  I have trouble getting my wireless printing function works on my MAC (connected via wifi), iPad and iPhone (via wifi).  They worked fine until a week ago when I tried to add mmy 6700 to the google cloud print, so that my son could print with its new Chromebook.

  The odd part is scanning works on my MAC (via wifi), but printing is not.  When I try to print a web page or a document, the opens the HP utility, connects to the printer and test printing it... will show "xx % feel" but never finished the work and up to 13% and, sometimes, witches 43%.  When I access the page to the printer from my browser and try to print the configuration page, it says "printer is busy - try again later.

  I understand that since connecting it to the Google Cloud Print, you have an impression of the issue of your Mac. I'll try my best to help you solve this problem.

  I suggest power cycling network and if this does not solve then try to reset the printing system.

  How to feed the cycling network
  Follow these steps to reset your printer HP, your router and your computer.
  1. press the power button on the HP printer to turn it off.
  2. unplug the power cord at the back of the HP printer.
  3. disconnect the power cord from the wireless router.
  4. turn off the computer.
  5. wait 30 seconds.
  6. reconnect the power cable to the wireless router.
  7. wait for 30 seconds, or until the router is completely ready.
  8 turn the computer on.
  9. wait for the computer to recharge.
  10. reconnect the power cord to the back of the HP printer.
  11. turn on the printer.

  I could list 100 reasons why it would be useful to be able to do this, then please none of the usual "why would you do that?' or ' is not the right way... blah blah blah" which is too often here.

  If you are Windows on a machine, you can print the file to the Adobe PDF printer, thus creating a new copy of it.

  If you want to convert the entire file of images, then you can export it to the image files (PNG, for example) and then create a new PDF from that.

  If you want to flatten the dynamic objects (such as form, comments, links, etc.) then you can use a simple script to do.

  There are many ways, your request may be interpreted... If you provide information on what you are trying to achieve it will be easier to help you do.

  Sorry, no.  The 6700 Officejet cannot copy and scan in a single operation, you must run the original twice now, once for the copy and one for the scan.  You can consider scanning to a file on your computer, then print this file.  This would confirm the paper copy will match the scanned document and would take only a passage from the original by the document feeder.

  If you are wanting to use the black cartridge for printing, you can follow step 2 in this document to change the print settings to print in black and white:

  Please be aware that you don't need two ink cartridges to print.  The printer uses little color for printer maintenance.  This interview is described in the document I have attached.

  Once the color cartridges is completely exhausted you must replace it in order to print.  After this setting the printer to print in black and white will minimize the used color and make it last longer.

  I have similar problems. I can scan and copy with no ossues. I can print wireless using a laptop. However, I am having a problem with my Samsung Galaxy s5 printing and the tablet. They used to be able to print wireless until a few weeks ago. I tried to turn off the printer and the router, and reinstall the hpe print app. What else can I try?

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

  I understand that you have some problems with printing from your Android devices to your Officejet Pro 6700 e-all-in-one printer. I can help you with that.

  First, you mention that you are able to print from your laptop, but not your Android devices, so let's start with the following text:

  1. Turn the printer power off and Android devices off the coast.
  2. While the printer is off, remove the power cord at the back of the router for a minute.
  3. When the lights come back on the router, turn on the printer and Android devices.

  At this point, you should be able to print. If this is not the case, check your Androids network settings and turn off the feature that has the Android automatically switch networks if it detects an internet connection. Also check that the devices are connected to the same network as the printer. Once this is done we will try printing again.

  If you are unable to print at this stage of your androids, then on the printer, click on the wireless icon that looks like a radio tower and let me know what the first three digits of the IP address of the printer is. For example, if the printer's IP address is 192.168.1.5 I need just 192.

  My laptop can't find my wireless printer Officejet 6700.  Printer is on the wireless network but the laptop cannot find it.  Laptop the wireless.  Have cisco router on my NBN skymesh satellite.  Have you tried printer setup in the control message panels reads:-printer is not found.  Using windows 7.  Have tried to use scan doctor, turning his router unpluging printer and electrical power to the router. Still no luck.  Printer is about 1 meter portable.  Do I have to set up a home network and connect like that.

  If you can easily plug the printer into the router using an Ethernet cable, who always beats wireless!  Try it!

  Update of the OS before the Officejet is not enough, these updates are owned by the operating system.

  The HP update printer driver is also provided via Apple Software Update, an update, you did before having unit did not have the HP update as there was no HP devices connected to your Mac, so please be sure to follow these steps both to update the drivers of HP.

  My computer - PC Toshiba laptop - will recognize not my new HP Officejet 6700 as default printer - print word documents well but others it only allows me to select the right printer to print - the combo box to select the default printer lists not my printer and in the Printers window it won't let me choose the 6700 by default even if the 6700 is registered.

  When turned on, our 6700 OfficeJet 6 - months, goes through the boot process, makes a gear grinding noise and finally stops with an error message of paper jam.  I went through all the steps to remove a paper jam (there was no paper to clear) except the cleaning rollers.  It of as if the gear in the duplex unit is not quite the tail with his partner in the printer, but not sure.  I checked to make sure that the rollers turn freeling.  The duplexer gear is a little tight, but it does not move.  Any ideas?

  It seems that this printer has developed an internal problem.  From the sounds of it, the issue is the release mechanism for the transport of the print head.

  There is a document to help out the noisy operation found printer here.  This can have a few extra steps for troubleshooting paper jam you have already done.

  I would also try re-allocation of places the duplexer if she appears out of alignment.  However, if the problem persists, then it will be a hardware problem that the next step is replacement of the product.

• HP Officejet 6500 Wireless: Print - stream paper and sounds right but nothing on paper.

  Recently the summaries printed and everything was fine.   Replace the ink cartridges and now when we try to print something, the flow of paper into the printer and sounds like its printing but nothing does not appear on paper when it comes out.  When printing e-mail, it will display the title (to, from, subject, etc.), but nothing in the body of the e-mail draws.  I aligned the print heads and cleaned the print heads, but still nothing.   Thanks for the link/document showing how to solve my problem. I had already done most of the steps proposed but remained the problem of horizontal white streaks in magenta during Diagnostics.

  I called HP support, this time to connect to a branch in the United States,-(not supported by the 'HP' I had initially called with foreigners, answering the line who tried to get me to buy a service contract).

  HP will send a replacement magenta cartridge and I'll see if that solved the problem. Otherwise, I was told my printer is still within the warranty and will be replaced by another which has been refurbished.

  That will be fine. However, it is always frustrating to pay $42.00 for the new original HP ink cartridges, then half their levels making cleaning head printer and diagnostics on an old printer for 2 months of use.

  Please retry the procedure which should solve the problem below.

  go to START > Control Panel > printers and devices.

  Right click on the printer icon > click Printing Preferences, and then select the Officejet pro 6700 series (not the Fax icon).

  Click the paper/quality tab on top, under quality parameters, select project; Under colors, select black & white. Click on apply and then OK.

  Whenever I want to print wireless, I get bored. I could get my mac to print wireless, but the connection is never overnight. I don't want to have barely grows every time, I wonder if I am doing something wrong or is simply not compatible with mac wireless printing? My hp laptop has no problem printing wireless. Any help/advice is appreciated! I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the printer and re-set up the connection, I was able to print wireless just after, but now I can't. The wireless network print shoes an excellent connection, everything happened and IP addresses are very good as well.

  Try to remove the printer and then add it again by opening the Preferences tab and then selecting «printers & scanners»

  From there, click on the sign less under the printer icon to remove the printer and then add again using the sign.

  This is often useful if you are currently outside experienceing printer issues regularly.
