• Command + Option + P + R keys do not work

  I have a 2 models of macbook pro 2010. When I first got them I gave each a password firmware, but for some strange reason, one of them the password does not work! So I need to reset it. I read the forums where it says to remove 1 stick of RAM (fact), reset the SMC (which is), then hold down COMMAND + OPTION + P + R hown to reset the PRAM.

  Problem is to keep these keys does nothing. The macbook starts just to the top as usual. GRRR! It's infuriating! I've tried everything. These keys do not work either and I know that the keyboard is fine because it works on the imac. I find it confusing that google has no answer for that, surely someone else has had this problem?

• Question on options for sending key blackBerry Smartphones

  I have a blackberry and all recently changed the Send button.  Before I would be clicking on it I would give recent calls, now when I push the button send, it goes to my contacts list.  I went through all the settings and can't figure out what to do to change it back!

  I get "Not registered" errors when going to sign my app RRT & CPR key, so of course that I have a few key signature which are incorrectly installed or not any (signs fine RNR).

  Unfortunately, neither my BlackBerry menus (one out of the meny do a right click on the project itself and that of the Project menu) have the option 'Install Signature keys', no more!

  So, how can I reinstall the signing keys?

• MacBook Pro fn key locked somehow WE

  I managed to make my Macbook Pro 9.1 behave as if the fn button is LIT. I pressed the fn key to make the keyboard to behave normally, is not a viable solution. I tried different combinations of fn, control, option, and command keys (well, all, really), both hold and just typing, reset the SMC, reset the Pram, restored the defaults in system preferences - keyboard. I am at a loss.

  Various Google searches suggest that others have had this problem, but I have not found a solution online.

  The problem arose after that I have had left the MBP asleep for maybe a week and then could not exceed the stage of password to wake up. Forced feeding. Restarted, took forever to get my password to enter (I understand why, now that I realized the fn key problem) and now I'm looking for an answer.

  Any help gratefully received.

  Just an update...

  I plugged a USB keyboard borrowed a Mac Pro on my MBP and it works properly. Makes me think that there is a problem of real hardware with the MBP keyboard. BTW, the problem with the position of blocking ON fn key also affects the operation of this door on the operation of a USB mouse connected to the Mac Pro keyboard and the trackpad on the MBP.

  I just noticed that the Mac Pro keyboard does not have a fn key. Wonder if that could be relevant to the operation of the USB keyboard.

  I recently bought a PC Toshiba laptop p850/049 and reformatted it for windows 7 64 x (from windows 8). After installing all the software Toshiba etc. everything worked fine but recently I noticed that the special function keys have stopped working. They certainly worked after I reformatted the computer because I remember the first time annoyed that whenever I went to refresh a webpage (f5) it would pass the trackpad as I was not familiar with the new configuration.

  Then I tried to check the BIOS setting with no luck. No matter what setting I put it to the special keys do not work.   I think that it of possible to emulate the FN key on the external keyboard.
  Toshiba HWSetup must be installed on your laptop and this tool supports several options and settings.

  Simply select the tab called keyboard and set the option
  External keyboard key FN.

  In some cases, the function key can be disabled in the BIOS.

  I reinstalled the operating system, Windows 7, and after installing all the drivers, I can't change the light from the screen by pressing FN + F6 or F7.
  Also, does not any option with FN key combination.

  I could get the Fn keys work in Win 7.

  First in landed the VAP for Win 7 and then I installed the Toshiba Flash Cards for Win 7 support utility.

  I downloaded both the European driver Toshiba page tools. I chose the tools available for Satellite L500.
  You should try this too.
