• Cannot open several files at once

  I meet a strange bug in Dreamweaver CM³.

  When I try to open several files in DW, it opens the same file in multiple tabs. For example: I select index.html and login.html in the root of the site, then open. Instead of ending up with two files, one in each tab, DW opens two tabs on the login.html. If I try to open a third file called main.css for example, it replaces two existing tabs and open a third tab, air-conditioned and with main.css.

  This makes the work on the global site styles and about something very difficult.

  Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I have all the updates of the software currently available.

  Good guys, I found the answer. Very strange bug in the software and the solution found by chance.

  For some reason, the path to the folder root site cannot contain a character #. Perhaps no other special characters either, but I did not test them. My company file structure contains # to name, but it was apparently confusing Dreamweaver.

• I can't open several files at once in Photoshop 5. Any suggestions?

  I just install CS5 on my Mac. If I drag multiple files Photoshop to Photoshop icon in my dock only open on my desktop. When I close all the files I tried to open the flash on the screen as they close too, after having been unavailable at this point. Any advice, short to wipe the drive and reinstall everything from scratch?

  Speaking of zero, I have a great record of work available.

  Are you sure they close and are not just rooted tabs?

  

• How to open several files in ACR without bridge

  Is there a way? but not a single file, several files at once.

  There is no provision to do so. You are right, however. You can select multiple images in Lightroom and apply the corrections here. But when images to Photoshop Lightroom, Camera Raw only serves to interpret the Lightroom adjustments. Camera Raw itself does not open. Of course, you can open as smart objects. But only allow you to take individual images in Camera Raw.

• Setting permissions for several files at once

  I'm sure this has been asked here, but I'm not (although I have seen that it is claimed for several years on various forums around the Internet with zero answers concrete)...

  I use to be able to grant everyone | full control on several files at once, but for some reason that is completely beyond me, 7 (and as I read it, it's from vista forward) does not display the Security tab so I have to grant permissions one by one.

  It goes without saying, but I will anyway, it's silly.  There is no 'improvement' if it is more difficult, so I have to say that I don't see anything beneficial as to why this was changed.

  Is that it will be restored to how it was before and if not, why?  I'm not a programmer, so I won't make all orders or I will visit the group permissions or whatever.

  I want to be able to select multiple files/folders at the same time and grant permissiong in 2 clicks of the mouse.

  Feasible?  Or this function a round permanantly filed because someone thinks they've created something better?

  Here are a few options:

  • If permissions should affect all the files in a folder: apply the permissions in the whole file.
  • If the permissions should affect only some files in a folder: temporarily move the files in a folder that is clean, then apply permissions to this folder. Now, move the files to return whence they came.
  • If the file names can be treated with a wildcard character, for example * .jpg: use cacls.exe to command prompt to set the permissions.

• Photoshop CC 2014 - unable to open multiple files at once from bridge or Camera Raw

  Somewhere along the line of the last few months I can no longer open several files in bridge or Camera Raw.  A single file opens fine, but I can't load files into different layers, or perform a photomerge of bridge.  I've tried dumping the preferences file, but it made no difference.

  Problem seems to have started when I undid an installation of Photoshop CC 2015 (too many crashes) and tried to replace Photoshop CC 2014.  The 2014 version seems to work in all respects, except the impossibility to open several files.

  This continued through a few updates.

  No idea what to try next?

  Have you tried the following?

  Select multiple images in Bridge and go to the menu Tools > Photoshop > load files into Photoshop layers.

  OR

  Open Photoshop and go to the menu file > Scripts > load files into a pile

• Opening several files in separate windows

  I recently moved from CS2 to CS5.  In CS2, on a Mac, I could hold down the command key and click on many files in a folder and then doulble click on one of them and they all open in individual windows.  When I try to do the same thing in CS5, it opens a window with several tabs.  How can I open it in individual windows?  I tried a forum search but was unsuccessful.  Thanks in advance.

  For output, you can configure a predefined print or PDF export preset that has the appropriate allowance included purge, but will not 'fix' the content on the pages to bleed if she does not already lines of purge. The only way to do it would be to open each page and manually extend what to serve.

  Here are some details:

  I've got 75 files I need to sketch. I know Photoshop and other software it is possible to create a process to resize the images, for example. Is there something similar to Illustrator CS5? I played a bit with stocks, but if could not understand (and so, how) it is possible to get all the files described only once.

  do you mean vectorize paths or text or what?

  you could make an action select all, then object > path > contour Contour or type > create outlines (or both), and then use the batch processing options (at the bottom of the menu drop-down of the Actions Panel) to choose a folder to perform the action.

  the batch option is perhaps what you are looking for here, not sure.

  got a file adapter that queries a directory seconds, for files that have a .txt extension, say there are 10 files in there that match this requirement, if I want the service to create 10 bodies at the first tick survey how would I do that? the file adapter does already?

  You don't have to do it explicitly to achieve this. File adapter already do. At each polling interval, it will pick up all the files that are present in the directory and meet the selection criteria.

  It happens when I try to import a complete file of videos in first pro... certain files import and others do not. Who does not desire if you import each video individually.
  In my case, that would take me a week to do. Need a solution.
  Im running on a Mac with First Pro CC updated. All the malware is deleted from the computer. Why would he do that? First pro has been crashing a lot lately on me. Super frustrating!

  Somewhere I heard that I should check the authorization of disk and repair... ? I did that and its still a problem.

  Update: according to me, this error occurs because of a few corrupted images, I tried to import. The guy I got the images from had renamed all... Ive addresses issues like this in the past. I don't think it's a problem first.

  Hello world! So, I'm redesigning a website and got almost completely done just by using a model. But then, I decided to incorporate some server-side includes. This is my first time with includes, but I seem to be doing it correctly! Except that I did not know files using understands it must be shtml instead of html. And all my html files. Is it possible to update all extensions of file at a time, instead of each file individually? Fortunately, it's not that huge a site and I have not hundreds of records up to date. But it would be easier if I didn't have to make them one at a time!

  No, there isn't a way to do it as a batch operation. Make sure you do your changes in each file in the files Panel. Who will ensure that all the internal links are updated to reflect the new file name.
