  I have a VC that manages 8 virtual data centers.  Some of these data centers are on a dish network, and some are in a demilitarized zone.  Even if the storage is NOT shared between data centers, I am able to clone a VM between data on food networks centers but I cannot clone between a data center on a dish network and the other in a demilitarized zone.

  Is there a specific port that must be open to clone through a firewall, or I wouldn't be able to do this.

• I can't install a webdisk on vista home 32-bit top of the system. I allowed the site through the firewall with ports 2077 and 2078.

  I have a website www.rsdworld.com. I tried to establish a webdisk or connecton on the network's website. I get an error asking that I ensure ports are allowed through the firewall or the folder cannot be created. This becomes agrivating. I had no problem installing a webdisk on my XP.

  You will need to check with Webdisk to see if it is compatible with Windows Vista.

• 5324 SSH running but not asking not password and not running through my firewall

  I picked up a Dell Powerconnect 5324 off ebay and wiped the configs, updated the firmware and got it mostly set up for what are my needs but I don't know why good SSH than active and working locally on the same subnet as the ip of the vlan has the following two issues:

  1 SSH works but only ask "open as:" then "user name:" and never will prompt you for the password. It just goes straight to an enable command prompt

  2. I can't work through my firewall DNAT. It's not critical, but I removed the access list that I had just to test and still no go.

  NetBios is the protocol used by the Windows file share to discover other computers using the same protocol. Do not allow this through your firewall.

  Even if you don't want to allow access to a remote computer, it must be done via a VPN connection. You should not let any network of ports opened to the Internet unless you really have to. examples where you run a website or, of course, a VPN server.

  I have some XP SP2 workstations that are used in the factory.  I use Clonezilla to reimage the workstations (Yes, we have valid licenses for all units) where you have to replace a hard drive or have warranty work that requires a new installation.  We have put arrangements in place on the specified comm ports.  The printer is connected to COM1.  When I test the appliance to make sure that all devices work, the test of the printer will not open COM1.  When I use Hyperterminal to test COM1, I get the message "cannot open COM1. Please check your port settings. "I checked the BIOS of a workstation and compare it to the non-working station.  Corresponding to all of the information correctly.  When I check property COM1 resources, the station problem looks identical to the right station and no conflicts.  IRQ 04 corresponds to the current setting.  To get the desktop put open COM1, I open COM1 properties, resource tab, uncheck and then re - check the box "Use automatic settings" without applying the Statute to uncheck.  After having double checked the "use automatic settings", I click OK.  I then go back to see what the parameters are.  He changed his IRQ 07.  This modification works until the computer has been restarted so the following steps must be applied again.  Also, if I perform these same steps on a workstation, I get the same results with the change IRQ.  I don't have the problem with comm except COM1 ports.  We use the software in a box.  Change to use a different comm port is not an option.

  It seems that the cloning process is causing the problem.  Clonezilla is fast and reliable with the exception of what seems to be a problem of comm port.  I'm looking for someone who can tell me what settings can I change to make COM1 to work without having to go through additional steps after the workstation is restarted.

• Connections of the agent through a firewall

  I have a number of windows servers in a DMZ I need to monitor, and I can't push the holes for each server.  I have a server in the DMZ that can communicate back through the firewall.  Is there a way to put the agents on these computers to communicate through a server which has a connectivity?  I can put whatever I want (server, agent, etc.) on a server, but I need the results to finish on the server inside the firewall.

  I would not put the agents to the same port - I would like to use different.

  You say you have "too much", but there are 65 535 ports without overlap. Indeed I would be impressed if you had that many. :)

• missing feature or bug? -Video NetGroup is not through any firewall/NAT

  I'm developing an application based on video of NetGroup. I observed following

  -Without any NAT/firewall - "NetGroup.post" and audio/video works

  -A single client inside NAT/firewall - works of "NetGroup.post", video and audio DOES NOT work

  -Once manually drill through NAT/firewall (non-application), audio and video has started working. As soon as the hole was closed, both audio and video stops again.

  It seems that NetGroup P2P connections are not perforation of NAT/firewall. If someone from adobe can confirm it's true (or not true). If true, this is a known problem, going to be fixed soon? If this isn't the case, I might have to implement a hole punching algorithm in my application.

  RTMFP groups don't traversal of NAT/firewall.  the underlying connections between peers are RTMFP sessions.

  NetGroup.post and P2P multicast use exactly the same RTMFP sessions between peers.  It is not possible that NetGroup.post could work but P2P multicast audio and video would not work in the same peer group of same.

  When you say "manually punching holes in NAT/firewall", what do you mean exactly?  the ports used by clients RTMFP is random by NetConnection instance and cannot be predicted.  you block UDP with a firewall, configure you redirection port through of your NAT or you have disabled your NAT entirely?

  GroupSpecifier what are the parameters that you use for the case where NetGroup.post works for you?  What about the NetStream where P2P multicast does not work?  is this the same group?

  Currently, I am trying to build a system that has the following architecture:

  RF Server = "1-9 A/D '-> «UDP Multicast (write-only) 1-9"»

  Workstation operator = "QTY (N) Data Display Apps all need independently to access one of the 9 UDP multicasts at a time.

  Essentially, I have 9 items of antenna that all digitized and distributed via UDP separate multicast address and port. On the receive side I need to be able to have the N number of data display applications where everyone can select the antenna element he wants to get data from. My current goal for N is 7 and the worst case for the data rate is 3.75 MSps IQ rates on each display.

  My question is whether or not it is possible to have several "UDP Multicast Open (read only)" on the same port but one by application Data Display? Also, are there limitations with this.

  On my local machine I tried a bit with the example 'UDP Multicast Sender.vi' and "UDP Multicast Reciever.vi". I created a "UDP Multicast Reciever2.vi" as another application that listens on the same port/Multicast address as the original receiver. No errors are thrown when you run the receivers and both receivers get the data string sent by the sender at the same time. Can I send data/a. 'PC'-> 'Router Ethernet'-> 'PC with receiver UDP N' reliable evidence? If so, that's fine, because it would be relatively easy to implement. BTW, I do not fear with occasional loss of data what is happening with UDP.

  If this does not work, I am also curious to know which deals with data deduplication. For example, two applications by subscribing to the same Multicast address and port does the router send two copies (which increases network traffic)? Or, the Windows operating system get a single UDP packet to the port and replicate in two independent applications?

  Below (or attached) are the two methods I thought. If multiple readers of UDP does not work so I thought I'd do a DataSocket "Data Distribution layer" between the incoming UDP sockets and display data on the workstation applications. This would add a bit of memory/processor to the PC workstation, but I know the DataSocket server of NOR can handle a sender unique multiple receiver architecture.

  Hi Tim,.

  The number of concurrent applications, get data on the same port UDP will probably be a limitation of the OS as well. If I had to guess, I would say that 7 of the applications should work correctly. In fact, the memory/CPU bottlenecks are probably the limit on how many simultaneous readers we have, especially since the capablities of PC hardware differ from one computer to the other. I doubt that the OS has a strict limit.

  Method 1

  Check and make sure that you have followed the method to allow the game through the protection of execution of data (DEP) below.

  (b) now click on the "turn on DEP for all programs and Services except those I select:

  (d) now, click Ok then apply.

  (e) restart the computer.
