  I just bought a BDP - S390 Sony BluRay player.  When you are connected via HDMI to my TV Sony KDL55EX710, the BluRay logo appears and then the signal is lost.  My old player of Blu - Ray (Panasonic) has played fine is not the TV.  I also connected the BDP-S390 to my TV in the bedroom (naxa) via HDMI and it plays very well.  What is going on?  All products Sony shouldn't work with them?  I hope I don't have to return this player.

  You can try the following troubleshooting steps.

  Press the STOP button on the BD Player for more than 10 seconds to reset the resolution of video output to the lowest resolution and check if it helps.
  Also, be sure that the 'video output Format"is set to"HDMI"of the configuration [screen settings].
  If the problem is still not resolved,

  Turn off player and unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
  Allow the unit to remain without electricity for one minute and then, plug it into the power outlet.
  Turn off the TV, unplug it from the power outlet and plug it back again after one minute.
  Disconnect, then reconnect the HDMI cable.

  After a new installation of Vista 64 Ultimate w/SP1, download and install SP2.  Several updates auto installed without problem, but the languages other than English are not being offered as if they were on the previous installation.  I have deparately need to install one of them.
  How can I get the update to bring me languages?  MUI, I think they are.

  Microsoft said that SP2 with full language support will not be available until later.

• OTP-S3100 will not connect to Netflix

  Have installed a BDP-S3100 and cannot connect to Netflix. He spent a lot of time on the chat support without success (both with Sony and Netflix). Here are the details:

  (1) Internet connection is fine (AT & T DSL). Have you tried both on the WiFi and direct Ethernet connection and the symptoms are identical.

  (2) access to the many other internet services (Amazon Prime, Pandora, YouTube) without problem.

  (3) selection of Netflix in the menu or with the Netflix button gives the same results.

  (4) error message is "unable to connect to Netflix. Please try again or visit: www.netflix.com/tvhelp, " and provides the options"Try Again,"(which does nothing) and 'Leave'."

  (5) have restarted (with long disconnect times) the Blu Ray player and my router once more than I can count.

  (6) have tried resetting to factory settings (all settings) and initialization of personal information several times.

  (9) as stated above, I'm updating on the firmware. Suspected a misinstallation of the portion of the firmware netflix app, so I downloaded the CD to try to reinstall the latest firmware. The BDP-S3100 doesn't let me do... it checks that the version on the CD is the same thing and then stops the installation process.

  (10) tech support asked me to try www.speedtest.com from the browser in the OTP-S3100. It wouldn't connect (I know that the Internet itself is correct, because I could go to google). When I test the speed of the internet from a laptop that is connected either wireless or wired, I pretty much get the same internet speed: approx. 5.6 Mbps download. It's enough to watch instantly on Netflix. In addition, the errors I get are not indicating a speed too slow, they can not connect and the host was not found.

  Any suggestions would be welcome!

• vCenter not offering not recommendations for DRS

I'm unable to access Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, YouTube, etc. The player exceeded all by performing the ' absorbing Internet content...» (3/3) "step which is necessary to obtain a registration code to enable internet video services. Customer support says it's the result of my slow internet connection, which is ridiculous because the iPhone 4 in my household have no problem in streaming + Hulu, Netflix, Pandora, and Youtube. The player can access the internet. I have verified this by navigating with success on the web and run the network diagnostics which showed the link was 'OK '. Anyone know of a possible solution for this problem?

  If you have access to video services like Hulu, Pandora, Internet then you should not register the player in the Web Essentials My Sony site.

  Test the speed of the Internet being used from the link below.

  Internet connection speed minimum of 2.5 Mbps or greater is required for the standard definition (SD) programming and 10 Mbps or higher is required for programming in high definition (HD).

• OTP-S390 - issues with Amazon instant video bonus?

  For 2 weeks now, I think that after the update to the newest firmware, I have massive problems play via the video player Sony Bluray with Amazon premium instant stuff.

  I did some troubleshooting and I came to the conclusion that it is either the cable going to the focus in my cable modem or the drive itself.

  I can read the same videos very well without any problems on my computer on the same internet connection which provides the connectivity of Bluray player.

  The real problem is I'll watch a show, in this case, Fringe season 2 in HD - and it stops just at random play. I can stop and start from where I left and it will either work or it won't. But I can go right to my PC and launch an episode and watch it completely thorugh without problem.

  It's going to be a fix for this anytime soon? Is anyone else having problems?

  In addition, this problem has been reported to occur with certain movies from Amazon Video on demand (VOD) that are more than 202 minutes in length. Movies stop playback after 202 minutes. According to Amazon, the problem is caused by the way that video content is encoded. Amazon is being contained affected re-encoding.

  I see that you have questions about your collate function. I would like to help!

  I recommend to remove printer ink cartridges and reset the power supply.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

  I suggest also download and run the HP print and Scan Doctor.

  I installed the Inc. using the ZIP of the eclipse install mechanism.

  When I check the installed Plugins both are listed in the installed plugins.

  But when I go into the preferences of BlackBerry / installed components are not in the drop-down list.

  What I did wrong?

  Thanks for your reply. I solved the problem by reinstalling the eclipse. I think I broke my eclipse installation by removing the plugins manually installation of eclipse.

  I have a Western Digital MyBookLive NAS drive and I copied all my. MKV and. MPG files. I can play. MPG files using the PS3 and BDP-S790, but not able to play. MKV files. Is this common? In the forums, I have seen that two of them should be able to play. MKV files on Server DLNA network. One has faced this problem?

  In fact, I solved my problem with the Synology NAS and the fact that it worked with the WIFI connection and not with the ethernet connection.

  To use the S790 as a streamer with a Synology NAS media, it is necessary to do the following on the Synology DSM software:

  -Open the multimedia server on the DSM (via the drop-down list at the top left).
  -Select DMA compatibility, then list of devices from this tab.

  -Declare S790 as a default

  The problem is that the S790 has two different addresses, one when it is used with a wifi connection and another when it is used with the ethernet connection! So the solution is to do the above for both mac addresses.

  Everything works as it should, and I can stream the NAS .mkv files.

• OTP-S1100 does not connect to internet video service.

  Friday night, I noticed that I couldn't connect to Amazon Instant Video.  I couldn't connect to other video services as well.  I checked the system settings and I saw that the connection to the server of commissioning was not.  I did some more research and tried to place the servers DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.  This change has enabled to connect successfully to the server configuration.  However, I still could not connect to the internet video service.  I would get either the message 'check' internet connection or would get not past the first stage of the three-stage login procedure.  I tried to reset the machine and initialize customizers.  Now all I'm left with is the option to refresh the internet video services which I can't because of the unit is not able to establish a connection.  I also tried to unplug the machine for about a half hour or more and then reconnect, and it did not help.  My firmware is updated also.  I even checked my router settings and enabled the respond to pings from the internet, because it seemed to help another user, but it did not help in my situation.  I have the Sony Essentials and Playstation Network accounts.  I can't connect to the PSN account because I can't access the 'account link' option on the BDP, and I can't try to separate fact and restoring links in the Essentials because account I did not either of his choice.  All other internet devices in my house are able to connect to the internet.  I can even not Amazon Instant Video on my PS3.  Any ideas?  Is there anything, I'm missing or haven't tried?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you!

  I discovered that the device worked fine when connected to the modem directly, so I moved the combo modem/router to the location of the drive and changed over my home network so that all devices could connect and work.  Things seem to be working at the moment and hope they stay like that great!
