OMB script type timestamp data

Hi all

I want to recover the precision "seconds" of data type timestamp in a table. Then, I want to get this information into a flat file.
Now, I have this:

and I get the following error:
The seconds_precision property does not exist

    As you have noticed date, timestamp do not allow to use functions such as min, max, etc... in the interactive report.
    Currently, these functions are supported for columns of type number.
    The problem has been addressed in the development as a bug:

    Bug 10247814: AGGREGATE of REPORT INTERACTIVE AND GROUP BY AGGREGATE takes CHARGE ONLY ON NUMBERS

    Like many, I can see it is addressed in the next version (apex 4.2). Unfortunately, we do not have a timetable for the next version.

  • Conversion of a data type to the data type Timestamp Date equivalent

    I'm trying to use the date of update the son page to track sales phase changes that occur each day associated with a campaign. Reporting requirements are to break the daily accomplishments of the users each day from the previous week. I can't find any other date field which provides information on when a sales stage has changed.

    I've searched high and low and ordered Mr. Lairson (sp?) book, but can't wait until I get to solve my problem.

    Can someone advise, very explicitly since I was a novice, on exactly how to type such a conversion?

    I don't know if I understand your query exactly, however if you are looking to convert a timestamp value (i.e. Date of change) in a short date format, then you can use: -

    CAST (timestamp AS DATE)

    for example CAST (lead. (' "Last modified" DATE)

    I can do this with the expression of the Groove.

    You can add a validation script to the EO attribute and use groovy as expression

  • Timestamp data type is wrong

    The code attached is supposed to focus on a cluster and read the name and the data type of each control of the cluster.  When I put a timestamp control in the cluster it returns its data in the form of wave type, I thought timestamp has its own data type.  I need to get the type of correct data I use this to a database.  I need to be able to tell the difference between a timestamp data type and a waveform, because I do not want to insert a data with waveform data type in the database in the form of stamp and I do not want to insert a time stamp in a place where the waveform data must be.  Any ideas?

    One of the subVIs is password protected, and it is the one that generates the error.

    Using the properties class ID and the name class seems to work OK, producing ID = 60 and the class name = AbsTime for the timestamp and ID = 47 and name = WaveformData for waveform control.

    Question: How can I convert a DATE to TIMESTAMP keeping the hours and minutes zeros?

    Why I need this conversion: I have a table with one "column1" TIMESTAMP column (0) and I take only the rows of the table, where 'column1' is in the range of today 12:00 in the morning until now (what time it is).

    I don't think you lose necessarily any information whatsoever. It is probably more a function of your NLS_TIMESTAMP_FORMAT and NLS_DATE_FORMAT. For example, your NLS_DATE_FORMAT could be default setup for a HH24 (24 hours) which would report to midnight as hours of "00". However, it seems that your NLS_TIMESTAMP_FORMAT is configured with "HH" format with a Meridian indicator that means 12 hours time.

    Your comparisons should use date/timestamp data types anyway, so as long as the input value is correctly converted to date type that shouldn't matter in any case.

    You can see what is actually stored by using the DUMP function:

    As you can see the TSTAMP and DT store almost the same values (218,7,1,13), but the TSTAMP has more precision because of fractions of a second.

  • How to truncate a timestamp data type

    I can't count the number of requests that I have written over the years where the trunc (date) was a very useful function. However, I can't find a way to accomplish the same thing when dealing with a timestamp data type. According to the 10 g reference SQL, function 'tronque()' is supposed to take care of timestamp types. However, my 10.2.0.4 database always converts the result to type date.

    Here's what I'm trying to basically do:

    SQL > select count (*)
    sys.aud $2
    3 where ntimestamp # > sys_extract_utc (trunc (systimestamp))
    6 m
    where ntimestamp # > sys_extract_utc (trunc (systimestamp))

    ERROR at line 3:
    ORA-30175: invalid type for an argument

    I was able to find a way to get a truncated time stamp:

    SQL > select cast (trunc (sysdate) timestamp with local time zone)

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

    However, this is a powerful approach ugly. Am I missing something? Any help is appreciated!

