Offset clip (sequences do not match)

Hi, can you help me plase in my doubt? I can't put 2 sequences (or videos) all this match; Here's an example: I create 2 sequences with the same settings. In one, then I put a video which original resolution is low, but I click "change sequence settings" when the clip of mismatching window appears.  The other video has a resolution of hig, and when I put him on the timeline, click also in "setting of the sequence" then he fit my project settings. Here'S THE PROBLEM: when I try to put the 2 set of sequences (or videos) in the same, a doent match with each other. Low video resolution gets very tiny with huge black borders.  What I am doing wrong? I hope that I was clear in my question, its simple to understand, I want to just put 2 videos in order without one with as low resolution gets huge black borders around it, that's all. Thanks in advance.

Wizarddamacumba wrote:

When I do that, change the scale, I get a good result, but my main doubt is about joining od diferrente resolution of video sequences without having black borders. There is no way that I can do?

Sorry, but no NLE I've ever met ever there will allow you to do. NLe all present different resolution of videos imported - and clips which the resolution is higher that the resolution of the sequence (or timeline) appears strongly increased and heavily cropped. Similarly, the clips whose resolution is much smaller than the resolution of the sequence will appear tiny and "gutterboxed". There is absolutely no way at all whatsoever automatically scale different resolution clips in any NLE.

And I think you're using the term 'sequence' not properly: in terms of Adobe, a sequence is a chronology and of any content to the breast. (Although you can nest several different sequences in a new sequence.)

  • Parameters specified by step do not match the settings of the sequence

I just upgraded from Teststand 4.1.1 to 4.2 and have encountered this

problem during the review of the existing sequence files.

When I open a file of sequence, select any stage of type sequence call, which calls another sous-séquence

in a different sequence file, I learned that the parameters used do not correspond to those required.

To be more precise, in the settings area of the stage, a red exclamation symbol appears at the side of the

subsequence called step, and the ToolTip is displayed when the mouse pointer is

hovered over the exclamation point States:

"Parameters specified by the step do not match the settings of the sequence."

The ToolTip goes on to explain how to solve this problem by clicking on the exclamation symbol.

I find also that by deselecting the "Prototype using sequence" tab in step Settings\Module

    solves the problem.

When the sequence is executed, no problems occur with execution, the test performs correctly.

Is it possible to clear this error for each sequence call not in one operation?

    Thank you

    Gary.

My apologies to attach a file of sequence buggy. I forgot to pass a parameter to the LoadPrototype method to preserve existing settings. I have attached a corrected version of the sequence file. I changed to update SequenceCall not only because of potential problems, reloading the DLL prototypes.

I would try to explain why you see cela TestStand 4.2. The additional results feature, we added to TestStand 4.1 needs to know what parameters are entered, output and input/output (i.e. what settings is pass by reference). Before TestStand 4.1, step of calling sequence does not store this information but rather dynamically got it and it appears in the column how go. Now that we store the past by reference with the step option, you can have an inconsistency between the option stored in step and the current setting of the sequence called. This inconsistency affects only additional results and not execution. TestStand 4.1, the sequence editor to not warn you on these inconsistencies. We have added the TestStand 4.2 warning so that you will have the correct information for additional results.

When TestStand 4.1 or 4.2 load a file of sequence from a pre-version 4.1 version, TestStand sets cervical optionally reference true for all parameters in the call sequence steps. This is why you see the warning for any sequence calling step created TestStand 3.5 If no parameters are not passing by reference. You can also see the problem if you change the option collar called a reference parameter in the sequence.

Since then, I can't work increasingly with the virtualbench. It still gives the same error: device error: sequence contains no matching element.

What it wronf what should I do?

Note: I've read a similar question, but it seems that the error missing somehow for some unexplained reason. So, there was actually no mentioned of solution for this problem.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hello Zach Hindes,

Your idea has solved my problem.

After the zero (button at the rear of the instrument virutalbench) I could successfully start the application. The error message disappeared and I could interactively use the instrument interactively.

I reinstalled the software on my PC (Win7) and it runs smoothly also.

The solution is so simple that I wonder that I wasn't thinking about him in the first place...

Then, I suggest that developers could add the suggestion to reset the error message. I am sure, that would help a lot of people.

  • Why do write can not be performed because the number of data channels does not match number of channels in the task.

