  The problem is caused by the name of a function in a JavaScript to the document level. The programmer named 'calculate', which is in conflict with the document to calculate property. Previous versions allowed you to overwrite a document in this way property, but Acrobat DC does not work. I must say that it was a bug in previous versions that have allowed this. It is not possible to overwrite other properties of a document in the same way. So the solution is to rename the function (for example, to "calculate1") and update all the code in the form that calls the function.

  My Department is evaluating the development tools to create new web applications and possibly migrate current buit applications with Oracle Forms 6.0.5.34.0. Our database is Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.8.0 - 64 bit.
  
  We read that the new version of Oracle Forms is Oracle Forms Services 11 g. Is Oracle Forms 11g compatible with Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.8.0 Services - 64 bit? or we will have to migrate our Oracle 11g RDBMS?
  
  If our database is compatible, what would we have needed to develop and deploy applications with Oracle Forms 11 g Services?

  That it is compatible or not: 9.2.0.8 database is supported, which means you get patches for it. So even if it's compatible I would opt to upgrade to a newer version, because I wouldn't feel uncomfortable that the product is not supported by out in production.

• Form close working after the database is rebuilt

  On our development/test system, we periodically delete all tables, recreate them and then load our test data. Invariably, any trigger that calls another form stops working. These calls forms are in the topic-Next-key triggers when-click mouse and when button pressed. The underlying table structures do not change during the rebuild of the database.
  
  We use the 10.2.0.1.0, 10.1.2.0.2 forms database.
  
  What is the cause for this, and what is the solution to avoid this?

  What exactly do you mean by "if I recreate the file...". ». Are just a recompilation of the FMB? If so, it looks like there is a difference in data bases. It can be a rowtype, or another definition of stored packages and procedures.
  What is the code in your trigger? And trigger a time new form instance (or any other trigger that fires when a form is open)? This could also be the problem.

  The calculations do not work as they use Javascript to perform the operation and version 5.0.x Lollipop has problem with Javascript that is fixed in the version 5.1.x.

  I've added a few new features, but I don't know how or why they would prevent the script attached to the click event of the button to run.

  • Changing the Action on the form change blocks of text and the buttons are visible.
  • There are additional validation steps in the click event.

  I expected to see messages pop up when you click on the button "Send the request", since I didn't finish fields required in the validation process, but nothing happens at all. The dynamic changes that appear when you select a button Action radio seem to work well.

  Now, we have improved the ACS to 3.1 and it stops working.

  ACS 3.1 is slightly changed it returns the class attribute in its packages to respond when a user authenticates, this was done for session management purposes. Normally, this has no effect on everything that you are authenticating against, but the 3000 uses this class attribute to force VPn users in a specific group. For example, you can force the VPN users in specific groups of 3000 by returning the class attribute so that the user with a specific group VPN3000 name, so any group they have actually configured in the VPN client, they find themselves in this other group and inherit all settings in this group.

  The error "password of group is not configured" comes from the fact that ACS3.1 returns a string in the format "dfhsdfjsdfshhhhghgkgekjfkjguwywe" (or something like that anyway :-)) in the Class attribute. The 3,000 who interprets as you want to force this user in this group. Of course this group name does not exist on the 3000, and you get rejected.

  There are two ways around this:

  -Move the hub to what anyone higher than what you're running. From v3.5.3 ignored 3000 this format of the attribute and access connections works very well even if ACS always sends the return attribute.

  -Change the user or group ACS and actually return the appropriate form the class attribute:

  UO = groupname;

  where groupname is the name of group VPN3000 you want this user to be placed in (it may or may be not the same as the one they set up in their client). Make sure that UO is in capital letters and do not forget the semicolon. The attribute Class is so just check 25, RADIUS (IETF) attribute cela and off you go, you may need to activate under Interface Config - RADIUS (IETF) Firstly if you see under the ACS user/group.

  For what it's worth, problem scripts are on the first and last master page, while those who are working is on normal pages.

  The goal is to reuse a partially completed form for several different phases of an approval process. Each version gets a different title and a further subform is visible during the phases of 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

  Here are the global workflow:

  • Phase 1
    1. The form begins with the title of Phase 1 and the additional subform 'hidden '.
    2. A remote user fills out the form and return to the program coordinator.
  • Phase 2/3/4
  1. The Coordinator saves a copy of the form with a different name.
  2. The Coordinator checks a check box "for admin use only" to show a group of radio buttons. Each option modifies the title and sets the presence of additional subform to "visible".
  3. The Coordinator Unchecks the check box "for admin use only" to hide the radio buttons.

  The title is in a text field. Scripts change the rawValue of the field for each option.

  In this case, I have the following script to initialize it and calculate the event of the text box:

  After I extend for reader, nothing works except the checkbox. The title does not change, and the subform never appears.

  Well, it seems that the interactive objects on master pages are problematic. Using a few of message boxes, we discovered that the Initialize event fires whenever a radio button on a master page is selected, but not when the radio button is in the body of the form.

  So whenever we clicked on the option button on the master page, the event initialize the value of the group just exclusion set back to the default value (which was zero, in this case). So the title never changed, because the radio button setting glue.

  For this form, I found a way to remove the option buttons in the master page. Not only the titles in headers change correctly, the form also works with the enabled extensions Reader!

  I don't know what problem was hanging me up - the buttons on the master page or Reader extensions - or if they are tied together in some way. But the moral of the story for me, anyway, no more buttons on master pages. Hope this helps someone else!

  I have a guess on why it has stopped working. Firefox 40 has some changes to how extensions can work with the user interface, so quite a few extensions that have been more than one year must be updated for Firefox 40. It has been updated on January 10, 2012.

  Anyway, the way of 'long' to display the passwords saved in Firefox is through the Options page, the Security Panel, the saved passwords button.

  When you say after you speed up Firefox, do you mean you used the reset feature? You can tell because Firefox will create a new 'Old Firefox Data' folder on your desktop when you reset.
