  Hi, I finally pulled out straight and everything works fine.

• Monitor goes to sleep during playback of a dvd in wmc

  I browse my residential wireless to my server in the Solution Explorer. I mount a disk image file video dvd (iso, I'm 1507 of them) in the remote location on a virtual drive.

  I installed an external software 'The Maxifier'. I go to the icon and choose the start page, WMC opens on the second display (projector). This process prevents it being trapped on the second screen of my mouse. Select (with mouse) movies/dvd and everythings great.

  Unfortunately displays to sleep while the movie is playing (prevents other dvd playback software it) Screensaver is set to 'none' If food options (when to turn off the monitor) is set to 10 minutes they will sleep in 10 min. If the value 2 hrs. they leave in 2 hours. I can move the mouse or press a keyboard, and they wake up back. Everything works normally except the software MCE preventing sleep monitor during playback. cannot find any setting to solve this problem.

  The problem is the remote computer is in my room, Planner normally wakes up the computer in the middle of the night, doing what he has to do, then fall back to sleep. (must be the internal code that the interview wakes the computer no display signal is sent unless there is user imput - oh well) Once the Scheduler wakes the computer it's not going to go back to sleep until the time of power options is obtained without user imput. (another pain in the neck) The sleep time can be lower timer monitor. If I set the monitor to 3 hours (longer than the movie), while I don't have the move disrupton, then when the movie ended I have to remember to put in a shorter time, or what I've done is completely close the box every night and leave the timer at 3 hours.

  Simplify the problems

  1 MCE does not monitor to fall asleep during DVD playback.

  2 when the Scheduler wakes the computer from sleep mode and finishes his tasks he does not put the rear computer to sleep.

  Remember that the monitor and the computer will go to sleep under the power options are set to, not a pilot or external software issue preventing sleep.

  I use Win 7.1 on a Dell Precision M6500 Icore 7 laptop w / 8G of ram and video card 1 G. I'm a little more 01:00 m in a bunch of clips of edition together and everything's fine. I added a clip of 5 min. and about halfway into it there is a loud noise hovering like an ambulance & car squad races somewhere. The last clip plays fine in itself. I tried both with & without making a record with the same results. The previous 17 individual records are between 5 and 9 minutes in length about everything to size 16: 9 HD. Is there an upper limit to the size of the file? I want to export about 01:45 min DVD when I finished. We never seen it before? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, between Mundos

  You are only limited, for the most part, by your hardware. Who, in your case, won't be a limitation at all.

  However, you should know that a standard DVD contains only about 70 minutes of video. You can configure the program to lower the quality of your video and press a little more about - but there is a limit to how much you can press on a drive.

  I don't think that your audio sounds to playback from the timeline are due to a problem of length of timeline.

  What is the format of these clips that you put on the Timeline? A while back, that I remember what a user of Premiere Elements has got some strange noises during playback. The problem has been traced to the use of Xvid.avi format which is probably one of the worst types of formats for use in Premiere Elements. Look at the file formats of all clips to know with certainty what is in the mix.

  All clips have been removed from YouTube with a program called Camtasia (https://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.html). Form AVI, codec Intel Indeo IYUV, @ 850x475dpi. Stereo PCM 48 kHz, 16-bit, 172 kb/s. All the clips played very well in different places in time line. I used this clip somewhere earlier, but decided to add about 30 min of another video seized. Stretching of my total time 01:00 min I then added that the clip of 5 min. and I heard this sound to halfway through it. I used Premiere Pro as a hobby about 10-12 years before they start grouping like CSx & you could burn 2 full hrs. on the disk. I did not know that a dvd would hold only ~ 70 minutes of material with elements/P. I pulled this last clip & everything is good so far (seems to be followed to the place on the track). I guess I'll stop at this length & switch to a few bells and whistles and burn it. I really appreciate your comments and suggestions. First has changed a lot since I have used it before, well mostly what I see so far. It's nice to get back in the game. Let you not marked some time while melting, someone has an idea U. During playback of content video plays normally in the preview window, but the marker of time in the timeline panel locks into place and not moving from left to right in real time. When I stop reading, then the marker jumps to the position in the timeline, it is supposed to be. Makes it much more difficult to change. I checked my preferences and couldn't find anything that would cause this erratic behavior. Any input will be appreciated. Thank you.

The screen turns white for about a second, then it shows some horizontal lines, and it goes back to normal. And after a few seconds, he begins anew.   Figured out. Change refresh rate of 60 Hz 40 Hz p p and it solved the problem.

  BTW, HP helpdesk is completely useless... He does not call them – at least their 'free' in India support is completely incompetent.

  I have a very high utilization of the processor in the process 'svchost.exe LocalServiceNetworkRestricted' during playback of an event in an event log in Windows 2008 64 SP02 using local or remote WMI.  The same happens using Wbemtest or C++ WMI code.  The use of WbemTest, "Open forum" (identical to one the GetObject of WMI API) read just one of recent events in the event log:

  Win32_NTLogEvent.logfile = "application", recordNumber = 2615657 (in this case, it was the id since the last event in the very large to the Application event log)

  takes 3/4 seconds consuming thant plus 50% of the monitored computer CPU.  This only occurs when the event log is very large (in my case 1 million records), the event log contains about 10000 events just fine.

  The problem is that I read the complete paper in a remote program and this product CPU usage charge too much CPU to the monitored computer.  I do not read the newspaper of the events one by one, but I'm using WQL queries but I do some GetObjects and the peformance is really terrible.

  Any idea what to change or search?

  A few things that might help...

  There may be a compatibility issue with some of your
  source files. Convert your audio files to the. WMA
  format before you import into Movie Maker can be useful to
  a try.

  Several formats are apparently compatible with
  Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

  Photos - bmp
  Video - wmv
  Audio - wav, wma, wmv

  Also, before you save it... go to... Tools / Options / Compatibility
  tab and disable all filters / OK.

  It may be interesting to try to save the project in DV - AVI format...
  (the file size will be much larger, but the result may be better)

  Type of... CTRL + P (or go to...) File / save movie file)
  to open the wizard movie recording.