    Possible reasons:

Scripture cannot be performed because the number of data channels does not match number of channels in the task.

When writing, provide data for all channels in the task. You can also change the task so that it contains the same number of channels as the written data.

    Number of data channels: 1

The DAQmx vi writing gives me the error. If I run a single channel, isn't a problem. Multichannel gives me error.

You are funny! Why tie yourself to work VI (single channel) instead of one that gives you errors (multichannel)?

(If your car does not work, you bring car your wives to the mechanic, right!)

What is the exact text in the multichannel 'physical channels' when you do the AO control?

    Lama says:

I did a sequence to ensure that each function has been run in the correct order. Wouldn't a race condition.

All you have to do is wire the 'start of task' error at the entrance of error of the DAQ assistant and then back to 'stop task' and things will run in order. Guaranteed! Think the stream! Everything else can run in parallel or the order is irrelevant.

Make sure your settings to completely sequence corresponding to the size of the image file - and all other things except to change the dimension of height. So remember to slide images of this sequence, using 'set to the size of the image' and see if it works better.

  • The column that does not match when comparing two records

    Hi all

We try to compare two tables and find the differences. So if two records (1 of each table) have same PK but not always matching because of some columns, then we would display this columnname. For example:

Why you don't want no matter what exit for pk = 2?  Property2 does not correspond either to pk.

What happens if the 2 columns (or more) do not match?  The following query would produce a list delimited, such as ' parents; PROPERTY2 '.

    WITH got_mismatch AS

    (

    SELECT pk

    , CASE WHEN t1.parent <> t2.parent THEN '; PARENT' END

    || CASE WHEN t1.child <> t2.child THEN '; CHILD ' END

    || CASE WHEN t1.properry1 <> t2.property1 THEN '; PROPERTY1 ' END

    || CASE WHEN t1.properry2 <> t2.property2 THEN '; PROPERTY2 ' END

    AS the offset

    FROM table_1 t1

    JOIN table_2 t2 ON t2.pk = t1.pk

    )

    SELECT pk

    , SUBSTR (incompatibility, 3) AS column_mismatch

    OF got_mismatch

    WHERE mismatch IS NOT NULL

    ;

If you would care to post CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements for your sample data, and then I could test this.

The query above does not count NULL values as inadequate.  If you want that, the same basic approach will work, but you can use DECODE instead of <> to compare columns.

What happens if a pk exist in a table, but not the other?  You want an outer join, where I used an inner join above.

  • How to convert a jpeg sequence in a film clip sequence?

    Hello

I love the first and I have this problem.

How to convert a jpeg sequence in a film clip sequence?

I have a slideshow to JPEG, but it is best to have as video clip in the timeline. so I can work well.

    Sorry for my English

So you're on the right track.

You have a video on video 1 to talk to you, and then, on the Video 2, you superimpose pictures of the things you're talking about. It also seems that you try to image effects in the image with the photos.

If this is the case, try to drag the pictures in the active project on the monitor window, rather than the timeline. This will add pictures as picture-in-picture on your main video.

If that is not accomplish what you are wanting to do, you will need to place and size the photos one at a time.

  • Imported sequence does not pick up changes to the Original

When I use sequences nested with a project, any changes made to the original sequence is automatically reflected where it is embedded/included.

For example, within a project, I have a sequence called "soccer". I understand not (NEST) this sequence in another sequence called "seq1".

If I make changes to the "soccer", "seq1" automatically resumes to these changes (even if changes in the duration of "soccer" are NOT automatically picked up by "seq1", which is really annoying, but that's a topic for another day).

Then, I created a new project and imported the sequences. This new project was "soccer" and "seq1" and everything worked very well.

However, when I made changes to the "soccer", I was surprised to learn that although these changes was taken over by "seq1" in the original draft, they were NOT taken over by "seq1" in the new draft.

In other words, it seemed that the import function makes a copy of the sequences from other projects, but this is a read-only snapshot... future changes to the original sequence are not reflected in the project in which they were imported. Which seems strange since it kind of goes against the idea of sequences. At the very least, it seems inconsistent.

I do something wrong, or is that just how things work? Is it possible to obtain sequences imported to update without re - import?

    Heya Ed:

When importing, the sequences of a project become sequences of project B (as if they had always been part of the project B initially).  So, project B is never look at a project for changes.

