  The issue began a couple of weeks. When I visit the Yahoo! News (news.yahoo.com) website, I get a nag screen to install an extension called the best of YAHOO. on Firefox. I don't want to install the extension, so I have to click Cancel to continue. The nag screen continues to pop whenever I try to navigate to another point of press.   I suggest you try these methods and check the status of the issue.

  Method 1:

  Rebuild the Media Centre.

  Your index requires virtually no maintenance. However, if the index looking for files that you know problems must be in a location indexed; You may have to re-create the index. This can take a long time to complete, so avoid this step unless you have given the index enough time (several hours) to correct the problems first. To rebuild the index:

  1. open indexing and search by clicking the Start button Options, click on the Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Indexing Options.

  2. click on Advanced Options, click the index settings tab and then click on rebuild.

  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  Method 2:

  Enable and disable the Media Center to enable Windows features turn on or off.

  I tried to figure out how to turn off the incredibly annoying Nag screen that says "new features have concluded" whenever I open a PDF document. I searched on Google and Forums - no sensible answer.

  I also tried the home menu and preferences, that doesn't fix it.

  Once the FeatureLockDown under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\ key and then right-click on it and click on New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.

  Kumar apearently always supposed that I was getting an error or was trying to install... but I entered my serial No. as said and problem disappeared for a little time and a few days after that, I get a message from the interesting trial after a system restart when I opened the first:

  I received permission to share what I found out about a solution with CS6 screen of the trial which is also known under the name a license not taking or do not remember the license information.

  Regardless of the result, please give me your comments I results are inconclusive at this stage to be an Adobe technical support policy and documentation.

  What happened:

  It is my position that the root cause of the problem for me and most of the others is caused due to the corruption of files in the installation process when these conditions are met:

  1. The PC has enabled hibernation
  2. A hard drive and HD controller condition exists which is not 100% compatible with the hibernation process.
  3. You install a new product from adobe, and before the end, sometimes in the installation process... some or all the hibernation process occurs.
  4. If #3 happens at the wrong time one or more zones that are part of the process of validation of license are not correctly written on the hard drive, thus creating a problem of validation of license on starting the program (when the cache files are supposed to be deleted). This can occur after the first reboot of the system after first confirming your license or a few complete reboots or hibernation.

  The Western Digital drives hard specific simultaneously caused corruption of files on Vista Windows system as an example of this. When a file is damaged, according to the way in which it can present one or more times in the same place. It may or may not be disposable makes bad both in a sense uber read-only. I have a Seagate st31000524AS connected to a Chipset Intel 7 series/C216 family SATA AHCI Controller. Let me know what yours is, and maybe we can get the list.

  Your question is unclear, but I implemented a similar feature in one of the applications. Instead of buttons, we had Boolean questions asking the user on the nag screen which it wanted to change the attributes all.

  Based on the choice of the user (yes/no) we have redirected the stream to the respective screens using a decision boxes in a flow of custom screen we have defined (in the file inrerview/screen).

  I think you can get the same functionality in your application using a screen Flow approach instead of letting the rules decide which screens to show through.

  Believe me, there is a way to turn it off.  I wouldn't call myself an expert with Adobe, but I did a lot of work with it installs.  So, I have become acustom to the madness that is Adobe.

  www.AppDeploy.com is a great site to find a way to customize an installation.  There notes and installs various tricks, including Adobe Reader 9.  This is the key that needs to be changed to disable this feature.

  The nag screen to get update's coming two everyday when I click on "ask me later". This is not 'later' in my book, it's going to take longer than two words for my av provider update their plug-ins, I bet.

  OK, I know in the grand scheme of things, it is not a big problem but the ffs, same Adobe can get their head round, offering you a choice of way well before you want to be harassed again. And they used to be really demanding!

• Windows 7 product key blocked - not genuine notice

  My T420 is 3 years old and all of a sudden yesterday I received the notice and black screen saying "this copy of Windows is not genuine". And nag screens on it about every half hour (and annoyingly at startup).

  I tried several fixes online, including the re - enter the product key. When I do this I get the error 0XC004F063. There is no place to contact Microsoft for a replacement key, it says to contact Lenovo.

  I talked to Lenovo support this morning and told me I might need to reinstall Windows, and they were mailing - me to restore disks. He checked and said with this error code that I had to call Microsoft.

  I called MS and we checked the product key... it's blocked. I gave her my product ID and which is also blocked. He said to come back to Lenovo.

  Lenovo doesn't know anything about. Or what to do about it. The woman was told she had someone call this morning with something similar, if it was Windows 8. She checked and several other people support had similar appeals this morning. She also said that I would probably have to reinstall Windows. I asked if she would have never had this before and she said no. I asked if she knew other people having these calls before and she didn't say that she didn't know. I asked that if it seemed suspicious that all of a sudden some people had this problem. It seems that Lenovo blocked a series of product keys. It was covered on if she was really out of hand and said the Commissioner knew it and they would look inside. When I asked if they would contact me if they found anything, she said that this does not work like that. They you me sending restore disks and I am for the reminder Friday to see if someone knows something.

  In the meantime, here is my log Genuine Ms. It seems correct to my untrained eye... does anyone have any ideas or know of others, especially in the last 24 hours?

  This mark as RESOLVED. I had sorted it. Person (including me) realized that the Belarc gives key product is a generic Lenovo and that the absence of a tile is because it is under the battery. I just didn't know and neither Lenovo two supported people!

  If it's legitimate, the key should work.  If the PC on which you try to install had OEM Windows 7 (same version that you have installed the new), it must be able to be activated without buying a new key.  But either way is OK.

  The PC comes with Windows 7 OEM installed should have a COA sticker on it somewhere to manage such reactivation as described in the post.

• Changed group policy settings but now Windows is to appear this message to restart again!
