The printer Officejet 8500 A909 series does not work with ePrint. You can use the House ePrint and Biz app for Android and Semien devices or application ePrint for iOS devices. However, you cannot use ePrint itself. Sorry for the confusion. Here are links to the ePrint and FAQ Mobile applications compatibility list. Hope that helps.

    Hi etaf,.

I guess the short answer is: Yes, the problem with the software and the 3.0 Port.

The long answer with a possible work around is as follows: first of all, the software looks for minimum requirements. Because the software is older, he doesn't know what a 3.0 port. You are right when you say that it should work since you do not use the USB and use wireless instead, but this is not the case.

There is something we can try, but I can't guarantee it will work. I thought first we could connect a USB cable and run the software made to force the software to see the USB port, but then the software wouldn't even get far enough because you can't plug the cable to the most later in the installation.

My second thought and most promising suggestion is to connect the USB cable (although we do normally not until the software prompts us to) and use the installation wizard HP Print to get the insteaad of software to use the CD or download from the printer driver page. Still, I can't say with certainty that it works, but I don't see why it would not be worth a try.

If it works, and we get the software installed you can convert the USB connection to a wireless connection using the software. Fingers crossed! Download and run the with the following link. Printer HP install wizard for Windows

If this does not work, or you don't want to bother with it (not worth trying), I might consider getting a new model of the printer. You can even call HP. They might be able to offer a discount on a newer model. If you are in the Canada, U.S. dial 800-474-6836 or you can Contact HP worldwide.

I go to the tab drivers and software, select the correct printer, and brings it to the top of the page where it is supposed to compile the list of drivers. The page says "HP is compile your results." It could take up to 3 minutes, depending on the speed of your computer and connection. Thank you for your patience. "The page has been loading for more than 30 minutes without any search results. • OfficeJet Pro 8500 A909a not print correctly

    OfficeJet Pro 8500 A909a

    Windows 7

I can't print now with my usual USB connection, directly from the computer USB for printer, even if another computer can print to it via a network connection.  After printing, I open printer in devices and printers, there is a ghost copy to the printer and the printer itself is ghost, indicating that it is in offline mode.  After you open the Quebec, the file is listed with a message "error-printing".  I can remove the copy to the printer and to set the printer online, but the process is repeated each time.

I: restarted the computer and the printer, run the troubleshooter printer with no problems, noted, tried the USB cable to a different port, execute printing and doctor Scan and my computer 'sees' the firmware, printer and resettled drivers and restart the print spooler.  There is no hardware problems - it will print on the other computer and copies, etc very well.  I have not tried another cable because I have a step and assume if my computer can see the printer should work.  One final note: there was a bolt of lightning about 100 yards away for the weekend. first thing Monday back to work is when I noticed the problem.

Please help, I did research for hours without success...

Tried the printer with 2 different usb cables to another computer and it never worked.  I think that the usb port on the printer has been fried.  Bought a new printer works fine.

I try to use my printer HP Officejet 8500 A909a on my rt Surface. My list of devices shows the printer, but indicates that it is not compatible with this version of Windows. This printer is supported in RT or not? If it is supported, how to configure it?

  • OfficeJet pro 8500 a909a: try to go to with a HP officejet Pro 8500 wireless

I just moved.  My fax in my old address connection came a "bundle" and has been through a fixed line.  I wonder if my oldest device is able to make a wireless upward set, or I'll have to stay with a land line and a phone number for the fax works correctly?

My unit is about 5 years... HP office jet Pro 8500 a909a...

    Thank you

    Hello

A telephone cable to a fixed line connection is required for faxing.

Generally, a Wi - Fi connection only refer to a connection to a computer for printing and scanning, it does not refer to a configuration of the fax machine.

However, the device does support all wireless, but only a wired network or USB connectivity.

    Kind regards

  • 8500 A909a does not print in "black" when it yellow. It is color of ink required to print everything?

Printer all-in-one HP Officejet Pro 8500 - A909a using Windows 7. The error message is "yellow", but the settings are to print in "black". The printer only works if all inks are operational or is it possible to print with only black ink?

Even if the unit is configured to print in black ink only requires that all cartridges is available. This is to avoid the printer itself.

Thus, the printer uses small amounts of color under black ink ink to keep ports in the filled fresh ink print head. This is part of the method that the unit integrated does not damage the printer by allowing the ink to dry in the ports of the print head. Also, this improves the black ink on the slipway of the page and have true black color we're used to seeing in print.

    I hope this helps.

Is this a real HP black cartridge not recharged? Have you looked at the tubes/cables that provide the ink in the print head? Are they bent or curved or not?
