OfficeJet 7210

Until recently, I could load several pages into the document feeder to produce a scanned document "single", composed of a number of pages.

Suddenly, everything has changed and multiple pages are scanned and saved as individual documents.

No idea why this happened and how can I fix?

Hello

My reccomendation is to use the Image Capture in your Applications folder.  Choose your scanner to the left, then click on "Show details" on the bottom.

Choose the PDF format, then check the box for "combine several pages into single file" (or similar words).

  • OfficeJet 7210 all-in-one duplex problem

Since the Officejet 7210 connection to laptop running Vista Business, printing accessory 2 sides with rear tray is not recognized. I have been using the 990c for 2-sided Deskjet driver but it does not recognize the quarterdeck. Impossible to print photos using the quarterdeck, and when I try to load the photo paper 4 x 6 in the main tray, the image will print to the position of the center of an A4 page, not the location when the tray is adjusted to 4 x 6 (10 x 15 cm) stock AM. How can I activate the rear tray feed stock photo.

Is there an updated driver for the 7210 that supports the duplexer with rear tray or what other solution would you recommend?

Given that the duplexer and the rear tray were optional on the Officejet 7210 the default driver for them being "not installed".  Go to the printers, right click on device settings 7210, folder properties, Installation Options, and set the duplex unit and the rear tray installed, apply, OK.

This makes the rear must be accessible and you can try duplex printing.  You will probably need a patch to correct the print head back down when printing double-sided, it is available as described here.

  • OFFICEJET 7210: I need drivers for my Officejet 7210, printer all-in-one.

Hello everyone, maybe someone uses drivers for an Officejet 7210 all-in-one printer?, this printer is deleted and no longer supported by HP, I bought a new laptop and now I need to install drivers...

    Thanks for your hellp...

    Daniel

On the assumption that the OfficeJet 7210 is a member of the printers OfficeJet 7200 series (I don't know for sure - I don't have much knowledge of ink jet printers):

My Professional 10 64-bit Windows system has a driver for the OffiiceJet 7200 series printers:

You may need to click the Windows Update button in the Add Printer dialog, then wait (possibly several minutes) while additional drivers are downloaded, until the list is filled again.

Of course, I have no idea if this driver is not working properly, or if it will offer all the features that you can.

In fact, the driver of Windows 7 made good automatic duplex printing - no patch is required for Windows 7 [edit - this is true for fresh installation.  For the versions of Vista the patch may be used for Windows 7].  The default value for some printers, is that the duplexer is 'not installed', please check the Duplex Printing Troubleshooting Guide for Vista.  In Windows 7, the procedure is slightly different, in the folder printers click twice on the 7410, double-click the icon 'Customize your printer', device settings and under installable options go "Duplex for two back" on installed, OK.

  • Installation of Windows 7 full software for OfficeJet 7210 ALL-IN-ONE

    Hi people,

I am trying to install the complete package for an OfficeJet 7210 AIO, via USB, Windows 7 x 64.  It is a Dell Optiplex 760.  I don't have admin rights, and I use the last bunch of HP for this installation.  I have run with high privileges, and he fails and hangs without error code at the place where it says "Application Updates.  This machine has a Core 2 Duo processor 2.93 GHz.

    Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

    Thank you!
    James T.

Thanks, but I need the scanner too, and you can't have the functionality to scan using the regular printer.

But we thought about it! There are a few options to install only some components, and we need to uncheck some of them, like the automatic updates, the client program, etc.

    Thanks anyway!

  • OfficeJet 7210: HP Officejet 7210 all-in-one works in Windows 10

Anyone have any suggestions for my situation?

I have a HP Officejet 7210 all-in-one I've had for a while. (It works fine all this time).

My last computer was (that is, starting to act a little "ginchey"), it was time for an upgrade... So I went to one 64-bit Dell to another.

The 7210 worked well on my last Dell, but I can't not all software (scanning, printing, fax, etc.) to properly install from CD (obviously older version of the operating system). HP website for updates of pilot is kind of useless (they appear to have abandoned this machine, no longer support).

Here's the rub: old pc was running Windows 10, new machine runs Windows 10.

    Any suggestions people out there?

Frankly, if I'm just a victim of HP 'ripping off' supported by an operational device otherwise, I think go "elsewhere" for my next printer if I have to upgrade.

Kind of sad, I used to be a big fan of HP over many years, but their current support, products, etc. are leading me to look elsewhere these days.

Thank you for everything, for support, ideas, suggestions, etc.

  • OfficeJet 7210 all-in-one

I have had this printer for about 5 years, running on an XP system.  I recently bought a new computer running Windows 7.  Windows 7 found the drivers to operate the printer and it is high and fine.  However, I lost the ability to scan with the printer. I have the old CD (version 4.7.1) but this is for XP.  I can't install software to run my scans on the part of the printer scanner?  If not, what are my other options?

Hey there scott77, welcome to the Forums!

I noticed that you bought a new computer now on Windows 7 and looking for the full functionality of driver and software so you can have the capabilities of scanning back as you did with your XP.

The good news is, you do not need the diskette, given that a download available that you can use to install the software.

    Hi LChristofaro,

I have studied your error message and the Msiexec.exe error and this is a problem with windows install. I would recommend restarting your windows installer.

    To do this:

    1. run "Services.msc" (without the quotes).

    2. double-click on "Windows Installer" in the Services list.

    3. click on stop, and then click OK.

    4. Click Start, and then click OK.

You restart the computer and try the installation again.

Let me know if this helped.

    Thank you

  • Cannot re - install drivers for Officejet 7210 all-in-One

Any ideas on how I can get the drivers to re - install?

