Officejetpro 8500, HP solution center update, impossible to install complete

The updater referenced in the topic can not install update, time unable to find this file.

Cannot install the update, missing file - C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\7zS12F1\OJP8500vA909_Full_13\setup\SolutionCenter.msi

It seems that the file would have been included in the original installation, however it is no longer available, why I have no ideaa, lost corrupted?

Where can I find tis file?

(1.) what is the operating system you install it on? Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit

2.) is from the original disk or download? The file that will not be installed, is a download of automatic update of HP.

3.) there are several printers of the 8500 series can you tell me who it is?

Printer all-in-one HP Officejet Pro 8500 - A909a printer is this model (it is connected to my local network)

Printers HP Officejet Pro 8500 all-in-One - A909b

All-in-one printer, HP Officejet Pro 8500 Prime - A909n

All-in-one HP Officejet Pro 8500 wireless printer - A909g

These updates are provided by HP, I deliver, but not auto installed. So, I decide to do the installation. Since the apparent failure to install an update, I downloaded the HP Print & Scan Doctor 2013-07-12, worm: 4.0.5.78m and have successfully run this utility, find no problem. By date, I think it is the update that has not been installed, however it seems it has now dlownloaded and works correctly. Also, when I open the HP utility silutions and select search the udates, he replied "no new updates available.

I see no reason to pursue this issue. Thank you.

Have a HP Officejet Pro L7590 all-in-one.  Under Vista 64-bit.

Updated my Center of solutions for version 14.  Now when I scan something, it scans OK then when I save to file it away.  Looked on the HP site and found Update critical for this problem, however, the critical update is to version 13 and when I try to run it it tells me I need not and will not continue.

Also: (maybe something to do with the problem) when using the / opening of the solution Center, when I goes to the buttons "ScanPicture" or "Scan a Document" and then click on "Change settings" there is nothing in the drop-down list for the ' Scan To: ' section.

Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times.  Does not work.

    Hello

Two questions actually related to each other.

    Please, try the following:

Make sure that the HP Solution Center is closed.

    Enter C:\Program Files (x 86) \HP\Digital Imaging\bin and search for the file hpqxmlul.dll .

Move this file to a temporary folder elsewhere as your office, just to backup porpuses.

Download and save the following file to your desktop, remove it by double-clicking, a new hpqxmlul.dll file appears on your desktop.

    Move this file in C:\Program Files (x 86) \HP\Digital Imaging\bin.

Today the launch of the HP Solution Center and test analysis, check any changes with the sweep for list as well.

Please let me know of any changes.

  • HP Solution Center is no longer installed for OfficeJet Pro 8500 A909

    Hi all

I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 A909 running on a PC with Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit).

I can't pinpont when the problem started, but I think it's after a Windows Update.

For some reason any printer stopped working all together. I downloaded the drivers for the device (OJP8500vA909_Basic_14) and installed them. The printer works now, but the HP Solution Center is no longer on my computer.

The installation disc for the printer will not work. He said that "the operating system on this computer is not supported. The installation cannot continue until this is resolved. "I guess it's because the computer is much newer than the printer, but I'm not sure.

Can someone help me install the HP solution on my computer center?

    Thank you!

    Hello!

You can download the software from our Web site. The software that contains the center of solution would be the full feature software and driver.

Uninstall the base driver that you have installed and install the drivers you want to download.

    Thank you.

  • Software OffficeJet Pro 8500 HP Solution Center not supported on Windows 7

Just upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 and when I tried to reload the CD with the HP Solution Center, he told me that he only works on XP or Vista.  It is an application very used on my PC.  Is there an upgraded version that I can download that will run on Windows 7.  The wireless printer works fine on Windows 7 but without the goodies from the Solution Center.

There are a few different versions of the Officejet Pro 8500, but to make easier the task that I have linked below to the page where you can find your specific model and download the drivers and any software for it.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 photo Solution Center scanning problem

    Hi, first post.

My Officejet Pro 8500 a909a works very well, except for a strange question. Using HP Solution Center software, I can scan documents and fax very well. But, when I try to scan a photo, it ignores the analysis and the image displayed in the Panel that opens. But it is 'frozen' and I can't do anything like save, edit, print, etc. However, I discovered that if I click on the only function that works, the help button at the bottom right, the popup help screen. I select one of the choices on the left side and voila, the Solution of the center of the screen comes alive and is fully functional. In this case no matter what settings I use (resolution, etc.).

I tried Support cat HP a couple of times, but not yet a solution. I am currently waiting for another agent in the Chat.

Everyone has faced something like this, or someone would try to solve the puzzle?

    Thank you

    Ray K.

Well, I tried a search and found a solution here: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/psg/board/message?board.id=Software&message.id=1876&query.id=225242#M1876

Not perfect, because I need larger font size, but it does not work.

    Thank you

  • Important notice - please put Lenovo Solution Center update

Lenovo has released a new version of the application (LSC) Lenovo Solution Center v2.4.003 which addresses a number of potential problems and bug fixes, some of which could adversely affect the performance of your system.

