OJ4580 install on Windows 7 64-bit using OJJ4500_full_13.exe fails, 'No driver found'

Install an OJ4580 on Windows 7 64 bit home edition premium installs all the junk, Center solution, the Manager of documents etc., and then told me there is no driver for the printer in the program that I just downloaded on the website of HP.  Very funny HP, now where the real install program?

Hello

It seems more likely that spawn something wrong with installation.

We will try these steps and let me know if that can help you:

  1. Make sure the printer is powered on and connected to your PC.
  2. Click on the start menu and type %temp%.
  3. Open the Temp folder in the search results.
  4. Click CTRL + A to select all files and delete them, no need to worry about delete files as all the content of this file is temporary.
  5. Launch the installation files once more and allow the extraction complete.
  6. You will find a new folder in the temp folder, starting with 7Z.
  7. Open the folder, and then open the subfolder named as the model of the printer until you see the content of the whole installation.
  8. Right-click the address bar and select copy the address.
  9. Go to control panel > devices and printers.
  10. Right-click in the background area, and then click Device Manager.
  11. You will find the printer listed under peripheral Bus USB or other section controllers.
  12. Make a right-click on the name of the printer and select Update driver software.
  13. Select Browse my computer for driver software.
  14. Paste the file copied into the box and click Next.
  15. Follow the instructions on the screen, which should point the operating system to use the correct browser and the installation should appear and complete.

Please let me know if that can help solve the problem,

(64-bit capable) 32 bit Vista Home Premium... I can do a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit professional?... from a flash drive?... to change the boot order?... or at all?

    Hello

That's right; with Vista Home Premiun upgrade paths are for Windows 7 Home Premium or Ultimate.

It is one of the reasons why you should do a clean install.

The other reason is that you can NOT put 32-bit to 64-bit.

You need a clean install to do.

Follow these steps before you install or buy Windows 7:

Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.

If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.

Can we install windows vista 32 bit OS on a computer that is pre installed with windows 7 64-bit OS?

@ Ken... I tried installinng windows vista by using the recovery disk that will get a customer with the computer dell laptop... and then he was trying to install vista on my computer... It works fine when installing files, but it is and stucks where he says 'finish installation' and he won't do anything after that... I tried to restart my computer and I could see Microsoft coportation logo and then my computer stucks to this screen and wont connect in... not sure what exactly to do... by the ways for your reply thanks

You cannot use recovery discs to install with, if not for the exact model computer that you install.  You need a full installation detail of the model of Vista operating system you want to install since you don't downgrade your operating system to a system that offers no right of demotion.
  • Windows 7 64 bit using 3 GB of 8 GB RAM when idle.

I've noticed recently that Windows 7 64 bit using 3 GB of RAM slowed.  When I start first of all, the use of the RAM is about 1.2 GB or more.  However, after that my computer has been for some time, that number slips slowly up to 3 GB without me all other running programs.  I thought it could be virus/spyware/malware, so I formatted and did a new install.  The same day as the new installation, I noticed the same behavior.

Is this normal?  Windows 7 is recommended to use 3GB 8 GB inactive?

Thanks in advance for any help!

My issue was not with Windows 7 using large amounts of RAM "at random".  The question I saw consisted of RAM usage to leave about 1 GB and slowly creeping up to 3 GB and stay there until I rebooted.

Through several days of trail and error, I found the problem.  In general, I use a download manager to download files (free download manager, FDM).  There is apparently a problem with FDM and Windows 7 I have observed that the question of the RAM with FDM run and I have yet to observe with FDM, no matter what I do.  Either way, I used this same version of FDM Windows XP and never had any problems with the use of the RAM.  Therefore, I'm not sure if it's a FDM problem or a problem with running on Windows 7 FDM (although my experience with FDM and XP leads me to believe that there is a problem with FDM running on Windows 7).
Without FDM running Windows 7 RAM use is between 880 MB and 1.5 GB.  Everyone know the RAM on this amount use likely has several processes that run in the background as Windows 7, when idle, should never require more than that.
  • Try to get a USB cable to installed on Windows 7 (64 bit) series.

I try to get a USB cable to installed on Windows 7 (64 bit) series. Radio Shack model: 26-949. The cable works fine in XP. I tried Radio Shack, FTDI drivers prolific, but to no avail. When I try to load the drivers, it does not recognize the device. When I plug in the device, instead of motorhomes up as a COM port, it appears as "another device-USB-Serial Controller." I completely restored Windows (re-formatted hard drive, reinstalled Windows), but none of the drivers I found works with Windows 7 (64-bit).

    Hi BUBBA211,

Thank you for using Microsoft Windows forum.

