TODAY, I USED DOUBLE-SIDED FOR THE FIRST TIME. IT WAS WORKING FINE BUT FIRST SIDE OK BUT ON THE OTHER HAND WAS UPSIDE.

CAN IT BE TURNED OR IS THIS THE ONLY WAY IT PRINTS. I TRY TO PRINT MY BROCHURE

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600 more - problems of duplex scanning

    I recently bought a HP Officeject Pro 8600 Plus and I work from a mac 10.6.8. Whenever I scan from the charger it creates only a single document face and I can't find anywhere in the settings of the printer itself or the "scan of the computer.

    settings in the Hp printing software utility to change double-sided scanning. NB. I use the 'save a pdf option.

    Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

    If you scan directly from the printer, when you are on the menu to choose how you want to save the file (in format) there should be a lower left button that toggles between the original side 1 and 2 original faces.

  • HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Scan number

    Hi all

    I tried 2 scan options.

    1. scan by clicking on the computer that I can choose a few options. for example, contrast, brightness. I chose option of black and white scanning with contrast and brightness 0

    2 analyze in touchpad on the printer itself. (No options except pdf or jpeg)

    Question: Why option 1 has an own analysis which all text looks sharp while option 2 has many shades of black on the edge?

    Options 2 has a file size of less than 50 KB.

    Anywhere I can adjust scanning options using option 2?

    Unfortionately there is no way to change the option of the façade. The only way to adjust the settings come from the computer. I'm sorry.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 duplex problem - always resizes

    Hello

    You just bought a Officejet Pro 8600. Install the duplex unit. When I send a book to be printed the 8600 INSISTS on resizing the document, as if obeying some invisible margins.

    The police is also resized.

    This seems to happen regardless the setting 'preserve the page layout.

    I'm on Windows 7 x 64 and I have the latest Firmware

    Grateful for any help

    The only way to prevent resizing the last pages of the 8600 is to use another driver to print with it. I'll link the steps below. Let me know what happens.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus - Duplex printing problem

    I use a printer Officejet Pro 8600 Plus (what is the best printer I've ever had, apart from this problem!).  I use it with Windows 8.1.

    He struggles for more than a few pages print using duplex.  The problem seems to get worse when I print a pdf file.  It starts to print very well and made a few pages, but then I get this message "error on HP Officejet Pro 8600.  "Could not print * name * folder.  It appears on the computer not the printer.

    Any suggestions?

    I just wanted to add my own suggestions here for the issue of two-sided printing that you had with your Officejet 8600.

    You can try to update the firmware: get the latest Firmware and updates

    If this does not help, try to uninstall the printer software , reboot the PC and reinstall the printer. This should dissipate all software problems.

    My immediate problem is that my printer does not print after installing new HP ink cartridges. It worked very well, and I had a weak color and a black ink supply, so I replaced all the.

    The biggest problem is that we cannot reach, talk, email or instant message someone connected remotely to HP.

    They have a shield until molasses made up a wall of 40 regions, departments or products, followed by a re - direct to sub contract of sale or repair companies that appear when you try to click on certain areas to help.

    It is very difficult to get real help from HP directly.  Sales and marketing and promotion.  It is senseless to have an image of high class and the name and not standing behind your product, service, information or assistance.

    It makes people go to another brand name in the future.  I have a HP4215 printer / a 4180printer of HP and an Officejet PRO 8600 wireless printer, a HP Pavilion CPU and an HP laptop.  But for the life of me, I can't reach everyone out there to tell me how to fix or troubleshoot the product.  And tryng to find a local repair for printers? Is not the case.

    So MY question is, either A) how to make a rep from HP to contact me about my problems, or B) how to get the most money for my HP products when I jump from another brand that has the customer service?

    I had this problem before, but I can't easily find my previous bug report, perhaps this was done on another forum.

    I'm trying to Print Duplex HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 using hplip in Arch Linux.

