ORA-19007: Schema - is not expected

We have successfully registered a pattern, but when trying to load an XML file I get this error:
ORA-19007: Schema - is not expected
http://localhost:8080/public/xtcedev/XSD/XTCE.xsd.

Validates the XML file against the XSD file, so it shouldn't be the issue.

The XSD file begins:
<? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"? >
< xmlns:xtce schema = "http://www.omg.org/space/xtce" xmlns = "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" targetNamespace = "http://www.omg.org/space/xtce" elementFormDefault = "qualified" attributeFormDefault = "unqualified" version = "1.1" >

The XML file begins:
<? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8" standalone = "yes"? >
< xtce:SpaceSystem xmlns:xtce = "http://www.omg.org/space/xtce" name = "Orion" shortDescription = "Orion".
xmlns: xsi = "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance".
xsi: schemaLocation = "http://localhost:8080/public/xtcedev/xsd/XTCE.xsd" >

Looking at the user_xml_schemas table:
SQL > select schema_url in the user_xml_schemas;

SCHEMA_URL
-------------------------------------------------

http://localhost:8080/public/xtcedev/XSD/XTCE.xsd

I guess there is something wrong with my schemaLocation, but I have no idea what.

Your drawing is a target, then the xsi namespace: schemaLocation must be written like this: xsi: schemaLocation = "namespace-uri schema url.

In your case:

xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.omg.org/space/xtce http://localhost:8080/public/xtcedev/xsd/XTCE.xsd"

  • ORA-19007 - schema does not match

    On my database, we have two matching schemas tables in each - one for the active data and the other for data which stands for research in the long term. Both contain a pattern registered XMLType column. However, when I try to insert directly from the assets in the archive, I get the following:

    SQL > insert into eci_archv_schema.rev_item_earn_dtl_archv
    2 Select * from eci_schema.rev_item_earn_dtl
    3 where ROWNUM = 1;
    insert into eci_archv_schema.rev_item_earn_dtl_archv
    *
    ERROR on line 1:
    ORA-19007: http://xmlns.foo.com/1.3.1/ABC.xsd Schema does not match http://xmlns.foo.com/1.3.1/ABC.xsd expected.

    The only way in which I can properly move the data from one to the other is to wrap select it from one of the following:

    1 XMLType.createXML (my_xml_column.getCLOBVal ())
    2 XMLType.createNonSchemaBasedXML (my_xml_column)

    These two taking unusually long to complete and cause my check-in process is very, very slow. Apparently because the patterns were recorded under different database diagrams, they are somehow regarded as incompatible. This is the case or not they actually fit in another way? Is there an easy way to compare?

    FYI: we are 11.2.0.3, but this also happens on 11.2.0.2. Any help would be appreciated.

    What specific information would be useful: the XSD who sign us up?

    Yes, including the one you're importing (if not too big) or a simplified version if possible?

    BTW, it's binary storage object-relational or XML?

    You can check it using this:

    select sys_context('USERENV','SESSION_SCHEMA') from dual;

    Hello

    I see just a glance on the tnsnames file you are missing at least one sign =...

    You have

    ORCL

    (DESC...

    You should have

    ORCL =

    (DESC...

    There may be other issues too, but give that a try at first - you better run netmgr to allow oracle to create the file for you.

    I've learned to trust in your obfuscation you covered something important, or you are showing some apples and oranges.  Error to declare you come from not being able to find referenced in tnsnames.ora entry, but the way you say you created your link db, you hardcoded the entire connection, so he never users tnsnames.ora.

    I would change the definition of db_link

    create the database link * _DBLINK

    connect to the USER IDENTIFIED BY 'user '.

    using "REM."

    Then create an entry in your tnsnames.ora

    REM =

    (DESCRIPTION =

    (ADDRESS_LIST =

    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = *. *. *. *)(PORT = 1521))

    )

    (CONNECT_DATA = (SERVICE_NAME = REM)

    )

    )

    Also, use server name instead of the HOST = IP address

    The closer looks that you can miss brackets final closing on your original definition.

  • TO_DATETIME gives the error ORA-01861: literal does not match the format string

    When I use the following in a formula in the column in the business model, the administration of BI tool does not complain:

    TO_DATETIME (LEFT ("registration - College". "D time". " ("' Exercise ', 4) | ("/ 09/01 ', ' yyyy/mm/dd')

    But when I use it in an analysis, I get the error message:

    ORA-01861: literal does not match the format to the call of the OIC string

    The scope of practice is a varchar of 6 characters (e.g. 201213), so I do not know what causes this error. Is this because the TO_DATETIME expects something like hh as argument?

