OS 10.6 obsolete?
Mac OS 10.6 is obsolete?
I'm afraid so. Apple has not updated for security for 10.6 Snow Leopard over the years.

There is no such thing as an ID to iCloud. You can connect to iCloud with an Apple ID, but that's all. I don't understand what you're trying to do.

I recently installed Adobe Flash Player version 19.0.0.226. However, the auditor of Mozilla plugin read obsolete. Then, I went to the plugin list, scrolled down to Shockwave Flash and click on "details". I found that there are two files .dll, NPSW32_19_0_0_207.dll and NPSW32_19_0_0_226.dll. I think that the auditor thinks that Adobe Flash version 19.0.0.207 is installed. I hope someone can understand what is the problem.
Good news! I restarted Windows 10. Then I opened Mozilla Firefox and ran the auditor of the plugin. Flash is up to date. The old traces of Flash version 19.0.0.207 has been deleted.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I've updated to the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, but Firefox has always said that it is obsolete. I had the Version of Adobe Reader installed 11.0.12.18. The Adobe Acrobat Reader DC uninstalled Adobe Reader software. I read that the DC version is still buggy. I think I'll uninstall Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and reinstall Adobe Reader. Furthermore, I haven't opened the DC application and updates, but there is not. When I had Adobe Reader installed I noticed in the Firefox options under applications menu there is an option to use Adobe Reader (by default). I think I'll try this option. Any advice would be appreciated.
Obsolete false warning for Adobe Acrobat Reader is a known problem, but unfortunately there is no way to repair at the moment (we are not the developers on this forum, just guys who want to help users).
Take a look at this previous thread for more information.

I had not considered the release of Secunia PSI in awhile until yesterday and was surprised to discover that he pointed out an old version of Firefox (v27.x) that was obsolete and should be removed. The installation path for this v27.x entry is in a completely different subdirectory structure of Firefox C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla in which resides the current installation of v36.0.1 - obsolete version is installed in the structure of C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Mozilla Firefox where «...» "refers to my specific user name (which is legitimate, I'm the only person using this desktop computer).
I started using Revo Uninstaller (licensed version) to force the uninstall of this executable specific v27.x, but after analysis that he presented purpose actions that would run the uninstaller integrated and identified that v36.0.1 would also be removed simultaneously. Is there a Protocol by which I can remove the old version and all of its entries in the registry without affecting the current version and its registry entries (and profile, etc.)?
- 1 Download Firefox full installation for all languages and systems {web link}
- 2 Uninstall Firefox on your computer {web link}
DO NOT REMOVE your profiles.
Note: Make sure that all Firefox have been removed. - 3 after that, restart the computer. Then, run the full installer.

1 G, iPod Touch, is it really obsolete?
I have an iPod Touch 1st generation, want to store music on it for the car.
Apple told me that it is obsolete and cannot sync to iTunes later than 10.3.1. I tried to downgrade iTunes with no luck.
I'd just throw it because it still works fine. Any ideas?
The problem seems to be with iTunes 12.3 and later versions:
iTunes could not support iPod Touch (after the system update 21/10/2015)
The above can help.
Have what version of iTunes you tried?
What computer OS and version?
What exactly happens when you try? ITunes sees the iPod?

I can't play Flash videos on any Web site using Firefox 35.0.1
The latest version of Shockwave Flash is 16.0.0.296 from 2015-02-12.
The deadlock message is obsolete, because it refers to a set of versions of Flash much earlier.
All versions of Flash has a vulnerability, or are there some that are actually clean (for more than a few seconds)? Can someone fix the deadlock message to reflect the real reason for blocking?
Where can I find a version that is not vulnerable, or is it a utopia?
Because 16.0.0. 296 is not aware, because it is vulnerable to exploits criticism proved in nature. The 16.0.0 Flash Player. 305 and 13.0.0. 269 ESR are the current versions of Windows/Mac OSX since Feb 4/5.

