OS at the bottom! Where Microsoft Support?
Have portable 1.5 year. Hard drive crashed - very predictable. Have the license code for microsoft vista. Have installed Ubuntu Linux for free until I can get a replacement download. Please direct me to where I can download a copy to replace Linux.
Most laptops and many OEM desktop computers (HP, Sony, etc.) come with a picture of factory restore on a special partition on the hard drive. The factory restore process is normally called by pressing a key of function (such as F11) to start the computer. There will be a message as to what function key press the screen when you start your computer. You can also consult the manual of your computer or the computer mftr.'s site, or contact technical support to learn how to restore your computer if you plant from each computer mftr. He does it differently - sometimes even between models.
These machines also generally have a utility to create physical recovery disks in case the hard drive needs to be replaced or the factory restore image is somewhat damaged. If you have not created the recovery image recovery physical and/or damaged disks, contact technical support of computer mftr. to order a set of recovery disks. It is normally very expensive, around $20-25. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

For some reason any the fact when my laptop HP screen goes off (as I put it to the University after a short period for battery power saving)--> takes a few seconds every time I turn on the screen.
If I try to cancel, it freezes, like I said and I cost several minutes trying to get the word back open so that I can keep up with notes.
In any case, I did not all printers to the University listed under "My printers" so it should not really be trying to connect to one...
How can I get this to stop?

Original title: Vista update error
A few weeks ago, I noticed that I could not be updated. Whenever I turn on, I see the Update icon in the status bar & it says it can not update. When I update, I see this...
I tried the fix from Microsoft a tool couple of times, but it cannot solve the problem either. When I click on details in this tool, I get this information...
Verified issues Details of detection 6Environment variables Windows Update are incorrect Checked 6Windows Update, error no Checked 6Corrupt registry Patch keys Checked Detects the cache fix corrupted or missing6Windows Update Services are not running Checked 6Encryption services components are not registered Checked Details of detection I also tried the windows key + R, then opened msdt /cab 'C:\Users\Administrator\Downloads\WindowsUpdateDiagnostic.diagcab' that the tool does not solve the problem either, it gives me this message:
I have not noticed a specific to an error number associated with the update, but yesterday I got an error on windows Defender. I looked up a fix for this, but it has not yet changed nothing about the updates.

For example, the Date of beginning of life cycle shows 31/05/2001 (March 5) and the end of Support Date extended watch 07/12/2001 (12 July or December 7).
The date format is month/date/year. This format is for the start date and end date for extended Support.
In your example, the start date is May 31, 2001, and the end date would be July 12, 2001.I hope this helps.

instead of the lower left corner and I don't know how to put it back on the bottom
Somehow, my son moved my taskbar to the bottom of the screen of my laptop on the left side of the screen. My STARTUP icon is now in the upper left corner instead of the bottom left corner and I don't know how to put it back on the bottom. How do come back on the bottom where it goes?
Right-click on thew start button | Properties | Tab taskbar | Location of the taskbar on the screen. Back at bottom. -
These small buttons at the bottom of the panels of the Illustrator...
You know... like the little trash can. Or the "new layer" button.
What the devil are they called?
I tried to look it up, but I don't know where to start because I don't know the official name for them. When I created my group I did a CSXSWindowedApplication for reasons of resizing. When I did I got the little "plateau" at the bottom where the trash can button automatically would be if it were in the layers panel. I would like to move the buttons I use now in this little sandbox, but I don't know how or what to look for that attempt. Any tips? Thank you
Bill
The 'plateau' is called a status bar, and you can add text to show him a few 'status' (i.e. the status = 'Some status')
If you want to put the buttons at the bottom of your Panel, you'll probably want to hide the status bar:
ShowStatusBar is kept = "false".
The buttons must be regularly buttons at the bottom of your swf file. If your Panel is resizable, you leave about 20 pixels for the resizing handle.

When I turn on my computer until I turn it off, jucheck.exe flashes at the bottom of the screen. He wants to have access to the computer, but when I say no, it continues to blink. What - what, do I need it, how do I get it off the screen?
Hello
That's most of the malware.
If you need search malware here's my recommendations - they will allow you to
scrutiny and the withdrawal without ending up with a load of spyware programs running
resident who can cause as many questions as the malware and may be harder to detect as
the cause. No one program cannot be used to detect and remove any malware. Added that often easy
to detect malicious software often comes with a much harder to detect and remove the payload. Then
its best to be thorough than paying the high price later now too. Check with them to one
extreme overkill point and then run the cleaning only when you are sure that the system is clean. It can be made repeatedly in Mode safe - F8 tap that you start, however, you must also run

Control Panel / sounds / playback. Double-click the device you want to operate. Click the level and place it where you want and that should take care of it.

How to get Vista recovery Media or the Vista recovery Partition on your computer back to factory settings.
There is no Vista free download legal available.
Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
Ask them if you can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
They will tell you how to do this.
Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.
Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed. There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
