OfficeJet pro l7580 printer print shows 75% smaller

Windows 7 pro 64-bit

HP p7 - 1380t

the software is ojprol7x00_full_14. Reinstalled today and the problem was not solved.

Printing is 75% smaller than it should be.

Some parameter maybe, but where?

Hi Jason,

The problem has been resolved.

Was it not the HP printer to the fault, but a program I wrote.

Once I discovered the pilots were not at fault, then I realized

my program was the culprit.

I recently downloaded the HP Officejet Pro full features (Version 14.0.0) software to my computer HP windows Vista (32 bit) and now I'm my files scanned problems - they disappear after scanning with the HP Solution Center that is installed with the new software.  I have read several posts and tried their solutions but also download all the patches available on the HP website, but whenever I try to install the patch I get a box pop up that tells me that I have not all installed components that need the fix.

Does anyone know a solution to the 14 software version?

  • Scan to network Officejet Pro L7580 printer

The printer does not recognize my computer on the network.  I can't use the analysis feature.  Windows recognizes the scanner exists but the HP software does not work.

I need this job.  I called customer support several times, sitting for hours on the Chat support, uninstalled and reinstalled the software and all without success.

I'm using an Intel computer dedicated, i.e.:

    Intel DP35DP Board

    CPU Intel 2 2.20 gig

    2 GB of ram

    Printer # is MY76C5212V

    MS Windows XP SP3

I've been round and round with HP support on that.  There must be some conflicts of software on my machine.  Can you provide a list of known conflicts in order to run through my software and solve the problem.

I might add that the other computers in the House are recognized by the printer.  The Vista machine does best with it.  I don't want to use the work around to do this, i.e. through the IE interface.  It is a bit expensive and unnecessary, method producing bad results regarding the scan image is concerned.  I need to scan photos and documents for commercial purposes.

Please do some research and provide me with real and tangable help on that.

O.K.  Here is what is the solution.  Are you ready?  Using all of your comments, combined with an Internet search for my problem, the solution lies in the trigger port and shipping.  Firstly, ICF must be set to allow "Host-name of the printer" port 9100.  Then, my Linksys router must be configured to allow the "printer name" transfer via port UDP and TCP port 9100.  Since all my computers are set to automatically receive IP, the printer must be set as such.

Restart the computer.  Install the package of software and as if by magic, all is well in the office.

So, the problem is not the software as much as it is in the installation and management of the network.  But, HP IT guys need to learn some of this stuff, so they can be better assistance in the future.

  • How can I change the margins on my hp officejet pro l7580

Some forms print have information of compliance at the bottom which is necessary to properly process the document and margins on my hp officejet pro L7580 (printer), often cut out of the bottom of the page. I need to adjust the margins on the machine itself. How can I do this? I have searched everywhere online and my manual and can't find the answer.

Unfortunately there isn't a way to set the margins on the phone itself, but you can enable the printer to print without margins (that is) that your program has full control of the border) by following the instructions in the link below:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/bpy21049

Once you have done this, you should be able to adjust the margins through your program without limitation.

What is the information that you need?

  • I have an Officejet Pro L7580 all-in-one. How do you find the printer did how many copies?

I have an Officejet Pro L7580 all-in-one.  How do I know how many copies the machine made?

Thanks again for your suggestions, which led me to the answer.

Looking more closely at the options in the HP Solution Center, which I thought I had already exhausted, I followed these links - settings, print settings, the Toolbox for printer, information, reviews, myprintmileage, source, which led me to the total number of pages, number of total jobs and many other information, which, apparently, is monitored by HP.

Thanks for the clues get me there.

  • OfficeJet pro 8000: Officejet pro 8000 prints the part of the document

Have a problem with both networking Officejet pro 8000's. If you print a paginated document 4, printing two pages and stops, then 2 minutes he feeds a white sheet of paper in the printer, the printer hangs then error light on, who need to power cycle to restart. The network is in a school, unused printers for a few weeks, before now, they both work as it should.

This problem is with a laptop with free Wi - Fi. However, even 4-page document sent to another that officejet pro 8000 prints as it should, and prints as it should when sent to a photocopier.

The network of small schools there are ten computers wired to office, after trying to print from one of them, the same problem occurs with 2 of 4 pages printing, then a white sheet, then the printer hangs. This desktop computer will also print the same document on the photocopier without problem.

Not very well where to go with this, help please!

Problem solved, simply wanted the new cartridges!, but what I do not understand why the part of a document of four pages would be absolutely fine print, all the colors print as they should, then stop and hang. Power cycle printer, exactly the same result. Exactly the same on both 8000 printers?

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500 prints incorrect color photo

My new Officejet pro 8500 prints once accuate color. But then, when I print another photo that is Lavender in color.

I restarted. I reinstalled it. The problem still persists. What else can I try?

    Gibas

    Hello Gibas,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

It might be possible that the poor quality of the image when printing with the 8500 is due to print heads. Given that you have uninstalled, restarted, etc it may be preferable to focus on them.

You can try to clean the print heads, this guide will show you the correct way to clean: "the following printhead appears to be missing or corrupt" or "the following printhead has a problem" Message displays on the all-in-one.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600: Printer does not print in color

I just got the color cartridges refilled at Costco. Now, my printer does not print in color.  I printed out a diagnosis and cartridges are showing that they are full.  The actual color of magenta is a deep rose, so I know that some of the magenta is crossing. Cyan (blue) and yellow printed black on diagnostic tests.  I know that Costco filled cartridges with the appropriate color because I can see the color on/in the cartridge.  Suggestions on what to try? • Problem with the HP Officejet Pro 8500 printer: clean the print heads each time it is turned on

    Hello everyone,

the printer HP all-in-one Officejet Pro 8500 (A909a - product n. CB022A) clean the print heads whenever I turn it on. This problem affects any HP Officejet Pro 8500 printer, it is not a problem only of this one I bought. It is a boring bug and annoying because each power clean print heads on involves two bad disadvantages:

    1. waste of ink (each heads cleaning process consumes little ink);
    2. too much time (2-3 minutes) to prepare the printer after plugging.

I upgraded my printer with the latest firmware available on the HP site (firmware ver. DLM1FN1006BR), but the bug is still present.

    At this point, I ask:

    1. There is a way (or procedure) to disable automatic cleaning this useless to all power on?
    2. Can we communicate with the HP engineers or tell me how to contact directly one of them to indicate the bug and request a new firmware updated?

Please don't tell me to leave the printer on all the time or that the printheads to each cleaning power is normal behavior! Where then are power and ink savings claimed for this printer model?

I hope that a solution to this problem. Thanks in advance to everyone will help me!

Maintenance when the printer is turned on is normal and is required to keep the printheads in good health (not blocked). See here for more information.

With respect to energy savings, the printer automatically goes to low power mode when the don't feel not for awhile.  It is not necessary turn the unit on to save energy.

OfficeJet pro 8600 print a single vertical black line when using the charger

    Hi @realestatejeann,

I see that you have found one black vertical line when using the ADF. With a few steps, we should be able to solve this problem.

Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

Here is a document for the cleaning of the glass Strip and the underside of the scanner cover.

Vertical stripes, lines or streaks on Copies, faxes or scans.