https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/blocked/More updates Adobe Flash Player are for reasons of security and stability fixes. However before December 9, Mozilla is not added all versions of Flash to the red list since the beginning of 2013. The reason now is because critical exploits that is in older versions (not with corrections) and Adobe tried to fix with five updates for 16.0 Flash itself since 9 dec. Mozilla only adds Extensions and Plugins versions to list when it is security, stability or malware.
As to why some receive the old Flash 11 blocklisting I can't say.

drive obsolete error Firefox flash does not in internet explore
Firefox error drive flash as being obsolete. This does not happen on the internet explore. also when I have more drive that the error firefox does not remember returns the same error. "this record is vulnerable and must be updated. "
with a red circle and a bar.
also flash seems to crash frequently. tried to update flash player and firefox locked up and ran very slow. is there an alternative to the RAS player.Firefox needs a different version of Flash to use Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. For some reason, Adobe has created different versions for IE and Netscape browsers (what Firefox was initially based on) all the way back at the end of the 1990s. Then when Chrome came with its own plugin API, Adobe creates a 3rd version of Flash for Google.
You can download the latest version of Flash from this page:

I use Ubuntu 14.
These last days (say, a week) I get messages saying that the Flash is obsolete, and firefox blocks the plugin, so I have to unlock ('allow') every time that I get to a new page. It's no big deal, but it's boring and, for example, I can't watch movies on my page of favorite movie...
In the firefox Plugin Check page, I get a message 'to day', but it shows the version 11.2.202.418, which is also the version of Ubuntu Software Center and current version is 11.2.202.425. I tried this https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keep-flash-up-to-date-and-troubleshoot-problems#w_updating-flash for a manual installation instructions, but cannot get to the place where firefox is installed.I already moved chrome Firefox because of repeated malfuntioning of chrome, I have nowhere to go! (pity me).
Thanks to you all! And sorry for the spelling mistakes / syntactic possibilities, English is not my first language.
I think Unbuntu would have an update now that 11.2.202.425 has been out of Adobe since December 9 as 11.2.202.424 and is more vulnerable.
Find the .mozilla folder at / and create a folder called plugins , so you can place the libflashplayer.so file here.
Now, all installations of Firefox and SeaMonkey will be able to use it.
Flash 11.2.202.425 tarball is to

Firefox 34,05 incorrectly identifies obsolete plugins
From midnight 12/12/14, Firefox started blocking plugins (in this case, Adobe Flash and Java Deployment Toolkit, possibly others that I have just been to websites that use those), saying that they are obsolete. When I click 'Update Now', the page state of the Plugin tells me that all my plugins are up to date. (I'm running Flash 15.0.0.239 and Java Deployment Toolkit 10.71.2.14, for the record.)
I got the point of this feature and I really want to turn permanently on "always allow", but having to click the two guests 'allow' whenever I load a Web site that has Flash is quickly making intolerable web browsing. I'm about to switch to Google Chrome on it.
The 15.0.0.239 was not the last Flash 15 version as15.0.0.242 and older are blocked and vulnerable. The 15.0.0.246 was not affected even if according to Adobe.
The plugin check page must be manually updated version which is said is current can't be said for Flash. Check the version of Flash to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
For Firefox on Windows, the latest version of Flash player is 16.0.0.235 and the version of support extended 13.0.0.259 to https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html
Chrome (pepper flash) and IE (activex) has versions of flash player are also affected according to the https://helpx.adobe.com/security/products/flash-player/apsb14-27.html
Flash Player Plugin 14.0 to 15.0.0.242 (click-to-play) has been blocked for your protection. https://addons.Mozilla.org/Firefox/blocked/p798
Flash Player Plugin 10.3.183.66 to 13.0.0.258 (click-to-play) has been blocked for your protection. https://addons.Mozilla.org/Firefox/blocked/p794
Flash Player Plugin on Linux 11.2.202.424 and below (click-to-play) has been blocked for your protection. https://addons.Mozilla.org/Firefox/blocked/p796
links of blocklist fixed as Mozilla made a list of two part for Win/Mac versions on December 12 while not9 ESR version block the 13.0.0.25 he stuck to the single list December 11.
