OfficeJet 4634: Chess multiple Windows Update

Windows Update has made the repeated attempts to install the following, which fails every time:

• HP - Printer Enterprise WSD multifunction, other material - Fax Null - HP Officejet 4630 series.

How can I remove it from the list of updates installed on Windows 10? Otherwise, correct the problem!

Hello:

As you know, Windows 10 has made it impossible to hide or ignore updates (or so it seems).

I found this tool from Microsoft that allows you to hide updates that don't work, or mess up your PC if they work, (as a synaptics touchpad update has done on my laptop).

https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/3073930

I saved this tool on my PC for use in the future if necessary.

  • 910219. how to download and keep the Windows Update files?

    Hello

What is the ideal way to update Windows? now, Windows downloads the selected updates. where? I do not know! and after their installation, it removes the packages for installation on my computer. This causes the downloaded updates are lost, and I can't use them to similar machines that need to install the same updates. for these machines, I have to download updates again! This causes my internet to be charged again while it is not really necessary.

the ideal way, in my view, is that I can specify a folder for the Windows Update service. It can use a default folder for that also. After selecting the updates, I want to install in my system, it checks to see if the update is already existing in the folder. only if NOT it downloads. then after downloading it maintains the package in the same folder after installing. installation should be done automatically as it is done now. Then I can move the folder to another machine. in the second machine, I also choose the update I want to be installed which are mostly the same as the first machine. for example, Windows Update only consumes my internet traffic for updates that are not yet downloaded. I wonder why Windows Update doesn't currently work the same way?

by this method, I can at least use the consumption of traffic and I can access the latest updates with the easier and faster way. I I would like to choose a memory flash for this purpose and keep the folder inside.

is there a way to achieve this?

You can check the corrupted system files. Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type CMD in the search box, right-click on CMD. EXE, then click on run as administrator. Then from the command prompt, type sfc/scannow.

I also tried MicrosoftFixit.wu.LB.80260702468354679.3.1.Run.exe without success and later FixitCenter_Run.exe without success.

I have not yet tried the reload Windows VISTA (32 bit) and then all the updates.  This seems very laborious and likely to cause additional problems of MS software on my Dell Inspiron E1505, which has often had problems digesting the MS updates despite replacing full of the motherboard, power supply, keyboard and multiple HDs.  I also hesitate to do so simply to properly install this subroutine "stop bits", as my ISP provides security in addition to the Security installed on my PC suite.

I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 on my desktop and laptop.  The desktop or laptops are part of my home network.  I have the HP Officejet 4635e installed as part of the home network and I have installed the HP software on two systems.  The printer works properly.  I am able to print, scan and HP 4635 passed the fax test.  However when I run Windows Update I get the following error message:

    • HP - Printer Enterprise WSD multifunction, other materials - Null Fax - HP Officejet 4630 series - error 0 x 80070490

All the other updates install successfully.  This problem occurs when I run Windows Update on the desktop and laptop.  Can you provide any help on how to solve this problem?

It has what is called a "phantom update".  I get the same error when I run the update in Windows 10.  Unfortunately there is no way in Windows 10 to hide an update as in previous versions.  Then simply ignore these updates failed and continue on our merry way.  Ghost updates occur through Microsoft when our software is up to date and they are not aware.  Maybe Microsoft will correct Windows 10 to hide updates later.

I've updated to Windows 10 and now have problems printing.  Help!  I've done all the troubleshooting, coil status stuff!  I'm used to be able to print from the internet, scanning to my computer or email and print wireless from my phone.  I now can not print anything!  I tried to install Windows updates.  Should what printer I configure default network or regular?  Use the printer pdf microsoft thing?  I am desperate... saved my bank statement online (pdf) to my documents and it would not print the Bank or my documents!  Before this I had problems after that my hard drive crashed and I got a new hard drive.   When my hard drive crashed I was using WINDOWS 10 and everything on the big printer worked; they sent back with new hard drive on windows 8.1 and I had I thought that the upgradew would solve the questions.   I could print and scan but no wireless for my phone on the new HDD in windows 8.1 and upgrade to 10 thought would solve my problems, but now it's worse... Help!

    Hi @savra,

If your computer is connected to the printer on a wireless network, you do not want to send print jobs to the network printer.

Here is a support document to help with printer after Windows 10 upgrade problems - after Windows 10 Upgrade, printer problems occur.

Aside to make sure Windows updates are up to date, there are a few other updates that can help with printing.

Microsoft has released an update that is supposed to help with wireless printing - Cumulative Update for Windows 10.

There was also an update for Adobe Flash Player in Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge who can help get this impression of your bank's site - Update for Adobe Flash Player.

Please let me know how it goes.

What to do if your operating system of Windows etc? You forgot to include any information whatsoever. I'll assume Windows 7.

You receive errors related to updates?

    1. Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button, all programs and then click Windows Update.
    2. In the left pane, click view update history.
    3. Find an update for Windows that has failed to install, and then double-click the update to view more information.
Updates that have failed to install will display failed under status, next to the name of update.
    4. In the Windows Update dialog box, next to the details of the error, review the error code for the update has failed.

Follow the links in the Windows Update dialog box under more information or help and Support to resolve the problem, then try to reinstall updates by using Windows Update in Control Panel or by mail with the error code and maybe someone may be able to help others.

I have Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 (I think that SP1 anyway). Last night June 17, 2011, update of Windows installed an update or updates. Now, Windows Explorer, Internet Explorer, Windows Installer, Windows Sidebar, Panel, Windows Update and other Microsoft programs all fail. I get messages with various error codes. Hi doc,

    Method 1:

You can try to repair aStartup if it is included in the system recovery options provided by the manufacturer of the computer or start from the disc for Installation of Windows Vista.

    Startup Repair: frequently asked questions

What are the system recovery options in Windows Vista?

    Method 2:

Alternatively, you can try to start a disk check and check.

You can view the following link to perform a disk check:

Check your hard drive for errors

Note: When you run the disk check, there are chances of losing data if you can take a backup of important data before you run checkdisk.
