Hi jciaverizon,
I see that you get the fax window whenever you try to print. I suspect that the wrong driver was selected by default. If you know how to change the default value of the printer, please go ahead and do it, otherwise run the Print and Scan doctor. Printing and scanning doctor will set the default printer for you!

Office Jet 4630 uses too much ink
I bought an Officejet 4630 to replace my Deskjet D1420 on 23/02/15. Already, I went through ink original, no surprise and another pair of regular size cartridges. He was not yet 2 months! My old D1420 would last six months on a pair of ink cartridges. I set the printer to print in draft mode from the beginning. When I mentioned to HP, they were without help. They asked me how many sheet printing and I couldn't tell them, I don't really know. As sophisticated as this printer, I don't see any information on the number of sheet. Is there a way I can retrieve information about the number of sheets I printed?

HP OFFICE JET 4630 printer: HP officejet all-in-one 4630
Printer HP 4630 will sleep (extended) every time I have stop printing for about 10 minutes. When I try to print a different document/photo I have to press the power button to wake it up. I then have to close the wireless connection, and then reconnect the wireless connection using the printer menu.
How can I stop the printer to go into hibernation? I like to keep the printer on 24/7, unless I turn it off. In other words, make a 'real' power button power button. How am I susposed to print from my laptop currencies if I continue to go to the printer to wake up from hibernation and reset the wireless connection?
I hope someone can resolve this issure for me! Thank you...

If I understand your description your printer will not wake up or answer when you send a print job, unless you turn off and turn back on again. It seems to me that the problem is with the wireless connection. When you turn off the printer, and the back is re-establish the connection. We will set a static IP address and see if that fixes the problem so.
There is no option to turn off the sleep function, you can change the time it takes to fall into the mode "sleep", but not turn it off. Instead, please use the following document to assign the printer a static IP address: 4630 Officejet HP and HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4640 e-all-in-one printer series - printer does not maintain the wireless connection. Simply scroll three Solution: the printer of the assign a static IP address. If the problem persists, start at the top of the document that the solutions presented relate to connection problems.

HP Office Jet 4630 series: scanning problems
The printer is wireless connected to the computer as it will print and scan from commands from the computer. When I ask scan from the printer to the computer... message could not connect to the computer... check the connections.
Thank you for all the suggestions. I finally quit (disconnected) my router, the printer and the computer for 30 seconds. Plugged the router in, when it was rising and ready, connected to the computer and the printer. Tested print command and control computer scan... worked fine... Big... requested test scan of the printer... It connected to the computer, scanned... EVERYTHING IS FINE!

Office Jet 4630: Not enough memory (long live RAM)

Office Jet 4630: scanning with HP 4630
I use HP printers, as long as I can remember, and it is news to me. I have a few ideas in mind will hopefully solve the scan problem you are having with the scanned images cropping after analysis of the first page.
I suggest a reset of the power and make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall jack, avoiding bars power and surge protectors. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help greatly.
Press the power button to turn the product on.
With the product, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the back of the product.
If the product does not light by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.Check and update firmware: get the latest Firmware and product updates
Make a few copies to see if the symptom of copies, the same question as digitization. If copies are a problem, the problem is hardware related. If copies are fine, the problem is software partner.
If copies are fine, try running the print and Scan of the doctor. This diagnostic tool will check for all conflicts that may be causing the problem. The tool will show you a report at the end. If there is a problem that the tool could not fix, you will notice it in the results. Scan again thereafter.

4635 HP Office Jet: no black printing
HP office jet 4635 does not print black, changed the cartridge (new is 8 months old), still no black printing. page alignment, after 5 rows of colors, shows some signs of red warning with 2 red and 'important' arrows in red.

I try to install HP Office Jet 7210 all-in-one printer.
My operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium, service pack 1
My computer is an AMD Athlon 64 x 2 Dual Core Processor 5000 + 2.61 GHz, with 2 GB of RAM and on the 32-bit operating system
When I go through the guests to the screen, I get two errors.
(1) is due to an error of operation. As I have Vista it triggers a caveat, but I understand that this can be ignored and continued
(2) the system can be installed using the "Run As" command... ». Apparently, I need to re - login as administrator. I am connected with the admin privaledges so not sure how to fix this

I'm sure that yu you are trying to install from the installation to Windows XP CD. Try to download the software from THIS page and try to install.

On my system, it isn't under HP, Hewlett Packard, who does not have that from some Photosmart end model. [Hmm, I had installed a pilot for the phanthom T series but since I did not actaully have a T series Officejet here I had not tried printing.] [When I try to open the driver I get a different error message of yours but still not usable...]
The last post of this thread suggests to use the drivers Officeejt R45 or Deskjet 400. In January in this thread, I also proposed the Deskjet 890C as a substitute driver, I just installed one built into Vista and it gave no errors.
