OfficeJet pro 7680 does not use black ink. "alignment failed" is the error message.

How can I solve this problem? I put a new ink in the printer, rebooted and still nothing. Thank you.

Hello

Try following the steps below to calibrate the linefeed, reinsert the printhead, etc.. :

http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01957673

If the problem persists with no change, I'm afraid you need to replace the Black / Yellow Printhead...

As a general rule, any other value that only good health of print head indicates a problem with the condition of the print head...

Given the fact that the print heads are already 3-4 years old (warranty ends about 2 years from the date of manufacture of printer), it might be time to replace the B/Y printhead.

Kind regards

Shlomi

When you have changed the cartridge, the printer tried to automatic alignment?  How it went? (Success or failure)

So, you did a printhead cleaning (3 levels is preferable in this case)?

    * Press the key on the front panel of the printer

    * Press the arrow on the right for tools, then press Ok

    * Press the arrow on the right for the clean Printhead and press Ok

I also remove the black cartridge in the printer and try to clean the electric contacts with a clean, lint cloth and water.  Also wipe the contacts in the printer (make sure it is turned off during this operation).

There is also a document with the steps to solve a problem of printing such as this one.  The document can be accessed here.

If you get to step on replacing the printhead, then you have two options.  This being a wireless Officejet 6500 (E709n) it is probably out of warranty.

    (1) we can try the workaround provided by Bob_Headrick in the thread found here.

    (2) you can buy the print head since with CN643a part number HP parts store.  The print head sells currently for about US $70.

    (3) you can buy a new printer because it would be not much more than the printhead and would come with a full factory warranty.

    I hope this helps.

    Original title: hardware Id missing

I recently acquired a voice recorder HccToo 8 GB. However, whenever I connect it to my computer I get a message saying that the device is ready to use and after a few minutes the error message "hardware Id missing.
The usb cable that connects to the camera has no problem (and should be universal). And I tried to connect to other computers on win 7 with the same results. I also watched online solutions, but this problem seems to apply mainly to phones.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 does not scan full page legal-size

I have seen this question several times in these forums, but solutions do not apply to me - I can not find the applications or the settings or patches do not resolve the problem. I am running Windows 8 32-bit with a HP Officejet Pro 8600. When you scan a legal size document, the entire page is not scan, even when I select a custom size. The bottom is cut roughly where a letter size page would end.

If you respond with a solution, please be very specific, i.e. If you say "Control Panel", you mean the control panel of Windows 8 or the small touch screen of the printer itself? If you want "pull me up to the HP application", please say that the we - there are several installed on this computer, and I've tried them all.

    Thanks in advance...

In fact, the problem was located. I is broke and finally called HP support. It turns out that, contrary to the information that I have seen elsewhere, legal size paper MUST be analysed the ADF, not the dish. You can see a white band across the plateau where the search starts. The dish is physically unable to accommodate legal communication. Once the original is loaded in the ADF, the size of the document options now include legal communication.

    Hello

You can pass the value of hp scan: launch of the demand application, select the shortcut to scan (PDF or JPG to the left) and change the resolution you want and save.

This will send down the printer settings. So the next time you scan, the printer uses these settings.

    Good impression.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more A910n. Default alignment. See the documentation

I have a HP Officjet Pro A910n of 8500 has more on Window 7 Pro.  I went through all the suggestions here for alignment failure http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02207121 but all the colors print except for magenta.  I also did the reset in leaving it turned on and unplugging the power cord for about 5 minutes and in him plugging.  I saw a post on cleaning manually print heads and haven't tried that yet because I want to help or suggestions before trying this.  Also, I just bought this ink 3 days ago, and after you have cleaned the print heads 6 times including cleaning depth and running an alignment about 6 times it is already telling me I am low on ink, including magenta which has never printed since purchase.

What should I do to stop the alignment error, and why he says I'm low on ink when I printed after buying new cartridges of HP ink three days ago?

In these printers is a process of head cleaning uses ink from the tanks to get the ink flowing through the heads blocked. Now when you do a deep cleaning, it uses more ink. After several times to do the machine would have used a lot of ink contained in the tanks, and that's why you receive the message that the ink tanks are low. If the cleaning head does not get back to the standard print quality, then you can try to clean manually. The steps are as follows:

    1. lift the half top of the machine

2 Please note the message on the screen giving instructions on what to press.

    3. after that after step 2 the carriage will move to the left to a position where you will have access to it.

    4. lift the printhead blue lever.

    5. remove the printhead C/M.

    6. take a clean cloth or a soft cloth and clean the contacts.

7 put back in place the print head and let the machine go through the alignment process.

If this does not work, then you need to replace the print head.

  • My blue ink in HP Officejet Pro K550 does not print, even though I tried to put in a new cartridge.

My Officejet Pro K 550 printer, has lost its ability to print blue ink, but I tried to change the cartridge. Other colours and black work well.  Can you give me any advice as to what may be wrong?

    Hi Linda,.

I found some of my colleagues who have worked on this printer. There are some things to try, however, it is not all good news.

The engineer estimated that on the print head nozzles may be clogged for 2 reasons. The first is that there is only some residue ink. Here's what he said: "perhaps you can suggest to the customer to try to remove the print head (just the print head which has cyan nozzles), use a cotton pad or damp cloth to clean the residue of ink around the nozzle. Replace the printhead, and then do the cleaning sequence that the manual says. This procedure might be able to recover some scenarios of nozzle clog, but he's going to use up little ink. »

However, it may be that air took the print head: '. '. If the print head is deprimed, that means air penetrated in a certain room after turning on which can never be purged, causing not able to sink more ink. In these cases, I think that the print head should be replaced. »

The engineer also spoke with assurance of customer, who believes that this particular product is past its end of life, which means that it is technically longer than Hp designed to operate. I know that you only had 3 years, but you want to be aware of this.
