  I checked in my console (OEM) the status of the user apex_040200 and status is expired, but not locked...

  In fact, it seems to be a known issue with Apex 4.2.2 and there is a note in Metalink (support.oracle.com) on this subject:Doc ID 1579712.1

  Although it is not documented while the script asks you a new password, you must keep in mind the following:

  Password is not consistent with the rules of this site password complexity.
  * Password must contain at least one alphabetic character ().
  * Password must contain at least one punctuation character ().
  * Password must contain at least one uppercase alphabetic character.
  * Password must contain at least one alphabetic character tiny.

  I'm creating an application that uses the authentication of the APEX and characteristics (work) registration and forgot password forms (does not work).
  
  My I forgot the password is public (requires authentication). The user provides the user name and a secret answer, which are validated and then provides the new password. I try to use htmldb_util.reset_pw to reset the password of the user, but it does not work.
  
  I have a process on the new password page call a PL/SQL anonymous block that looks like this (see below), where username = P16_ITEM1 and P18_ITEM1 = new password.

  I don't know how to send a message of success/failure of such PL/SQL block to the APEX, but that's a separate issue, I guess.

  When executing code outside the Apex which depends on the security defined Apex group, perform the following steps before your own code:

• Laptop HP 2000: user password screen forgot lock

  I forgot the user password screen on laptop from HP running windows 2000 8, just after the adjustment for the first time.  There is no option to log in as administrator (only the personal user appears).  There is no personal data / files on the PC.  Need instructions step by step to retrieve or reset the password.  OR another option would be to default factory reset and start again, but once again need directions to do so.

  You do not say what user passwords you talk, after replacing the hard drive which will be then require you to reinstall the operating system

  If you refer to the online user passwords (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), they will remain the same.

  If you are referring to your Vista account permissions to access, with a new hard drive and you reinstall the operating system, you will need to put in place all the user accounts and passwords user again for them.

  I'm trying to configure a RADIUS server to authenticate my users on a couple of routers.

  Now, I did my initial configuration on a router in 1811 and everything works correctly, moving to 2801 production router that I get into trouble. Try our second production 2801 it works fine again. I'm breaking my head over what could be bad, but can't find anything!

  What I see in my outputlog FreeRadius:

  Therefore, the GET of the user-password is encrypted somehow by Cisco. The password is 'test' for now. If I connect my two other Cisco routers, I see the password for plaintex in FreeRadius log (as I expect).

  Is there a reason why this 2801 router is acting weird and put a username-password different encoding in the mix?

  The two 2801 running the same version of IOS.

  I have a client application that connects to OIM 11 g R2PS2. Users connect in the client application to trigger a request for service and the client application will submit applications to the IOM.

  Connection to the end users to the client application using OAM authentication. So I need to find a mechanism to get the end-user password so that I can use the same in the OIMClient API to connect to IOM.

  If I login as XELSYSADM in the client application, is it possible that I can ask the user password and decrypt the same? I tried to use the code below, but I'm getting null pointer exception.

  If you want to use the client of the IOM to send the request as long as the logged on user, IE of OAM session, then you might just get the context of the session of the user so the IOM customer queries will be made in this context. There is no need to decrypt the password for the user in this scenario.

  I migrate data from external system profile to ATG. The external system uses the SHA256 algorithm to hash the user password. And ATG also uses the same algorithm. But I found that the string encodings are different in the two systems. So I customized the implementation for the hash of the password in the ATG. I guess that the same hashing algorithm of password to use in publication environments and CSC also for internal users. But the user "admin" is created when data is imported into the system, initially using script CIM. I think that the admin user password is not chopped with OOB implementation (SHA256) because I consider than salt password 'admin' in the table dpi_user in the edition of schema. Can someone let me know how the admin user password is encrypted?

Converting data via the API "ota_event_api.create_class", I get the error "ORA-20001: OTA_443321_EVT_OFF_INVALID_ACT: I have looked for help on the forums, but so far I am unable to get any relevant information. On some sites it says that we should pass a value non-zero to 'p_offering_id '. I do the same thing and passing a value to this parameter but I get the same error.

  Working on the updating of the database user passwords do not work for front end users but the same passwords work at the db level.

  We backup before refresh and restraint after the update, but if the user tries to connect to db, they receive the error invalid password/username.

  Do you mean that you update the column SPARE4 of $ USER (which is a table, not a view)? I don't think it will work, because the password is salted with a random string that will be different in the two databases. It might work if you return to the use of passwords for 10g, which are salty with the user name. See here, the 10 GB hash stored in the PASSWORD column is the same in the two databases, but the 11g in SPARE4 hash is different:

  Well, I found the solution to my problem and is simply create the segment you want to use in your flexfield without VALUESET ALL IN PASSING.

  I'm with some problems when you try to change an oracle user password. After using the alter command, it gives the message "Change user", but when I try to connect with, it throws the error ORA-01017...
  The strange part is... it works fine on my XE 11 g!
