OFFICEJET 7500 HAS

My Officejet 7500 a Format large printer prints half page of the copy. It prints and scans OK, but the problem seems to be with the copy. Does anyone have suggestions as to how to overcome this problem?

Great news, thanks for responding with what has been done to resolve the issue.

I use Mac OSX 10.10.5 - they have more a driver that will support the officejet 7500 has 910. Y at - it a fix for this.

    Hi @adiedrichsen,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I see that you are looking for a driver for your printer HP Officejet 7500 a E910a on Mac OS X 10.10, and I'm happy to take a look for you!

There is no full feature software and drivers available directly from HP on this printer and operating system.

However, there is a driver by Apple which gives basic printing and scanning capabilities, you can download this driver by accessing this Web site, HP v3.1 for OS X printer drivers.

Scanning without HP software, please see this post, Re: iMac OS X 10.9.3 Scan for iMac driver for HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 a A910a does not appear to be, by my colleague @Sunshyn2005. That applies to your printer and your operating system, as well.

Hope that answers your question and have a nice day!

  • Black line copy/scan number Officejet 7500 has

OfficeJet 7500 has. When do face or scanning through feeding, copying or scanning has a vertical line from the top to the bottom, near the Center. When explorations or copies are made from the plateau, this line does not appear. We have cleaned the rollers and separator, but we always get this line in the middle. There is also no line when we print from the computer... Please advise as this is a brand new computer.

  • OfficeJet 7500 has E910: error scanner E910 Win7 Officejet 7500 has "not detected any computer" & Doc printer/Scanner has no help

I just moved my printer/copier/scanner/fax, E910 Officejet 7500 has on one side of my office to another. In the process the power and USB cables have been disconnected. Same USB cable as before, connected to the same port on the computer.<3 meters="">

Re-installed software CD. Downloaded updates. Several files in the HP folder are displayed with today's date, so clearly that something happened with the update.

Printer is now recognized and will display the files on the computer.

    Photocopier creates copies.

    ... Scanner not scan.

When a document is placed in the tray sheet or on the glass, "no computer detected" error message is displayed on the HP device. [Note: this computer can send commands successfully, if clear communication goes]

On the computer, when the devices are searched and displayed, the HP device appears with any other printers/Fax. Scanner is not mentioned here - but when the details are drilled for, said that it's in the category 'printers, scanners '.

Googling suggested tool print and scan doctor, so I went to that and downloaded. When you click on it to run it, it says that (paraphrase) some files are missing, wants to download them (value 121 mB). So, I click Yes or then, or whatever, and it brings them. Notice I just do a full install and updates downloaded, that more can he want?

Then, nothing happens. Help HP screens suggest that he must now ask me what function I want help or ink on. Nothing, no suggestions with little green checkmarks or advice of the error.

So I went down there is text on what to try. Some apply - after that the doctor Download 4 or 5 times and do the suggested software download it 4 or 5 times, somehow unnecessary. Disconnect and reconnect the USB cord - done that, at least the print function does not disappear, but the scan did not return. Restarted the computer and printer HP - has done that, no difference.

This is not the first time that the scanner was not updated on the computer at the other end of the cable. In the past and it has been a while, memory, is this activation of the analysis of the computer set the scan to life function, but I do not see this option. The computer "HP Scan" displays an error message that the HP Officejet 7500 E910 was not found, as does the Windows Fax & Scan.

Why, if the printer can be found, and it is in the same unit as the Scanner, the scanner will not appear?

Telephone support HP identified the problem: no drivers. Took about 15 minutes for a useful person straightening things.

Note that I had uninstalled the printer and its software before re - load the software.

As part of this process, I had identified with HP via different input strings the OS of the computer and the details of the all-in-one device model number. So why couldn't HP identify the drivers concerned and ask them to download also?

Anyway, for now, what I need is working.

  • OfficeJet 7500 has the configuration of the fax machine with 2 telephone lines

I have an Officejet 7500 a. The phone is a double line, phone double issue. The 2nd line/number is the number of fax. There is also a DSL service on the line and an answering machine for two lines on a phone. There is no separate cycles for two numbers.

For installation, I shared the line out of the wall socket. We're going to the DSL modem. The other goes to a DSL filter.

I tried to hang the black line of HP filter, then the line-1 printer. Then, out of the printer 2 - ext to a separator with several phones, including one with an answering machine. However, all the features of line 2 has been removed from all phones. I guess the line black/printer fails to pass. However I could pass the test of fax,

So I had the idea of dividing the two lines into individual lines, feed on the second line in the printer (using the HP black line) and then again, and then recombine the lines and send them on phones. Now all the features of two line seems to work for phones, but when I run the fax test, it does not say "you do not use the type of appropriate phone cord.

    It looks like this:

    DSL filter - Splitter-L1 - L1-Splitter (recombine) - phones

    -L2 - HP Black line - 1-line 2 - ext - L2-

I don't know why it's a failure, or what I have to do to make this work?

For completeness, the separator is a 3 line separator, but we have nothing on the line 3. It is divided as follows:

    L1 + L2 + L3 Splitter - L1 + L3 (effectively L1)-cross

    -L2 + L3 (effectively L2)-for Officejet

    -L1 + L2 + L3 (not used)

    Ideas?