Check if your USB device is compatible in the Windows 7 Compatibility Center : http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/default.aspx

Doesn't seem to be compatible with Windows 7 64-bit edition.

Contact the manufacturer because they are the best people to answer your question.

In the meantime, run your USB device compatibility mode.

Follow the steps from the link to the older in this version of Windows programs : http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/Make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows

  • How to uninstall Windows 7 32 bit or get the clean install of Windows 7 64 bit to work properly.

Today, I bought and installed windows 7 32 bit as an upgrade from vista 32-bit, shortly after I spoke to my friend and he told me that I could have used the disk for 64-bit and Windows 7 64 bit instead, the problem now is that I can't find a way to remove windows 7 32 bits using other methods I've seen here as the file Windows.old, it isn't here. Also I cannot perform a clean Windows 7 32-bit to windows 7 64 bit installation because when I insert the disk it says that I need to boot from the disk, so I tried then whenever he says failed to load. IM fine with doing a clean install and losing what I have, because I have them the settings and files saved externally already so no need to save again.

    Thank you very much

to get the drivers for my motherboard since my motherboard is used and came with no driver
ultimately my PC does not claim any audio drivers, ive went into the bios and the same group leader to get sounds and weeks of googeling and research and still no luck and desperately need help to get the sound to my PC

all your help has been very useful and instructive for the future of the resolution of this problem, but in the end, no audio drivers are compatible because the author of this motherboard is the audio drivers for the version of windows 7. I have audio now because my friend gave me an extra sound card laying around. Thank you to all who tried to help out me :)

  • Can I do a fresh install of Windows 7 Home and use the old product key?

    Hello

I got a laptop from a former employer who removed the hard drive before give me the computer.

I installed a new hard drive and you want to do a fresh install.

The previous operating system was Windows 7 Pro OA Enterprise Edition and I have the product key for it.

Can I do a fresh install of Windows 7 Home and use the old product key?

and after that I still increases to 10 Windows using the same product key?

    Concerning

    Regrow72

If you have plans to upgrade to Windows 10 Home, I would skip trying to reinstall Windows 7 and go directly to Windows 10.

You can use your family Windows 7 product key to install Windows 10, learn how:

How to install and activate Windows 10 using your Windows 7 or Windows 8 product key

Step 1: How to download official Windows 10 ISO files

Step 2: how: perform a clean installation of Windows 10

If you are experiencing problems activating Windows 10, see:

Activate your Windows 10 license with Microsoft Chat support

I recommend to go to Windows 10 now while you can, because Microsoft will stop the free upgrade offer at the end of July:

If you still want to reinstall Windows 7 Home Premium, please see:

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

    I thought about it:

    1. Download ftp://ftp.thrustmaster.com/accessories/pc/hotas/exe/HOTASCOUGAR/2007_HCO_VISTA_64_RC1.exe (Vista for their Cougar Joystick driver)
    2. Make a click on the file and choose Run as Vista Sp2 compat mode and run as admin.

  • Can I use a product key UPGRADE from 32-bit Windows 7 to a new clean install of Windows 7 64-bit?

In 2009, I upgraded my laptop from Vista to Windows 7 32 bit. This laptop recently died and is no longer in use.

I am building a new computer and I want to install it on Windows 7 64 bit (there no initial operating system because it is a made to measure machine).
Can I install Windows 7 64 bit on the new machine and then use the old product key, that I received in 2009, even though it was a upgrade for the 32-bit product key?

If its a version upgrade, the answer is no.

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

Have you checked other discussions regarding the installation of TEMPRO? You can find many useful comments there.

Before you start a lengthy discussion, more information would be interesting.

  • Re: Satellite L650/0E8 - clean install with Windows 7 64 bit

    Hello.

I recently bought a [Toshiba L650/0E8 laptop | http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/products/notebooks/satellite/l650/psk1ja-0e8017] and accidentally installed the 32-bit version of Windows 7.

I saved an image of "recovery" from my computer in 4 DVD-R using Toshiba Recovery Media Creator. I need to use Adobe Master Collection CS5, but this requires the 64-bit edition to use first Pro CS5 and After Effects CS5. I've put together by reading some articles on the net that I have to do a 'clean' install, but as I've always had a technician set up my computer and have never used a Toshiba laptop before, I'm unaware on how to backup all my files, programs, drivers, etc. before reinstall Windows 7 to a 64-bit version.

-What do these recovery DVD? Is there anywhere I can download the software/drivers for the 64-bit version Toshiba? I apologize if these questions sound really stupid. Honestly, I'm rather confused as to what to do.

    Hey,.

