Ongoing problem with my Netgear WiFi adapter and hardware software.

Please help me solve this problem, which still exists.  I even once contacted NETGEAR, but they say it's a problem for six months and it is only cosmetic in that the adapter Netgear WIFI does his job, despite the failure of the adapter Netgear WIFI Wizard appears immediately except to re - install via CD Netgear...  Read on: Although my new Netgear dual-band "N" WIFI ADAPTER works optimally and, out of curiosity, I have re-installed several times using the accompaniment CD... there is a small problem I want to solve: when I click on the WIFI adapter desktop ICON, I get a window of PSI with the message "FAILURE of SERVICE.  Yet once, WIFI actually moved and is also indicated under the programs/features and works perfectly well.  When I bring up the icon under all PROGRAMS, the same result occurs: the same message reappears: "FAILURE of SERVICE.  When I called Netgear to the Philippines call center, support staff of so-called tech advised me to ignore the message and that I was the first caller on this issue, "as long as the WIFI adapter gives you the desired signal quality and speed, just ignore... "When I pressed on others, a supervisor at the call center told me that she would pass on the information that I provided to their engineers to study the problem.  In addition, the supervisor told me that no one had contacted the Center to call on this particular issue.  Yes, I even disabled the built-in WIFI adapters (Atheros), but the 'problem' in question still exists.  Please note that it is a phenomenon of long months and that in the past whenever I clicked on the ICON, the regular Netgear Windows would come upward, including the various hot spots in option, etc. I even updated the software successfully and rebooted the laptop, according to Microsoft's Windows Update instructions.  Please let me know what is happening and how I could fix this ' cosmetic ', if that's what it is, according to Netgear support.

    After the upgrade from Vista to W7-64 CV, I have a problem with an active WiFi Seagate GoFlex TV Media Player asking for a "Net User ID & Net password" to log.  I used all imaginable combinations of IDs & passwords, but they all lead to logon fails. I'm almost certain that it is a W7 security problem because others with the same players who went to W7 face the same problem.  I found many supposed fixes online, but none works.

    I am aware that MS W7 works as it should and Seagate is not their problem, but if anyone can recommend a change of security to help this issue, I guarantee a pass towards the sky.

    PS: All the sharing, etc. continuously.  are installed as they should be.

    The only reference to Net User ID and password I can find is on page 46/47 of the User Guide. If this is not the user name and password of the Windows account that you want to share files with, I don't know what it is.

    I would have suggested the registry change.

    Thanks for all the details with your accounts.

    Can be difficult to have more than one Apple with several e-mails all mixed together.  If an email is used with another Apple ID, for example, that e-mail can be used to create a new Apple ID or rename an old.

    The analysis of what you seem to have however...

    Your purchases are with your *@losmail.no Apple ID, but the emails for this go to your *@gmail.com email address.

    *@gmail.com is the primary e-mail address for your Apple ID *@losmail.no.

    You can connect to iTunes or manage your page ID with *@gmail.com Apple says it's an Apple ID on its own.  As an email address can only be verified for an Apple ID, which means that he must check with your *@losmail.no Apple ID and cannot be verified with *@gmail.com.

    You say you can not connect on appleid.apple.com with *@losmail.no you will need to check the email address.  You have a relief attached to this ID e-mail? This is the email that would be used to recover.   You receive your check or reset email - Apple Support

    Bottom line, you want to change your primary Apple ID but outdated to *@losmail.no to *@gmail.com, you must first rename *@gmail.com to something else and delete this email of all codes from Apple as well.  Then follow the link above to get access to *@losmail.no and control so that you can rename it.

    It seems to be a problem with the corruption of the .net framework. I suggest trying to repair the .net framework on the computer and see if you can install the updates.

    I'm having a problem with my Windows media player and its rating system. Usually in Windows Media Player the blue side star system only rate once internet-based critical car. Then after playing constant song change the blue stars. However, on my Windows Media Player ratings only to have automatically scored only once and every time I play the song the side remains the same.

    Whenever I play a song in Windows Media Player 11 it rates the song but when I play the song again the rating remains the same. It auto-taux only the song once. How can I fix it?

    I have windows Vista and have been using it for a while to play the sims 3 and download games via original EA downloader/store.  I had run a windows update and an original updated in the last days and therefore my sims 3 expansion packs ceased to operate.  I uninstalled all and have reinstalled the original game of the downloader of origin and now when I try to download my expansion packs I get an error message saying that windows has prevented the application creates a download directory, please accept the UAC prompt to start to download this game.  I approved the promt and they have same message came still high and so I disabled UAC altogether and still got the same error message, I looked on the EA forums and the only line I can find of them our it may be a windows problem (which I doubt)?  Can you help me?

    Gerry, thanks for your post. I have the same problem as Joachim started this thread. I am running Windows 7 sp1. I have a Dell computer and it's certainly a legitimate copy of Windows (confirmed computer 'properties' and it is enabled).

    By your post, I saw just to update and the KB3004394 (installed on 12/10/2014) and KB3024777 (installed on 12/12/2014) show as comfortable. I usually leave the Windows download updates automatically and I install them to stop. I watched the second update and according to Microsoft.com:

    Install KB3024777 to fix a problem with KB3004394 on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2

    The KB 3004394 update which was dated December 10, 2014 can cause additional problems on computers that run Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. This includes the inability to install future updates. This new update is available to remove KB 3004394 from your computer.

    My problem is, as of today 14/12/2014, I still get the pop up "this computer is running not windows genuine', even with KB3024777 installed.

    Any thoughts?