Well, I seem to be at the end of the game. I tried sons of single line of the fax to the telephone/answering machine and fax test still does not work. I turned off also error correction mode and that made no difference.

BUT it doesn't matter because the phones and fax all seem to work very well. I sent a fax to the service HPFAXME (several times) and it worked fine and in. The answering correctly and fax catch fax calls and ignores the voice calls. If someone meets the fax call they hear 3 beeps and the line is silent. In case, answering machine or direct pick-up on any phone, the fax is correctly. I also tried the FaxZero service and it worked fine.

So, I will be content with that, even though the fax test fails. It bothers me because I do not let "loose ends" lying around, but since I can't read the mind of the engineers who designed it, and how they expected over this configuration, which I think would be relatively common, I'm just spinning my wheels.

    Hello

The 7500 has support not all sizes on your operating system:

Custom-size media is not supported in Windows.

You can find all supported paper size in the paper specifications below:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02283601

You can try the No. 6 3/4 envelope size and check if this can work, it seems to be close enough to the mentioned size

  • Printer large Format HP 7500 has: OfficeJet 7500 has quit the connection during the scan in VueScan & Mac OSX 10.10.1

The scanner interrupts the connection of WIFI halfway the scan. I can scan sometimes two or three pages, and then the next page will scan only partial and the connection is abandoned - typically freezes application (VueScan), while the scanner window indicates that the analysis is ongoing. If I wait until the scanner end I get only part of the page, with the background that half left in white. That is what it is? Is the problem with VueScan, Mac OSX 10.10.1, OfficeJet 7500 or my WIFI network?

    Hello

What happens when you scan from the HP or Capture of Image scanning software, you see similar problems?

In the affirmative, please let me know because it wil require to solve any problem of connectivity to the printer.

If everything works with software such as HP can happen due to any problem with VueScan, such I would say contacting VueScan at torubleshoot because they are more familiar with their product.

  • OfficeJet 7500 has firmware

My 7500 has worked just since I bought it. A number of errors appear get flashed upwards several times. In all over the past 2 years I only managed to print 7 pages around. Because I was busy, I simply bought a competitors printer which worked perfectly.

Now I have time to work on it, I've checked everything I can physically on the device - nothing works.

My best guess is that there is some faulty firmware in the machine that detects failures where none exists.

Someone at - it on the other made a firmware update (if possible)? Or should I chuck just the machine into the bin and stick with the competition?

    Problem identified.

On the motherboard hidden deep inside the work is a battery of small discs - this was not causing the machine to identify random failure modes.

However, in order to get to this point, I had to disassemble the machine completely.

While I was doing this, I noticed large pools of ink inside the printer. HP clearly knew this problem because the volume around the print head parking area has been filled with wadding of absobent. This explains why the machine seems to "drink" expensive ink.

Very bad HP at the failure of the design in a home user machine cost (UK£ 500, $ 800 two years ago).

Because of this sloppy design and bad workmanship, I decided enough was enough and the machine is now in the bin.

I buy HP Desktop again? I will recommend HP to friends and neighbors? AM I impressed with the help of HP?

    I do not.

  • HP Officejet 7500 has compatibility with Windows Server 2012R2

    Dear team,

I would like to know if the HP Officejet 7500 a is compatible with Windows Server 2012R2 since there is no drivers for this OS.

    Thank you

    Mega-Support,

    Thanks for posting.

Under Windows, you can connect a printer to a computer via USB and be able to print. However, since there is no software for it on the HP site it's all what you can. Unfortunately, you will only be able to print using the USB method.

  • OfficeJet 7500 has E910, "ink system failure".

I have 2 Office jet 7500 a E910; I get 'ink system failure', the other works well; I take the printhead that is OK, I put it in the other: 'ink system failure '; I just got back from the other unit and no problem. I tried to unplug and reconect, same error. I tried to reset the printer, the same mistake; I cleaned with cleaning paper for lenses from contacts inside the print head holder, same error. What more is needed?

    Hey there!

Thanks for getting back to me!

I understand that the question much better now thank you for the clarification. So the problem is with the 1 printer, you take the printhead of the printer to work and put in the printer broke and he always says that there is a "ink system failure".

These steps you have done certainly point to the printer in question. I highly recommend that you call Support technique Hp for help with this problem because they have more options for you I do. For a uniform 'ink system' on 1 unit you know has a printhead working in could be a clear sign of a fatal error.

If you are in the Canada, U.S. dial 800-474-6836 or you can Contact HP worldwide.

HP printers usually have a warranty of 1 year from the date of purchase, you can check the warranty using the following if you wish; guarantee cheque.

I hope this helps. Please let me know the results. Have a wonderful day!

  • HP OFFICEJET 7500 has using windows 7 & XP will not correctly printed on photo paper 12 x 12

I did print online 2 partial lines through my photo paper. When I try to print on cardstock print on borderless setting but when I put photo paper, it stops about 1/2 "from the end of the page and trying to get the page back then is twisted and stops. I need to remove the page and he has a small tear on the edge of the page. Help, please.

I ended up returning the printer Staples because I had a friend to come and take a look and we discovered that one of the rollers on the side right wasn't in the right place because the paper would be stuck and twisting. New printer works fine now that we have implemented correctly. Not one of the easiest to set up printers. Thanks again for your help.
