"Organize bookmarks" is completely absent on my Firefox 5.01. As a result cannot export bookmarks. That is what it is?
It seems to be a missing menu item, 'Organize Favorites '. I want to export bookmarks and can not.
This menu item has changed in Firefox4, to display all bookmarks.

After updated my Firefox to v.32.0.3, trying to comment or upvote a comment on YouTube results in a pop-up window brief which closed until it has loaded, then on the page YouTube refreshes. I tried to run Firefox with disabled modules, but the problem remains. Commenting on using a different browser (Chrome) works perfectly. Has anyone else encountered this problem? A few tips on how to solve it?
Thank you!
I was see this problem for many weeks now on 3 different computers - running Windows 8.1, 7 and Vista, respectively. I'm happy to report that I found the solution. In the Options-> privacy dialogue, you make an Exception for the 3rd party Cookies from Google.com. It's sad that OP should go through all this irrelevant advice.

In the Menu bookmarks of Firefox, does some "ORGANIZE BOOKMARKS"
Hi all
On my Macbook, I have Firefox and all my favorites are contained inside. I try to export my favorites from Firefox, and then import them into my Safari browser. I have read pretty much every Firefox tutorial and am always hit a dead-end. If I followed the tutorial of Firefox, I am led to believe that by clicking in the Firefox status bar at the top of my computer, on "Bookmarks" (which is just to the right of the 'history'), I'll see a drop-down menu, and then I'll be able to scroll down to "Organize bookmarks" when I click on "Bookmarks", indeed there is a menu menu... but unlike the tutorial where you can clearly see "Organize Favorites", this does not seem to me. I am so perplexed and so frustrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all, so

I am running Firefox 5 with no further questions, on a 32-bit Windows 7 laptop. I want to copy my favorites on my laptop to work using Chrome, but I can't find the command "export" in the 5!
View all bookmarks replaces organize bookmarks and has same shortcut key ('Ctrl + Shift + B")
then "import and backup" then "export HTML code.

Firefox 5.0, Windows 7
The images and text on this page ( https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Exporting%20bookmarks%20to%20an%20HTML%20file ) seems to have not yet been updated for Firefox 4 and 5. I'll bring that.
From Firefox 4 (now 5) and "organize bookmarks" was changed to "show all bookmarks". Other than that, you can follow the instructions on this page.

After trying to import my favorites saved in an html file, using bookmarks > organize bookmarks > import and backup > import html, nothing is being updated from saved files
This isn't "machine code", it's like a JSON backup file is formatted (except it usually shows no line breaks, it's a long line when displaying in most text programs or in Firefox). Rename a JSON file as HTML does not work, the formats are completely different.
If you replace this file in jsonextension, you should be able to restore these data in Firefox.
Bookmarks > organize bookmarks-> import and backup - restore - Choose file...
