OfficeJet Pro 8600plus N911g: yellow-green print

Hello

Our printer has started printing Green where it should be yellow. I replaced the black and yellow inks, made many heads clean and its still the same. Is there anything else I can try to bring back the yellow?

Thank you

Lisa

Green yellow impression would be caused by cyan mixture in the yellow room of the print head.  Unfortunately, this is probably due to a defective print head and would require replacement of the print head. From what I've heard that a replacement print head is approximately $120, that also includes a set of cartridges of installation.

You could try printing a full yellow page, if the color is still the same shade of green (or becomes green) to the bottom of the page the print head is probably has a leak that will need to be replaced.  If color improves down the page then print a few yellow pages may solve the problem.

Where can I download windows drivers for the printer HP Officejet Pro 8600Plus 8?

I think I see what's happening. You have recently upgraded to Windows 8, and you don't have to uninstall and reinstall the software for your printer for the new OS. Now, nothing works as it should. Fortunately, this is a fairly simple solution. Uninstall the printer software and reinstall it using the packaging designed for Windows 8. I'll link the software below. Let me know what happens.

How can I poster print using my officejet pro 8600plus? My 8500 had this feature.

Yes, the Officejet 8500 driver works at full capacity on the Officejet 8600.

You do not remove port 8600, you just right-click on the Officejet 8600, select properties from the Printer Ports and simply find what port the 8600 uses.  After writing this down, click Cancel to quit this game.  I suggest that you let the Officejet 8600 driver installed, you can install the version with the Officejet 8500 driver and simply select the printer you want to print time.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless: Unable to print labels on my HP Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless color inkjet printer

    Hello Forum,

I don't want to appear redundant, however, I always have the same problem, cannot print on different media (for example. Labels, Matt / glossy papers, etc.) other than plain white paper. As I said in my original post (below), I tried different settings, different programs, etc., without any result. The printer does that pass through without printing media, leaving the error / blinking yellow light.

I believe that this printer is able to manage different media other than paper white just to 'stick '. Again, I ask your help to solve this problem. It is and has been, very frustrating trying to overcome this restriction of printing!

    Thank you all!

    (Original post)

I can't get my HP Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless inkjet color printer to print CD / DVD labels. I have tried various printer / paper options but the printer just feeds the media (in this case 'Fellows' brand matte CD 2-top) then spits it right back with result error amber light flashing.

Printing has a sensor that determines if the paper is loaded and feeding properly into the printer.  If you print on media that is colored or printed features we can confuse the sensor.

One thing to try - cut a strip of the sticky part of a post-it note maybe 1 "wide by 1/4".  Attach it to the top left of the sheet of labels on the side to be printed, the long side on the short side of the paper.  This will then put face down into the printer, with the band on the upper right of the tray paper.  After printing, you can remove it and reuse it for the next page.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 n911g stops and you need to restart the spooler on Win Xp

    Hello

I have an OfficeJet Pro 8600 N911g printer.  It is networked and I put the static IP address on the printer.

I have a user with about once a day to restart the Windows print spooler service so that tasks start printing.  I loaded, uninstalled and reloaded the Windows XP drivers.

Any thoughts on how to solve this problem?

    Hello

Have you used the latest version of the software on the HP site?

If not, uninstall the printer from programs > HP > printer folder and then install the latest version below:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=bi-108858-3&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en&OS=228&product=4323648&sw_lang=

I suspect also any security program which may block the network connection (assuming that by the description of problem on a single user), temporary disable any software firewall running and check if that can cause printing to stay in spool it print.

Try to run the HP print and Scan doctor, click on network > firewall help and make sure any firewall running is disabled, then follow Fiox print and check what is happening:

If still the same I guess rather the envoirnment of the OS, you can try running Microsoft Fixit to diagnose service print spooler for questions and automatically check if this can help:

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 +: OfficeJet Pro 8600 + very slow to print

We recently purchased a new MacBook.  From the beginning on this MacBook, our HP 8600 printer takes long time to start an extremetly to print.  Sometimes it prints ever.  The printer is set up wireless.  Sometimes the print area will say that is having problems connecting to the printer, but not always.

