Omni 10 usb

The Omni 10 will be damaged by attaching to a powered usb hub?

I need to get a micro usb hub to attach the mouse and wireless keyboard.

A "powered USB hub" is the best way to attach several USB devices to your Omni 10. Even if the connector microphone of the tablet will limit the devices USB 2.0 speeds up, if you plan to buy a new hub - you will still be better off buying a USB 3.0 hub, because they are designed to provide a greater amount of power to connected devices; who must provide a margin of comfort, guaranteeing reliable data transfers if/when you want to eventually add a portable hard drive or optical drive. I have not seen a 'micro' for sale, usb hub and it might be a hard to find specialty item. Instead, you can use a standard hub with a USB connector full size and attach it to your Tablet using one inexpensive and widely available micro-'OTG' USB adapter. There are models with 90 ° microconnectors as intermediary microconnectors. Choose one a mid-range-connector microphone so that it does not interfere with the power or the HDMI ports on each side of the micro-USB port on the Omni. Sanoxy is a reliable brand based in the United States, and I can attest to their product through personal experience. (Unfortunately, I would be inviting a spanking from the moderators, if I were to post any more specific "where - to ' info, but Google is waiting to take you there...).

    Hey guys,.

Is it possible to add more RAM to my 10 Omni? I haven't shot it apart as I don't know it voids the warranty, but for later use, I'd be able to add one other DIMM?

  • can I load that an omni 10 threw the usb port

a 10 omni can be charged using the usb port?

    Hello

The recommendation is to use the charger that comes with the unit. You can still use USB port to charge, BUT it can take ages to get a full charge, and this may affect your computer.

    Kind regards.

  • omni to connect to pc via usb

My omni will do not do anything with the usb connected to the pc in fact the pc recognizes even she or she see the external hard drive. Omni th has the same problem with the pc. Is that normal or what? I have no problem with my android device. I just photos of transfer at the omni for the wife see that she bought for her. Bravo, Laurie

Your Omni is a 10 PC - all the appropriate options for sharing files and settings between PCs will apply to your Omni 10. Because your Tablet and PC are the "host" devices - only one can be responsible, is why they will not 'see' each other when directly linked together. The devices iOS (and Android) are more flexible and can function as host or client when connected to other devices...

If you choose to use USB instead of sharing files on your network, you need to move your files back & suite via an intermediate device - USB stick, card SD or portable hard drive. Because your Omni 10 tablet can provide only a small amount of power to connected USB devices, "external hard drive" likely need to be connected to your Omni thru a powered USB - hub which can provide the necessary power to operate your drive when it is connected to your 10 Omni.

  • hellohow can I boot my pc with USB {flash recovery}? Win 7 64 bit HP omni 100-pc5120

hellohow can I boot my pc with USB {flash recovery}? Win 7 64 bit HP omni 100-pc5120

    Thank you.

Start the PC and read the information on the Welcome screen.

It should tell you which key press to the start menu.

On Dell PCs it's F12 on my HP business overall it's F9 of the PC.

Otherwise, press the F10 key, go into the BIOS and change the boot menu to boot from the USB device first.

  • I have a product code 27 Omni A5W90AV #ABA. Can I use a second monitor via USB 2.0 or USB 3.0

Question: Can I use a USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 port to connect a second monitor. Product code 27 Omni A5W90AV #ABA doesn't have a VGA or HDMI output.

Yes, you can use a USB-to-video adapter to the output of an additional monitor. The EVGA UV plus + 19 is one of the many devices on the market that will do what you want.

  • Omni 10 connection to PC via USB

Hi all! Purchased recently this tablet, like her, how can I connect it to my win 7 PC?  I have mini USB - USB cable, but nothing happens. I know they are both as hosts, but do not know what to do.

And subsidiary question, which is supported by this Tablet? I could not find in any article support or anywhere on the official site, is it already abandoned?

    Hey Just_Yan,

To be honest, I'm personally not a big fan of OneDrive. It works with extraction of files that require a connection to the Web site to access the files from another PC. A good alternative is to use DropBox that does what I think you are trying to do, which is to have a central cloud based storage which is accessible from any application at the same time. You can also connect to the DropBox site from any device to access your files.

This should work much better for you.

You can also try to turn on the feature of Fetch of OneDrive files as follows:

    1. Go to the PC where OneDrive is installed.

    2. Right-click on the icon OneDrive () in the notification area, at the far right of the taskbar. (You may need to click the show hidden icons next to the notification area to see the icon.) Then click on settings.
  • second nonitor in omni 27 1005ev

have an Omni 27 product code number H1G03EA #AB7. Can I use a second monitor through USB 2.0 and HDMI

Here are the specifications of your Omni 27-1005ev Desktop Computer HP. According to the specifications, there may be a HDMI input on your computer to attach and view a games console or a video player. Many HP Omni AIO and TouchSmart computers don't need any means of video output (VGA, DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, etc.) to fix an external display. Please consider using an adapter USB-to-video, like the eVGA UV plus + UV39 or one of the other many cards on the market.

    Please send Bravo

  • HP Omni 200 PC: Computer configured for HD TV as a second monitor

I am trying to use my HD TV as a second monitor set up my TV.  My goal is to watch movies from my PC to the TV.  The Omni 200 does not have VGA or HDMI connections.  So I tried to use a 3 USB to HDMI adapter with a long (25') HDMI Cable that I connected to one of the HDMI ports on the TV for my video output.  When I tried to detect the TV as a second monitor, I got a blue screen stating my PC was a dump of data and downtime.  Maybe it's that HDMI cards drivers were not really designed to win 10.  actually, the box said it was for Win 7, 8 and Vista, but the provider told me it would work to win 10.  They insured, in fact I got the driver for Win 10 that I installed, but with my PC crashed anyway.

