  For the comm.

  I'm a little frustrated. I had a session with maybe 20 open tabs. I closed the browser by selecting just "Quit". Whenever a new start, all these tabs open again. So - I delete them all and let two tabs open. My home page and my email page say. Then I left and select "Save and Quit".

  I start again - and all is well. Only two tabs there. I support on ^ T to open another tab. Do something and get tired of deicide both to display my home page in this tab - so I click on the Home icon below the menu bar - and guess what - all those f * k 20. tablets reappear remember all these ugly sites I looked at weeks.

  Can you please clean this behavior?

  1 - do you mean that you get the green screen even in safe mode?

  2 did you recent hardware or software changes to your computer before this problem?

  If you are unable to start desktop even in safe mode, then you try to perform the verification and startup repair.

• How to remove two of the same applications on the home screen?

  On my home screen - I have two shortcuts for "Gallery" - when I try to drag and drop any shortcut to the Red trash can be downloaded on the homescreen-, it goes back to its place on the home screen, and I still have two of the same icons. Also, when I try to use one of the shortcuts, I get an error message saying that the app is not installed on my phone - the other copy of the icon works great.   Just get rid of one who does not. While now it over the trash can you wait until it turns red before I let you down. Move a bit if it is not red.  Hope that helps.

  You can press on and press and hold the home button on the app and then slide up on the thumbnail of the app to close.

  • The home screen (ONLY) is not going to landscape mode. I saw the other Motorola phone to landscape mode, I don't know why mine is not.
  • No multitouch except in the web browser. I can't pinch zoom in Google Maps and similar applications / cannot rely on several "buttons" on a Sega Genesis emulator, that I downloaded from the Android market. I heard it got fixed with the update to Android 2.1, MOTOBLUR, but I just wanted to make sure that was right.

  android devices stocks only with landscape in the home screen are those with a slide keyboard AFAIK. As much as multitouch that we are lucky to have it in 1.5, I did hear anything about what 2.1 will bring us assuming that we never actually get it.

  On the homescreen torch, you tap the 'all' downstairs bar to view the full menu. When you touch the bar once again it closes the application menu.

  When I got the torch the menu, when closed, displays only a row of 4 applications (SMS, browser, etc.) but I must have pressed something without knowing or changed a setting if it showed no apps at all, when I closed the menu. I preferred this as I love the home screen just show the background on the phone and not cluttered.

  However, it has changed back recently and is now showing TWO rows of apps now not even one! and cannot for the life of figure me out how to change it back?

  Simply touch and drag down to the bottom of the screen. You will then see just the arrow ^ (you can change this way of 0 to 3 lines of icons). Then, when you tap on the bar with the arrow, you will get your full screen, the icons back.

Only after hitting enter or mouse left click password field contains a second Green with the larger picture of the account and the name.   If I understand the question, you don't get password filed the first home screen. You must press on enter or left click the mouse to get the password field. Please let me know if this is not correct.

  Welcome to Apple Support communities.  I'm glad you brought your question to be able to respond to messages directly from the lock screen, it is a feature I use all the time and I know it's convenient not having fully unlock and go to the app to respond quickly to a text.

  Let's check some settings to make sure that we have everything set up correctly for you to be able to respond to messages from the lock screen.

  The application of settings:

  1. Touch ID & password (enter your access code)
  2. Scroll down to ALLOW ACCESS when it is LOCKED
  3. Don't forget that respond with Message is enabled and set to green

  Try a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose anything.

  If a force restart does not help, try a system restore. First save your device via iTunes. Also import your photos on your computer and copy all the important data. Reconstruction of the support first test and test. If this does not help, you may need to restore as a new and reconfigure from scratch as the backup may be damaged. • Help! I can't change the search engine for the Firefox widget on my home screen

  OK, so my engine failure to research on FF for Android is Duckduckgo. It is also the only one I have in my list of search engines in FF settings. I also use the search widget FF on my homescreen for quick search. It is and has always been, Duckduckgo. But, all of a sudden after the recent update (I use the FF, 36 beta something), for my search widget on my home screen, switched to Google search engine! I don't know why... I never use it. But this applies only to the search engine for the FF search on my home screen widget, not when I'm looking for something in FF itself. Does anyone else have this problem? Because I can't find a way to change the search engine in the FF widget... Looked everywhere in search widget settings and in FF itself. Thanks for the help of any body!

  I found a way to implement back to DuckDuckGo after a bit of fiddling with the default search engine in the browser.

  I think that the update should have overridden the setting somehow. What you need to do is to any other search engine default, then set DuckDuckGo returned as default. This will also update engine of the widget's default search.