This only happens on this MaxBook.  I have an iMac and a Windows laptop, both connect to the same wireless printer.  Both of these printing devices print jobs fairly quickly.

I downloaded the new drivers.  Uninstalled and reinstalled the printer.  Restarted the printer and wireless access point.  Disabled iPV6.

Don't know what else to try.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8630: Internet connection for printer

    Hello

I recently bought a HP Officejet Pro 8630 all-in-one printer and currently it hooked to my computer via a USB cable.  Everything works fine.

I want to participate in the program of alternative to instant ink HP Service.  To do this the said program brochure that I have my printer is connected to the Internet.  I have never made a connection like that.

Currently, I don't have a cable modem wireless.  Do I need to have a cable modem wireless to connect my printer to the Internet?  If this is not the case, how can I connect my printer on my existing cable modem?

My cable modem is: Motorola SURFboard of SBV5220

    Thank you

    Mark

    Hello

Your printer needs to have an ethernet port in the back, where you can connect a LAN cable. You will need to connect a LAN cable to a free port on your current modem on the back of the printer - this should establish an internet connection.

  • The HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 does support e-print? I am running Win 7 Pro 64-bit

Can you please tell me: the HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 does support e-print?  I can't find or generate or figure out how to create an e-mail address for this printer.  Thank you.

    Hello BoPeepLamb,

8600 printer OfficeJet does support ePrint. You can access the e-mail address of printers by allowing Web Services to the main display on the printer. The icon is located on the top left corner of the screen and looks like the sheet of paper with circles behind it. Before you can enable Web Services, you must ensure that you have a valid internet connection first.

Once you have enabled Web Services, you should have a print sheet mobile printing with a printer code and the link to http://www.eprintcenter.com where you can create an account and customize your e-mail address printers.

If you have any other questions do not hesitate to reply to this message and I'll try to find an answer for you.

Unable to get the HP Solution Center to load. Have an officejet pro L7590 all-in-one connected wireless (through the router) on my new computer Windows 8 but had to deceive it calling it a direct connection.

I have a new computer with Windows 8.  I managed to get my HP officejet pro all-in-one L7590 printer connected and working with software downloaded from HP.  During installation it placed an icon on my desktop (the old format disktop I love) to the center of HP solutions, but when I try to open the Solution Center a message indicates that the installation is not complete.  When I try to install more software it brings back me to the orginal installation and indicates that the device is already installed.

I want to clarify again once my choice of installation was directly connected even if it is wireless via a router.  It was the only way I could make it work.

The Network Configuration page was just that you will find the IP address, but you have this.  It is not as important now.  Now that I've shown you a method to help you analyze let us begin the process is not easy to get the Solution Center works again.

I was very happy to find an official document on your computer Windows 8 and the solution Center.  I think this should help you when you select your operating system on this page.  It is titled "The scanning device estintrouvable and other related errors" and will be a little better explain what you need to try to get the Solution Center to work once again, I am.

Let me know if you have any questions concerning one of the steps here and I will do my best to answer those as quickly as possible. I do not know a few things to do if it does not, but it is certainly the best advice to try first.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911g cannot print wireless AirPrint or desktop/laptop

    Hello

My systems are all running Mac OS X 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion). I have a Linksys E4200 configured for 5 GHz Wireless-A and 2.4 GHz Wireless-G. For testing purposes, I have firewall of the router disabled.

    Here's what I CAN do:

-connect to the Web server for the printer (printer is correctly connected to the wireless network)

-print using ePrint (printer running mechanically)

    What I can not do:

-Install the printer in OS X

-printing of my office/computer systems portable

-printing of my devices via AirPrint

    I tried the following:

-reset the network settings on the printer

    -restart the router

    -restart all systems

    Error messages:

-System preferences print & Scan shows the printer as "near printers: Officejet Pro 8600 [CBE189].

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

Too bad! Solution found - unplug the power cord, wait 30 seconds, plug it in again. Pop, it works. (So old-school)