I'm now considering a 3 USB to VGA instead - and using a long VGA cable to connect to my PC - it has a female connector VGA built in my opinion this solution would work.  And I would use a divider audio stereo 3.5 mm cable to connect a left and right RCA audio cable to the TV.

Someone has an opinion on the question of whether I'd be successful before I buy these cables?  Thank you. Dan

You are welcome.  Thank you for the additional information.

According to the Specifications of the motherboard , there are 2 - USB 2.0 and 1.0 on your computer 5 - USB ports.  Here is a video card that can allow you to connect to your TV.  I suggest you contact the manufacturer's Technical Support to make sure it works before buy you.  This will save send back if this does not work.  I do it myself before you buy all new components.  Therefore, it is difficult to know what works today.  Technology changes so quickly.

Please click on the Thumbs up button '+' if I helped you and click on "Accept as Solution" If your problem is resolved.

  • HP Omni 27 - 1200 a: black screen, HARD drive will 'ker, ker click' after power page

my diet went power three times in quick succession, I have a Belkin surge in place.

When the power finally settles on my screen was black and the HARD drive has just kept going "ker click, click ker, etc etc. No beeps or anything else.

The computer man couldn't get anything to show even with the new HARD drive. The old HDD is still running... everything "ker by clicking on '...

All systems have the power, the fan, USB ports, the disc recorder drive all are ok.

    All secret switches?

    Thank you Jay...

computer technology has suggested that it might be the motherboard after testing the HARD drive and it does absolutely no good and whatever he does still nothing worked.

Then... I bought a HP 27 tilt want to replace the Omni 27.

Problem is that the desire has no DVD disc drive...

so... I took one of the Omni and put it in a Slim Data kit USB and that fixed that,

The 16gig of ram instead of the 4 GB installed in my laptop, that made no difference.

Looking for uses for the rest of the expensive bits... :-)

  • I want out of my 27-1007 Omni ev to my TV using hdmi...

    Hello

My Omni 27 - 1007ev has an HDMI port, I want to use for the tv output from my pc to my current tv Online (to get British television here in Cyprus).

The manual is not clear on this, but show test that the connection seems to be one way only and that is from a console games on the pc. I want to go the other way.

With a HDMI cable attached by pressing the button from the top (part right adjacent pc to the HDMI port) brings up a message of game mode on a gray screen.

The second of the top button reveals a facimile of the buttons on the screen with this button with a forbidden access to sign on. The volume buttons have no effect on the screen of the pc as shown in the manual.

Overall, the TV screen remains empty.

    Someone at - it ideas.

    Thanks por

Here are the specifications of your HP Omni 27 - desktop 1007ev. According to the specifications, the HMDI port on the side is for 'entry only video player or game console. Please consult this HP document titled "using a HDMI or HDMI Video Player with your PC Omni27 Game Console" for the appropriate connection and use of the HDMI interface input on your computer.

To connect your TV HDMI to your computer 1007ev 27 Omni will require the use of a USB-to-video adapter as the EVGA UV more + UV39 or similar adapter.

  • Omni charge 10 issues

A few days ago, I thought that I had banished all the gremlins of my 10 Omni (thanks to this forum; the trick has been disable all energy savings options in the Intel display control panel and turn off the power supply for the USB controller management).  I should have remained skeptical, the Tablet charge shortly after the judgment.  A call to HP support has resulted in a new adapter sent my way.  My FedEx package came today and the only thing inside was a specific region taken insert; no adapter found.  Seriously, HP?

Anyway, to my question to the community, because I don't think the adapter is the problem: someone has found a solution for the problems of load?  The Tablet charged whenever I plugged for more than three weeks, but refused to load during the last two days.  As far as I know, no software changes have been made about the time that the problem appeared, and I see no sign of hardware failure.

I do not think to say, but obviously I checked to make sure that the adapter is plugged in to operation.

    the following worked for me:

  • Screen 5600ea - completely black HP Omni 10 after crash while on the remote desktop connection

I hope someone can help me with this.

I had updated my Omni 10 to Windows Pro 8.1 so that I can Office remotely on my tablet on my work lan to get the benefits of the 2013 Office (we have not this version to work) on my work PC.

Anyway, while it is connected to my 10 Omni via desktop remotely my Omni 10 crashed after connecting a USB drive that is powered via a USB OTG adapter. I used the front adapter without any problem with the USB card readers bus-powered and also the Lan USB card so I know it works, and the outlet powered USB hard drive works on my PC without any problem.

The Omni disconnected from the remote desktop, and I guess it crashed, but the screen is black even when I hold down the power button and wait for the vibration (which usually means that it is set to zero).

There is nothing displayed on screen, my work PC is unable to connect via Remote Desktop, and any number of power cycles seems to relive.

I tried with the attached Omni 10 charger and without.

There is no HP logo involve restarting at any point, but the Windows key infiltrates a vibration when I push on it.

While enjoying the fact that the Omni 10 comes with the base Windows 8.1 and not Pro so I changed the configuration it worked fine for a few weeks since the installation.

Pointers on getting this thing to life would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

I returned to the store that I bought, and they sent to HP for warranty repair.

28 days ago so I went back to the store and they gave me a brand new boxed 10 Omni processor.

When I got home I installed the driver and Windows updates. I noticed that the WiFi reception was really bad, even right next to my router, and the cameras had lines on the screen and the pictures that I took.

The next day I went back to the store and they said all that and they initially said that I have to wait another 28 days, while it went for repair. When I said that this was not acceptable, they gave me a full refund of the amount that I had paid and used that to purchase a Pro of Microsoft Surface.

The Microsoft Surface Pro is fast, well doneand more importantly everything works.