    I don't see an easy way to attach my file cups but I think that the cups file is configured incorrectly in what he says hplip that my printer will not duplex print.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus duplex printing does not

    I am on Mac OSX leopard (10.5.8) and just purchased the officejet pro 8600.  Everything seems to work fine except that I can't understand how to print on both sides.  The option is not allowed in the layout

    I checked the settings of the printer and you don't see anything to indicate how to enable the duplex printing option.

    Please follow the steps below to configure the automatic duplex print driver:

    1. check that duplex printing accessory has been installed correctly. To check this open system preferences and go to Print & Fax. Open the print to your printer queue. Click Printer Setup and in the tab menu choose driver. Make sure that the box next to HP printing accessory (duplexer) sides.

    2. on the file menu, select print. The print window is displayed.
    NOTE: The print window might be minimized. Click the blue triangle next to the printer name to see all available parameters.

    3. in the print window expanded you will find next to Copies the checkbox for duplex. Select the check box.
    NOTE: If the check box does not appear in the specific application print dialog box, skip this step.

    4. to select the connection type click the selection box below, listed as the name of the program (e.g. TextEdit)
    Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.

    5. Select the menu drop down.

    6. set the duplex option as binding edge Long (Portrait) or binding Long Edge (landscape).

    You can save the settings for later use by clicking preset > save current settings as preset.

  • Duplex with an Officejet Pro 8600

    I just bought a HP all-in-one Officejet Pro 8600 and installed it and got operational.  I have an accessory front for two-sided printing, but for some reason, other that printing from a browser web, there is no option for double-sided printing in the print menu.  Here is a screenshot of what I get.  I understand there should be also a double-sided printing check box.

    I'm on a MacBook Pro OS X and I followed all instructions print double-sided, including system preferences > print & scan > Options & supplies > pilot > check "Double-sided (duplexer) printing accessory HP" (see second screenshot below) however still cannot get the print duplex option to display.  The duplexer works because I'm able to use printing from a web browser... just not another another application (for example, Adobe, Word, Excel, etc.).

    Any help/tips GREATLY appreciated.

      Adobe, the application print dialog appears... Click the printer down button to access the system print dialog box...
    2. In the print window expanded you will find next to Copies the checkbox for duplex. Select the check box.

    3. To select the connection type click the selection box below, listed as the name of the program (e.g. TextEdit)

  • Duplex printing HP Officejet Pro 8600 using Mac OSX 10.7.5

    I have OSX 10.7.5 and I recently purchased the Officejet Pro 8600. I noticed that when I choose to print from Firefox browser, I see the duplex printing option. I don't see this option when printing from Word, Excel or Adobe software.

    Is selected in system preferences, then why can't two-sided printing from these applications?

    I wanted to share what I found, in case someone else has the same questions (I got a quick help of Apple Support communities/forums).  I don't know if this applies to versions of Microsoft office, but my key learning is that the checkbox will appear not at all for these programs. You will need to set by other means.

    Microsoft 2008

    Go to the print dialog box

    Choose the submenu "Layout" (I think that this menu by default to "Copies and Pages")

    There is a "double" option, and choose 'off', "mandatory long edge" or "short edge binding.

    Once I did this and the saved settings, he worked also for Excel and Adobe.

    The only problem with Adobe, it's that you must follow these steps whenever you print. If I just hit print without following the steps below, it will not print duplex. The steps are on the following link.

    OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus, Auto Duplex paper too short. Runnig Windows 7 on Envy 17 3D t. How can I get rid of this 2nd icon, it came after I reconnected to the laptop on the USB port a day. Don't troubleshoot the icon that has yellow mark next to him. The printer is wonderful it prints beautifully. What I've done is by clicking OK on the normal icon created when the printer was installed when the message appears on short Duplesx Auto paper, I click ok and it prints fine. It bothers me that there is a second icon with a yellow mark on it. I know this isn't like that. The system finds no problem do you the troubleshooting tools.