This seems like a good feature request (feature request/Bug Report Form).  It could be 'Live nesting' or 'Live project Liaison.  I guess that's something that Adobe could be implemented via dynamic links.

Or, if nothing else, a "sequence with other project sequence replace" type feature to speed up the process.

Although, for example, it could become difficult.  Expect changes in project B is displayed in the project (in other words, be a reciprocity)?

It might be more efficient to have the behavior of Final Cut Pro 1.25 7.0.3 was: open several project files at once and copy / paste sequences between projects (as well as bins, Master Clips, Clips of affiliation, subclips, titles, markers, etc.).

  • Create a new digital ID - passwords do not match

When you create a new digital ID in Adobe Acrobat X on the Windows 7 computer, after you enter the new file name where the ID should be stored and password, I get a message box: "passwords do not match '.

I gathered the following information about the creation of digital IDs in Acrobat:

Acrobat help who says: "Please enter a password for the digital ID file. For each sequence of keys, password meter evaluates your password and tells you the strength of password using color patterns. Reconfirm your password".

A post on the forum who says: "6. now enter the password in two places by following the instructions."

I also watched a video how the person has been inserted the password when you create a new digital ID, she had two text boxes to enter. Screenshot of the video is here:

    sign.JPG

But when I try to do the same thing, I have only a single field to enter the password. Here is a screenshot of my computer after clicking "Finish":

    sign3.JPG

Does anyone know how to make the second password field displayed, so I can confirm and get rid of the message "password do not match", and finally to create the digital ID?

I just had the same problem, I am using Acrobat X Pro.  I found this post and how the form is supposed to watch so much when I had typed my password in the "password:" box, I pressed Tab and the slider disappeared, I then re-typed my password, assuming that he had gone to the "Confirm password:" box which is not visible and then press Finish.  It worked for me and I was able to create a digital ID. Might work for you too.  Good luck.

  • video copied to DVD does not match project that I can see

    Good,

No doubt another basic question, but I can't find an answer in the Adobe manual. I just discovered (after burning 8 copies of the same file) that the film on the DVD does not match what I see on the screen of project. The drop-down list to organize > project resembles what I want except that he seems to have the original avi file that I edited later as well as the changed file. The timeline seems correct. The timeline seems correct. I tried to eliminate the 'markers', but there was none to remove - the drop down menu gave me the ability to add markers. A Council, is that the DVD is picking up a model of menu that I played with, but could not get to work and then deleted. I ended up using the title screen very basic with black video in the high title of range drop-down list menu rather than the option model to change. I see the new title in the scene and timelines. Yet once the previous question just posted, I don't see anything in the screen clip
(e.g., boxes of th) under 'organize '. In addition, the video clip on the DVD appears truncated by about half of playing time.

At one point I have only the old menu design clip shows just below the montor screen could display but could not know how to remove.

  • PrintShop Pantone color does not match me?

    Hi all

I sent a file in a silkscreen who returned to me a model of how it will look on the bag.

Problem is that blue that they show is not all blue, I sent.

the logo uses a 298 PMS and that they have listed in their PMS 298 layout as well.

I eliminated the possibility that our monitors appear radically different and another that I can't explain the radical difference between the colors.

Someone at - it never run into this kind of problem?

It's pretty common.  The only way you will be able to see a model is when they go on the press.  Most screen printers use plastisol inks and they custom mix to be closer to the PMS 298; but there is no Plastisol Pantone 298 as offset printers can order for a color of the task.  So, you have to either have make them the screen and print a sample using the mixture of Plastisol (generally a medium blue and white mix) and they send it FedEx or you agree with anything, they sent to you.  But, if you do the latter, they will not match the 298.  You should certainly hold an approval of the press of the day as they inked work.  At a minimum, you can have them send you a flat sample real stock (minimum 3) of their actual ink mixture that is put in the dryer.  Then you can decide which combination is the closest to your 298.  This really has nothing to do with CMYK or what type of JPG, they sent you.  It goes much further in terms of accuracy and get your money.  If the display store mixer ink hotshot, you have nothing to fear.  But, without a doubt get their hands on them and see what they can deliver based on a sample of real ink.  Plastisol has a few Blues choice and maybe have a standard blue that comes close to 298.  Another question to ask.