    Without the element that to_datetime is supposed to work, here is an example that I made on SampleApp406.

    Try to add the "time", but for me it has always worked without problem.

    As you say your table does not number but the strings. If you must change the table in an array of strings.

  • Getting ORA-01861: literal does not match format string whith 2 passes DATE

    Not exactly a complete Newbie, but not an expert either but it left me speechless...

    I have two DATE columns in two different tables.
    In a select statement I compare these two in the where clause.

    ... and
    Table1. Column1 = table2.column1

    I then get

    ORA-01861: literal does not match the format string (and toad has highlighted the second column)

    I made a selection on the two tables to have a look at the values and found that, the values in a table (Toad), has this format: YYYYMMDD but in the other select table produces a column of values in the format YYYY-MM-DD

    I've made a desc on the two paintings and confirmed that the two are DATE columns...

    I've never seen different date formats in the same database... Thinking about it now (I'm home and can not verify) the two tables could be in different schemas... Different schemas can display different date formats?

    In any case, I tried to_date ([column] on the two (in the where clause) and got that a nonnumeric value has been found where a numeric value has been planned (this time for the first column).)

    So I guess I ask how come two different date formats and how to find the nonnumeric value in table 1 which contains lines of 5.8 million

    Any tips/ideas/tips?

    Please check back when you get back to work... I can almost guarantee you that one (if there is not both) of these columns is NOT a data type DATE (or timestamp).

    Or if they are, you are actually handled in a view or query to convert to this type of data.

  • -Error ORA-00932: inconsistent data types: expected TANK got the NUMBER

    Here is my report query...

    and FINISH_TIME < :P1_END_DATE

                                      WHEN '1' THEN 'NON-LSF'
                                      ELSE RFA_FLAG END)
    The column data type RFA_FLAG is NUMBER(*,0)... I'm view RSA and RSA - not the area of selection, but I get the error ORA-00932: inconsistent data types: expected TANK got the NUMBER >

    I have created a static LOV with LST display 0 return
    Display NON - RSA 1 return...

    Could any body please help me in truble shooting error? How to to convert the data type to number, I have no privileges to make changes to the table...

    Mark you my previous answer as correct? (MOST POINTS!  :))

    Thanks a lot for the update of this old question
    After reading the link, I think I should ignore this error and accept him as ORA-01402

    The information that you have asked me to check me do not have an understanding of the different error types.

    Coskan,

    I didn't know this is an old thread that somehow got updated by someone else.

    Regarding your question: you're right that the output of the script is not really that useful.

    I have just run on 10.2.0.4 and in general, it seems that the output of USER_UPDATABLE_COLUMNS is incorrect regarding the views of join using the WITH CHECK OPTION.

    For example although the location_id from the TEST_V_2 column appears as non-editable (probably because of the rule that "the columns used in the join expression" cannot be modified in a join view when you use the WITH CHECK OPTION) I can run successfully your insert if statement I choose a location_id less than 2000.

    It seems that summed up the difference if you join more than two tables, you'll always get the error "ORA-01733" when you try to insert in the join with the enabled OPTION CHECK view. For example to add a third table TEST_V_2 which does not change the original view, but simply joined meaning for example COUNTRIES to LOCATIONS, will show the same behavior to throw an ORA-01733, however it works fine when the omission of the WITH CHECK OPTION.

    So overall, I tend to say it is really a limitation of the implementation and it is not actually an ORA-01402 but looks like Oracle is simply trying to tell you: Amendment No. INSERT in this possible view. Updates however seem to work, at least I can find some examples of work.

    There seems to be other restrictions of implementation with the WITH CHECK OPTION in place even when the only membership as two tables, for example when trying to join the COUNTRIES and PLACES but by selecting only in PLACES and by using a filter on the COUNTRY_ID predicate fails with ORA-01733 when this predicate is applied to the COUNTRY. COUNTRY_ID but it works if this predicate is applied to PLACES. COUNTRY_ID.

    I could imagine that Oracle has quietly added some of these restrictions with each patch set due to the angle of the case/adverse reactions encountered. I saw this for other features, too.

    Kind regards
    Randolf