(Newer versions can be released since - just follow the link to get the latest version.)  The point of this pinned post is to alert users that you can be stuck on a version that would not automatically update correctly, and we wanted to communicate that number and in the chronology of the version where it is fixed)

Many of these issues have been discussed elsewhere in this forum.  It is highly recommended for all users upgrade to this new version as soon as possible.

Some of the problems that it solves understands that:

    • Excessive event log records
    • LSC_CLI.exe crashes
    • Excessive User Account Control (UAC) invites on limited user accounts
    • Many other bug fixes have been implemented

Most versions of LSC will prompt to update themselves when newer versions are detected.  There was a bug in the version 2.2 which affected the ability of automatic update - it would download and appear to be updated, but could not actually complete the update.  This problem has been corrected in version 2.3 or later, but the customers who have version 2.2 should download and update to fix this problem manually.  In order to be proactive, Lenovo adding the last versions system update catalogs to provide another automated way to update the clients that can still be on version 2.2, but some customers cannot make use of updated system, or may have chosen to not install the LSC if offered updated package.

Visit LSC on our support site to download the version for your OS or if you have already installed LSC and icon appears in your toolbar, please launch and allow it to check the updates.

If you go to the link provided by brand, you will always have the last ICL:

""Go to the LSC on our support site to download the version for your OS or if you have already installed LSC and the icon appears in your toolbar, please launch and allow it to check the updates. ""

    I hope this helps!

  • Solution center appears to be installed, but is not

    Hello
My sistem of the device is Windows 7 ultimate 64 SP1 update until February 1, 2014.
I can't find the "solution center" on my computer for my HP Deskjet F4280, I, ve tried so many times to reinstall all software downloaded from the HP website (DJ_AIO_03_F4200_NonNet_Full_Win_WW_130_140), but it's really impossible to find the solution center to scan my documents. Whenever I have reinstall the software seems central to this solution is already installed but is not.
Please help me, I don't really know what to do and do not want to reinstall windows just to scan my documents.

By myself, I found the solution.

I had to manually uninstall the HP software... unbeliveble! It is a very unpleasant thing to do...

I really don't understand why HP does not want to uninstall it from my computer.

In any case, you have to go in the directory windows temp (%temp%) and if you have a ram disk as I have, you will need to uninstall the software that, without reason, is no unistall for real and install it again because the temp directory will be reset to zero whenever you turn off the computer

do not close windows to go into the temp directory

    my computer is R:\temp

Copy the directory starting with 7z and paste it into your desktop

    now go to util\ccc and uninstall using Uninstall_L1, Uninstall_L2, Uninstall_L3, and Uninstall_L4

After that you can install by using DJ_AIO_03_F4200_NonNet_Full_Win_WW_130_140

Why should I waste my time to manually uninstall software? don't really understand

  • Solution Center does not correctly install Windows 7 64 bit

I've looked everywhere on the forum about this but still do not have a resolution.

I have a HP Photosmart C7280, I've had two or three years.  When it is connected to an XP machine it worked fine.  I have since bought a new PC running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit, and although I tried over and over, install, uninstall and reinstall the software from the HP Solution Center, I can't work.  I really need to have the feature analysis of the Cluster Solution that I need to scan documents up to 100 pages.

Is it possible that this software is not compatible with Windows 7 64 bit?  I downloaded the software later on the site of HP and my PC works always the latest updates of Windows 7.

If I can't get this resolved, I'll have to buy a new printer all-in-one and believe me it will not be a HP this time.  Help, please.

Well I'm done chasing my tail.  It is clear that this is never going to work.  I tried to do the installation on another machine in 64-bit Windows 7 (gateway GT5228) which was a clean install and never had a HP product installed on it before and she's not exactly the same way.  I also tried a XP operating system installation and it works beautifully.  So my conclusion is that developers at HP simply no interest to this provision on Windows 7 64 bit, or they are simply too incompetent to make it work properly.  I am a software consultant in real life, and I do installations on servers is not as if I'm inexperienced.  I decided to buy another printer, but after this experience, it will not be a HP.  It is not just that a printer that works very well mechanically must be thrown on the junk-pile because the software cannot be upgraded successfully.  HP is not very favourable to the environment, creation of garbage where it could be avoided.  Sad and disappointed.

  • OfficeJet J4680: HP Solution Center has stopped working with Windows 10

From today, after the last version 10 of Windows Update to the HP Solution Center software won't start/open.  After clicking to open, there is a beep and nothing.  No dialogue error or indication that something does not, but the program does not start.

He had worked all the way up through yesterday with the latest versions of the Solution Center and Windows 10 installed.  The only change was an update today which says that it was just an update to the flash player security.

I uninstalled and reinstalled twice, checked to make sure that my private network settings were OK, all to nothing done.  I need it to scan documents.

    Anyone with ideas?

There is a problem with the last Windows security update.  It disables some flash programs, including the HP Solutions Center uses to load.

    Here's a solution:

Enter "View installed updates" in the search bar of Windows.  It will show you an option in Control Panel.

    Click the appropriate option.

Select the "Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB3132372)" and an uninstall option will appear next to the drop-down list to organize.

Click on uninstall and work through all the guests.

Once uninstalled, the HP Solution Center will work.
