Surely it is assembled wrong as I reach a finger through the cover drive to push the button without my finger stopping at the closing of the tray. Any ideas?   I'm running OS X 10.5.8 on an EMac with the original Apple Pro Keyboard.

  The volume buttons seem to work a bit in iTunes, if I press and hold the button for a very long time.

  I tried the keyboard on my MacBook Pro, and it works very well.

  I also tried a Kensington Slim Mac on the Emac and after keyboard through the wizard keyboard and unrecognized, which worked well as well (including the Media Eject keys and Volume).
