started a test of DC Acrobat and cannot find how to set the thumbnail view as default.

  Thanks George. Seems to only work for individual documents. If I do your instructions, close the document and then re - open, then of course the miniature view opens immediately. However, if I open another document the thumbnail view is not here. I need the thumbnail view to be opened by default for all documents as older versions of Adobe and other PDF software. If you can help that would be great.

  When I opened Acrobat Pro DC (I'm on a mac) the screen always opens from the best. Also, I lose the thumbnail view of the page in the left side bar, unless I have save this view in each document, I'm working on that. Now I know this isn't much to change this manually, but it is a bit annoying, especially if I have to open a series of documents and change it for each. I have already changed some things in the preferences > display of the Page, but it seems very limited. For documents I access a lot, I used the file > properties > Initial view. But I would like to be able to customize Acrobat so that I should not do this time each.

  If there is a display setting preferences by the PDF Creator, it replaces your display settings. So it is not possible for the installer for all documents by default.