First of all I have to say it s even though you created the Toshiba recovery disc as mentioned in the user manual. :)
Some other users here forget it because they don t read their user's manual.

Anyway, with this record, you can restore the pre-installed Windows version (Windows 7 64 bit) with all the drivers and tools. That means you n t need additional drivers and Toshiba, all tools will be installed automatically. You get out of adjustment of the rear housing.

But if you use the Toshiba Recovery disk it will wipe the entire HARD drive, then you will need to make a backup of all your important files that you should always after installing Windows.
This is why I would recommend an external HARD drive. They offer a lot of space to save all your data and with some models, you also backup software, but you can also use the built-in Windows backup tool, it s also nice and works well.

If you have any other questions, please let us know! ;)

  • OfficeJet 4630: anyone can print reliaby with Officejet 4630 under Windows 10 (64-bit) using wireless?

I have a couple of PCs.

    Both run Windows 10 (64-bit).

An upgrade from 8.1 64-bit. The other is Windows 7 ultimate (64 bit).

I bought Officejet 4630 at the end of September.

So far I have not been able to print from a reliable PC at all.

Sometimes maybe a page can be printed, but if I try the next page. The print queue seems to get hung.

Worse, on a PC (Win7 64-bit upgrade), I can not connect with USB at all.

Immediately after installing the driver, it fails to "print test page"? What gives?

(I have not tried the USB connection with other PCs through the situation. He's far away and so connected via radio.)

Strangely enough, it's the HP printing diagnostic seems to work perfectly. It prints the test page.

But, after a week of Calvary and see how works the test via the web interface, I now have the feeling that

HP diagnostics program simply sends a command that causes the printer to print a test page to itself, and not

through the path of ordinary driver through what print ordinary application data. It can be found.

Due to the failure of printing with a USB connection, I asked local HP support for replacement t

    hinking that unit was bad.

However, the replacement arrived today, but the same symptom!

    Agah.

I'm afraid that HP screwed royally here, but worse yet, it doesn't seem to be aware of the problem in the light of some

Reviews of so-called unconscious support people!

If someone has this printer works reliably on windows 10 64 - bit

Please let us know what you were doing. (although the chance that someone with perfect condition watch Forum HP may be low. You are posting and I read this forum because of problems...)

-How you installed the driver (from which source)

    -which tweaks you did.

I tried to install the OJ4630_198 and the driver is updated to Windows.

Windows Update seems to be a little better, but still stuck print jobs are seen after a few

tests and unnecessary. (Initially because of this apparent initial success, I thought that the problem was limited

so a PC, but now I think that both PC evenly suffer failure).

So far, I tried to change the PORT to a fixed TCP/IP address port (which sometimes seems to be feasible: sometimes not.) I was not able to understand why. Maybe the difference between HP driver or Windows update)

Sometimes after the Ministry of port, the first printing time works, but the

next print does not work.  It remains in the queue.

This has been driving me crazy...

If person not steps forward with the installation of reliable work (10, 64-bit windows), I think I'm going for it back to HP, although the initial cooling period has expired from a legal point of view, I'll see if I can convince the support contact.

I bought HP printers only over the years. They lasted well and worked like a charm, and the black ink was really nice.

After that, I can't printers recomment the HP to my friends more.

    TIA

[Driver in Deskjet 6980 works for printing with capricious 4630]

    Under improved Windows 10, too!

I checked it after upgrading my PC under Windows 7 64-bit of Windows 10.

After a few false starts, however, some programs are missing 'Dropbox' "Norton Internet Security" (?)

sort: I downloaded the binary Moose and once I let the Installer run again, they picked up the proper

configuration of the previous installation and started running.

I needed to tweak 'Register windows' but when I tried to run 'regedit' something 'Extended attributes are '.

inconsistent"and any program that requires administrative privilege would begin: maybe Dropbox and Norton Internet

Security has failed because of this issue. Surprisingly, I could fix this by restoring the default Windows theme.

(In my previous attempt to update, I put it to something Bing, a jazzy theme on the Japanese season, or something.

Affected and surprising finished showing 'Extended attributes are incompatible' (or you may need to

reset the sound theme as well. YMMV.) I raised this strange questions after the upgrade just in case

These problems are related to the Deskjet 6980 under Windows 7 64-bit driver installation before upgrading to Windows 10.

Somehow, however, the previous installation of the driver instance 4630 seems to have disappeared (maybe I deleted it before

the upgrade, I don't know.) So I install driver 4630 for * SCANNING * purposes only.

    FAX can wait a while.

Finally, some working environment for Officejet 4630 with using the Deskjet 6980 driver for printing

    is being created.

    TIA