Windows 7 has been corrupted, so I reinstalled Windows to the factory image. I'm now reinstall all programs but used to install printer drivers. They installed fine when I got this PC from office in December 2009. I get the following message.

    ------------------

This software cannot be installed using the command "run under...". ». The installation cannot continue until this is resolved.

Action required: click Cancel to exit this software installation. Sign out and then sign in as a user with administrator privileges. (Contact your system administrator for more information.) If there is no system administrator, ask the primary user of this computer installation software. Restart the installation by removing and re - insert the installation CD.

    ------------------

I run the installer as administrator, tried it in Compatibility Mode for XP and Vista, verified box "Run as Administrator", etc. etc. Nothing works - I still get the same message.

I have all the Windows updates.

I downloaded drivers from the HP website. The file is "rub_w01_Americas_Euro1.exe".

The product name and number = Officejet 7210 all-in-One printer

Operating system = Windows 7 Home Premium

Any suggestions on how to get this re-installed?

Well, who seems to have been the solution. Initially, I did a search on the HP website for the printer driver for the printer, and this original file was the one I pointed. It was also the same the original file that I had since my first installation of the printer two years ago - I looked on the HP site this time just in case the driver has been updated.

However, I tried the file you said and it works beautifully. The printer software interface is completely different and there is this new "Solution Center" application that has been installed - so I assume that HP has re-written the driver and software package around, including the installation package.

I'm puzzled why HP research could point me to an incorrect file.

I'm still puzzled as why the original file that I used to install the drivers for printer two years ago is no longer works on my PC.

In any case, thanks for the idea. I don't know how you find the file, but it worked.

  • HP Officejet 7210 all-in-One

I had a power surge.  I have a HP Officejet 7210 all-in-One and a Dell.  The Dell restored automatically when the power came back; HP never returned.  Other devices connected to the same power strip work.  Does this mean that HP is fried and done?

Hello alphacj34and welcome to the Forums of HP.

I see that you are having feeding problems.  I would try to help.

I recommend you to perform a power reset.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

I also recommend this document on The HP printer will not be market or react when the power button is pressed.

If this does not resolve the issue, I would recommend contacting HP directly.  You can use this Web site for information about how to contact HP properly, based on your region: Contact HP worldwide.

    Hello joefredt.

Thanks for the information. I want you to add a printer Deskjet 990c. Please open "devices and printers". Once that opens click on add a printer in the dialog box. Now click on "add a local printer. When it says "use an existing port", the drop-down box and search for the USB0001. Select it and click "next".  Please click the button of "Windows Update". This may take a few minutes to complete. Just wait for the "MFG" and "Printers" list to fill again. When they come back to the top, scroll down to "HP" (no), and then search for printer "HP Deskjet 990c" on the right side. Please select this option and click Next. After that simply select the Finish button. Once the printer is installed you can your print jobs that you have problems with the printer. I hope this helps.

    Hello

It is an AIO/MFP printer. Its driver should cover... Printing/scanning HP was just one suite for her (some printers have base driver only). You must install all and remove the class that you don't like. If you wish to do this, you can find the driver on the following link:

  • Can't get HP Officejet 7210 all-in-One install

Have tried to install the HP Officejet 7210 all-in-One ways, using the two sent HP drive for WIN7, download HP and Microsoft Download.  Even did a fresh reboot and all "HP" regedit.  This printer worked fine under WIN XP Pro, but now with a fresh install of WIN7.  It crosses the installation but does not print.  By checking the properties of the printer, it shows model #unavailable, scanner unavailable and on pilot shows nothing.  Can anyone help?

How is the connected printer - USB or wired LAN?  I suggest that you look on the CD to a directory util\ccc.  This directory should be a series of commands, uninstall_L1.bat by uninstall_L4.bat files.  Unplug the printer, and then run uninstall_L1, then uninstall_L2 and uninstall_L3 files.  Then run the installation program and do not connect the printer until you are prompted to by the installer.

  • OfficeJet 7210 won't install with Netgear N600 router

I tried to install my Officejet 7210.  I connected directly to my Netgear N600 router and I have access to the wireless router.  My son's computer CAN find and use it.  Mine can install the printer but it won't print.

I used each troubleshooting I can find.  The HP diagnostic utilities give me an error message when I try to download them, so they were of no use.

    -I can ping my printer.

-When I try to add a printer manually, it still does not.

-The printer is the default printer, and it is configured to share.

-It is not in offline mode.

-I have installed and reinstalled all the drivers.

I don't know what else to try.  I don't know enough about the network settings to know what to check.

    OS: Windows XP

    Printer: Officejet 7210

    Router: Netgear N600

The printer works correctly with the Windows 7 operating system.

Please help me.  I'm pulling my hair out.

    Hello world

I found a solution to my problem, and I'll tell what I did in case it helps someone else.

I used the standard HP installation discs and I got the printer from the list of printers to my computer.

I have my printer right click and went to Properties.  Then I went to the Ports.  I went to the HP Standard TCP/IP Port and pointed and clicked on Configure.

Then I went to my printer and print the Configuration Page to network to find his IP (parameters --> network --> print the network configuration page).

I went to my browser and put the IP address of the printer (see the list on the Network Setup page).  I got a page with all my settings of the printer listed.

Then I compared what were the parameters of the printer with the settings on the port.

In my case, the name of the printer didn't exactly match anything on my network configuration page.  However, if I entered the IP address on the port, the window don't would not accept it.  If I entered MAC (with or without 'HP' in front), the window would not accept.

This last step is what is different from the advice I've seen in the support of HP, then make a note of this one:

So instead, I changed my printer in the port name to match what was the name on the Web page under the IP address of the printer (home --> info network --> host name).

    Voila!  My printer works.

    I hope it's clear.

    Thank you

    Julia
