  I have a user who is trying to open several files at once in IllustratorCC. When you select several files and right click-> open, it opens to a single file.   • Adobe Acrobat X Pro, 10.1.2
  • Windows 7 Enterprise, 32-bit
  • Badass de Core Quad CPU
  • 4 GB OF RAM
  • MS Word 2010 (Office 2010)

  I installed the latest version as an administrator and as an administrator. I have all the rights to all the files on the PC.

  When I try to create a PDF file from any Word document, if. DOC or. DOCX, I get an error window everytime:

  If I open Word and create a PDF to the Ribbon, it works. It still only allows me to create from Acrobat.

  This is a major problem because it also fails on the batch conversions, which is what I really need for 100 or if the documents which must be PDFed. I'm not going to open each individual file and save each word.

  This is a KNOWN PROBLEM with Adobe, and if you look through the forums, you will find a lot of people having this problem, and so far, I have seen no solution.

  The 'security' tab appears only if you have Windows XP Pro and you have disabled "Simple file sharing".

  If you have Windows XP Home, then the only way to go to the Security tab is to start your computer in safe mode (repeatedly tap the F8 key while your computer starts) and then log in as a user with administrator privileges.

  In Vista, many files can not even to administrators. Some are to protect the user from making mistakes (like many in the Windows directory and in your personal profile).  Some are points of junctionhttp://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb968829 (VS.85) .aspx which are there for backwards compatibility and should not be modified in any way (and certainly not deleted) or you may not be able to use your programs or may even damage the system to the point where it will need to be reinstalled).  You shouldn't need special permits to delete a file if you have all the rights, but special permissions can block access and that's sometimes how it blocks even administrators.  Keep in mind that XP administrators had access more than them in Vista - blocked is not necessarily a problem, but intentionally by developers of Vista.

  However, if you're talking about files that you devriez have permission, then the following information about the ownership and permissions can help you.

  To view your permissions, right-click on the file/folder, click Properties, and check the Security tab.  Check the permissions you have by clicking on your user name (or group of users).  Here are the types of permissions, you may have:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-are-permissions.  You must be an administrator or owner to change the permissions (and sometimes, being an administrator or even an owner is not sufficient - there are ways to block access (even if a smart administrator knows these ways and can move them - but usually should not because they did not have access, usually for a very good reason).)  Here's how to change the permissions of folder under Vista:http://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-vista/set-file-folder-permissions-vista/. To add take and the issuance of right of permissions and ownership in the right click menu (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article:http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/05/21/take-and-grant-full-control-permissions-and-ownership-in-windows-7-or-vista-right-click-menu/.

  I hope this helps.  If this isn't the case, after return and we'll get the exact path of these files to make sure that you really can visit his profile and try adding special permissions.  I suspect that the problem is that everyone is denied access and blocking everyone - but we'll check (if necessary).

  When I try to reboot the DSO after a reboot of the server, I get

  ERROR: diskgroup DATA was not mounted

  ORA-15032: not all changes made

  ORA-15017: diskgroup 'DATA' cannot be mounted

  ORA-15063: ASM discovered an insufficient number of drives for diskgroup "DATA".

  It seems the permission of disks have changed after the reboot. I guess the spfile is inside the DATA diskgroup because it can not even start ASM. When I create a file with values asm_diskgroup and asm_diskstring pfile and 777 on the drive, I managed to start the ASM.

  * .asm_diskgroups = "INDX", "DATA".

  * .asm_diskstring = "/ dev / *'"

  $ oracleasm querydisk p - DATA

  Disk 'DATA' is a valid ASM disk

  / dev/sdb4: LABEL = 'DATA' TYPE = 'oracleasm.

  And when I read the documentation I see this ' that the owner of the ORACLE binary file has permissions to read/write on the discs"(so do not run required) but the problem is that this test server should have the same parameters as in production. And the production server has brw - r - for the corresponding disk. So my questions are

  Can it be handled somehow in a different way? How can this have been reached production without the same settings I put in test? Is there an other way around for me in test to achieve?

  The network user (who owns the infrastructue grid) belongs to the same group of test and production. Test and production have ASM version 11.2.0.3, but the different operating system.

  As this is my first ASM/grid infrastructure, I don't even know where to begin this review except the support.oracle.com search but I've not found anything except the Action for the error code (which is perhaps the only way around it)

  Remember that the permissions of the device must be configured so that the owner of the Oracle database or the process has full access to the appropriate device files. It is not enough to only give ASM full authorization for devices files. ASM provides management for volume, but the database has direct access to device files and ASM does not interfere with inputs and outputs. You can set up groups and owner accordingly. If you have a different owner for ASM, you must assign appropriate groups to give full access ASM configuring oracleasm.

• Cannot open several files at once

  I meet a strange bug in Dreamweaver CM³.

  When I try to open several files in DW, it opens the same file in multiple tabs. For example: I select index.html and login.html in the root of the site, then open. Instead of ending up with two files, one in each tab, DW opens two tabs on the login.html. If I try to open a third file called main.css for example, it replaces two existing tabs and open a third tab, air-conditioned and with main.css.

  This makes the work on the global site styles and about something very difficult.

  Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I have all the updates of the software currently available.

  Good guys, I found the answer. Very strange bug in the software and the solution found by chance.

  For some reason, the path to the folder root site cannot contain a character #. Perhaps no other special characters either, but I did not test them. My company file structure contains # to name, but it was apparently confusing Dreamweaver.

  Ah, support strikes again. The training catalogue is not and can not be publicly visible. This permission setting is available for objects in the content library.

  If you go to the training tab, then training catalog, you will see an option to set the permissions to the training catalog. Choose that and you will be able to add any individual or group in the list on the left to the list on the right to give them permissions to display. There will be no option "make publicly visible.

  If an individual is not listed in the list on the right (or a member of a group on the list on the right), then they will receive the unauthorized message.

  got a file adapter that queries a directory seconds, for files that have a .txt extension, say there are 10 files in there that match this requirement, if I want the service to create 10 bodies at the first tick survey how would I do that? the file adapter does already?

  Hope this question makes sense.

  You don't have to do it explicitly to achieve this. File adapter already do. At each polling interval, it will pick up all the files that are present in the directory and meet the selection criteria.

I played a bit with stocks, but if could not understand (and so, how) it is possible to get all the files described only once.

  do you mean vectorize paths or text or what?

  you could make an action select all, then object > path > contour Contour or type > create outlines (or both), and then use the batch processing options (at the bottom of the menu drop-down of the Actions Panel) to choose a folder to perform the action.

  the batch option is perhaps what you are looking for here, not sure.

• paymentservice_get_price for several items at once?

  To try to fill our application in stores before the user interface with price values of each element, we call paymentservice_get_price batch for the items displayed (by SKU). This however results in a superposition of loading temporary to add above the main window for each of these requests (which are done in sequence). Is there one recommended way to do to avoid this? Are there factors to design replacement? We could simply not display the price in the user interface and the user only sees the price in the purchase confirmation dialog, but this is less than desirable.   Hi Stephane,

  Currently, the overlay can be avoided. For BBOS he's had recently introduced a call to retrieve digital assets in an asynchronous way (without any recovery) allowing the goods to recover in the background. Once this feature made its way to the NDK, you should be able to do the same thing.