  • Script Help: VM-> data store Associations

    Our VM names usually end with a number (WEB1, WEB2, etc.) and our data store names also end in a number. For redundancy of the application, we use warehouses of data whose names ending with numbers for the storage needed by VMs whose names ending in even numbers and data warehouses with names ending with odd numbers for the storage needed by VMs whose names ending with odd numbers. In the physical world, odd numbered data warehouses and the presenters are physically separated from those even.

    I tried to create a PowerCLI script to report incompatibilities (people make mistakes) so that I can know if any VM storage on the 'wrong' type of data store (same VM on odd storage or vice versa).

    I'm really green with PowerShell and PowerCLI and suspect that there is a way to use the Get - ViewType VirtualMachine view, but have failed so far.

    In my environment most VMs use more than one data store, so the script needs to check each store data used by each virtual computer for a mismatch and I want to run the report against my whole environment (a single VC server).

    If anyone knows something similar that has already been done or can point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it.

    The attached script uses a regular expression to extract the number of the guestname and the datastorename.

    Then it uses the modulus of the division by 2 to check if it's a curious (1) or (0) number the same.

    When you compare these between the client and the data store, you will find differences.

    I tried to compile your source code and received the same exception.
    However after compiling the MyDataType.java before running the jwsc task, I was successfully able to build the service.

  • How to periodically send various types of data via the Serial Port?

    Hello! Everyone

    I have to send data to LabVIEW to my device on the Serial Port.

    I know how to send data on serial port in LABVIEW, I already have this part.

    Now the problem is that I have several types of data I need to question my embedded device, if I want to send the query periodically command.

    So lets say that my four Op Codes are the following, which will send four different types of query command to my device on the serial port.

    (To be honest only OP_LED and OP_SENSOR is used now)

    0, OP_SYNC

    1, OP_LED

    2, OP_SENSOR

    3, OP_FUTURE

    Structure of basic package is as follows:

    Header (0x2C), Checksum, length of the data (n bytes), Op_Code (1 byte), length (length of Code + data Op)

    For OP_LED, I need to send the package as follows:

    0x2c 0x02 0x01 0 x 00 0x2F (0x2F being the XOR checksum) (calculation of Checksum part is done and SUB Vi form)

    Length of the package this is 0x02

    0x01 is Op Code for OP_LED

    In the same way

    For OP_SENSORi need to send the package as follows:

    0x2c 0x03 0x02 0x00 0 x 00 0x2D (0x2D being the XOR checksum) (calculation of Checksum part is done and SUB Vi form)

    0x03 is length of packet here

    0x02 is Op Code for OP_SENSOR

    So, how can I do this periodically in labview, in such sort that period can be adjusted whenever necessary.

    Is there something in LabVIEW to do.

    I had done the reception and decoding part and working properly.

    Do not insert in the table if you put data in an array at index 0.  Just use array to build.

    No need to have Visa to write don't be a part of wire to the wire of reference and error VISA go in the upper part.  These wires should go THROUGH the entry VISA.

    Don't your checksum requires all the bytes up through data?  Righ now, you only put the checksum on data bytes and forget the opcode and length bytes.

    Your sending is not the opcode for Opsync or Opfuture.  You just send the empty tables.  At the same time for the other two, you put the opcode in the data table.  All your original opcode in the table build thread.  Get the data out of these structures in case item which is supposed to represent the opcode.

    Now you agree a little more architecture.  I would encapsulate the code that is in the while loop as a Subvi.  Then with the hand of your program while loop, use two time Express VI, a game for 100 msec, the other for 1000 msec.  When an express VI is true, run the Subvi with a command set waiting for the answer.  When the other VI Express is true, have it run the Subvi with the other set of commands.

    The device responds with anything when you send these commands?  You only send data.  I see no VISA Read to be able to recover all the data.

    These data resembles a cluster to create a cluster, you can create a constant of cluster on the comic book and use the cast function to fill in the cluster. Some things you need to be aware of:

    What is the size of the Int?

    What is the size of the float?

    What is SSE-endian data.
