Outgoing Lisences

If we bought lisences of port 5 for outgoing messages, can we use 10 of IVR port for outgoing via IVR?

In short, no....

If you have 10 licenses IVR ports and you have 5 licenses of the outbound ports then you can use your 10 ports, IVR, coming out, but the system will allow only 5 "outgoing" port to use simultaneously.

(you will not be able to get 10-port IVR coming out at the same time as there are has only 5 outgoing ports under license)

  • where to change the outgoing server

Just put a ssl on my outgoing server and need to update the settings for the outgoing server. It seems that this function within thunderbird is incomplete. After some googling I was able to get to a place where I could drop to the bottom of all the servers, I entered, but the option to modify one of the existing servers wasn't in the drop down menu.

Account of the actions dropdown also lacks an option to edit an existing account.

If I click on manage identities I can find my user and click on 'Edit', however it brings me to the same choice window drop-down menu for which account I want to choose. It's funny because I pressed a button to change the settings of the account but never I was given a chance to change anything.

So where should we do to change the outbound servers thunderbid?

    Open the account settings.
Outgoing/SMTP Server is at the bottom of the left pane where all accounts are included. There is a button to edit an existing SMTP server.
It is hard to Miss once you have the account of the Actions of the menu drop down.
There is no option in the Actions drop account to edit an existing account. You can make changes directly in the window account settings for any server incoming which are listed there.

  • How to determine the outgoing (SMTP) server settings?

    ErrorMessage:

The message could not be sent to the help of Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.uniq.edu.ht for an unknown reason. Check that your outgoing (SMTP) server settings are correct and try again...

How to do this? The parameters are defined automatically. Maybe Thunderbird should check its database of the email provider.

It would appear that the outgoing serer must be
Outgoing mail server: (SSL) box810.bluehost.com (server requires authentication) port 465

THEN right-click on the account in the list and select settings
Open the entry in the list of accounts for the outgoing (SMTP) Server
Select your outbound service, and then click on edit.
Update of the parameters specified by your provider.

  • How can I change the outgoing in El Capitan mail port settings?

My internet service provider recently changed the messaging port coming out (IMAP). How do I change this setting? I can receive messages but not send it. I can send email from the provider's Web site. It's already happened and usually I can send emails for several days. I changed the port settings in the past, but did not figure how to do it since the upgrade to El Capitan.

If you know where to put the port, but it is not enabled, uncheck the box marked automatically detect and manage settings. Then, you should be able to change the port.

The outgoing port will be in the SMTP settings. Each account has a configuration which you can access by selecting Edit from the context menu of SMTP.

  • After upgrade to 38.3 cannot send outgoing messages

I made a mistake and accidentally updated to Thunderbird 38.3 on my MacBook El Captain running. Now, when I try to send emails from Thunderbird, I get a could not connect to the server leaving a message of unknown reason. All the outgoing server settings are correct, evidenced by our it staff of the University. Is exactly the same thing on my PC before and no help from anyone was never able to remedy. I can open, connect and download messages very well. I just ache to send messages and the connection to the outgoing server. It started with TB worm. 38.2 on my PC and now 38.3 on my Mac. Very irritating. Had to switch to Outlook as my email on my PC client and now will have to find a new client for my Mac. Older versions of Thunderbird always worked fine. I do not know what so new and improved who have them do that with our company Exchange system, but we all must abandon Thunderbird now. Does anyone else have this problem? Any thoughts on how to fix? I posted this problem before, but none of the suggestions have been on this problem or helped.

  • Password restricted to 16 characters when sending messages via the mail server outgoing Live/Outlook

When you use a plus 16-character password, Thunderbird fails to connect to the SMTP outgoing/outlook live.

The problem persists after you turn off my AV, turn off my VPN, from Thunderbird in safe mode and even after the addition of a '1' at the end of my password 16ch.

Interestingly, Microsoft has the following warning when changing your password:
WARNING: passwords longer than 16 characters cannot be used with the Xbox 360

    See the attached screenshots.

It is a limitation imposed my mail server, not Thunderbird. It is not just the Xbox it's all e-mail clients. The major problem is, Microsoft either don't use folk with general IT experience, preferring the Microsoft professionals who really don't know anything else or deliberately do everything except web mail as difficult as possible. They want you in Microsoft walled garden.

I'm starting to see four Internets. Apple, Microsoft, Google one, then the open internet, the champions of Mozilla, unfortunately none of the other three Internet really want interoperability. They like vendor lock-in...

  • How to change a picture in an outgoing e-mail message?

I am trying to enlarge a picture in an outgoing email, but I don't know where the image is to get the URL address?
If it helps, this is my picture from facebook?

If you use a Web-based e-mail account via your browser and by joining pictures to messages sent from an account, there is nothing you can do in your browser to change when it is attached. You must change the image before you attach it to your message.

Download photo as Imgur sites provide tools to resize and image editing, if you want to use your browser - just download, modify and use the link provided. On Facebook you can simply rotate pictures.

Since you are under Windows, I would recommend install the dot NET paint for editing like resizing images easily. It is simple to use compared to more advanced software. In this case, you will need to download the image to your computer, then open it up in the editor.

If you need to know the address/link/URL to a picture on Facebook:

    1. Open the image display in Facebook with a left click of the photo.
    2. Right-click on the image (do not click on the interface rather watch) in Firefox.
    3. On the shortcut menu, click copy the location of the image .
    4. Click on the text field where you want to paste/write the address in.
    5. Press Ctrl + V to paste the link. You can also right click on the text field and select Paste.

You can save pictures from Facebook to your computer for editing and download services as Imgur or attachments to emails from webmail. The option to do so is in one of the menus that you open when you hover your mouse over the image (they fade on the lower edge of the image).

    Edit: cleaning of text.

  • Incoming vs outgoing missed call

Is there a way to tell incoming vs missing calls in the recent list of outgoing calls?

There is no such thing as a "missed call". Given that you have put out the call, you do not miss the call.

All outgoing calls have a small grey icon on the left of a handset with an arrow pointing away from him.

  • Can I create a message for my outgoing messages filter?

I'm working on a big project with many people. I created a mail filter to send all my incoming emails project in a designated folder. Thanks to all who can help. (Including telling me 'no'!)

I also use an add-on to FiltaQuilla that gives me more than several ways to filter.

  • I can't record a new outgoing on my iPhone 6 s

I just got my iPhone 6 s. I tried to do a new outgoing voicemail message, but when I tap on Default or Custom, folder, nothing happens... Please help! Thank you

    Hello stevenfromcalifornia!

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support and congratulations for your new 6 iPhone!  Define custom voice greeting is a great way to make yourself your new phone, and I'd be happy to help in any way I can.

You mentioned tapping Custom > record and said that nothing happens.  "Is the folder bar moving from left to right after you type" ""Record "?  Your message can be up to 1 to 2 minutes in length, so the red bar moves very slowly.  Once you have finished your greeting message speaking, you can press "stop"button on the right, then 'Play' on the left to listen to it.  If you like the welcome message you have saved, then tap 'save' at the top right.  If the word "Record" is gray instead of blue, or you see a check mark next to "Custom" when you tap, please let us know, so we can focus on this news with you.

You can find the manual for your new iPhone at this link: iPhone user Guide voicemail-specific information is located in the section 'Phone', under 'Visual Voicemail '.

Also, make sure that your phone software is up-to-date, including its carrier settings.  These documents will help you to check:

Update the software on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch iOS

    iOS: update your carrier settings

Given that voice mail is managed by your cell carrier, your carrier settings could have an impact on your ability to use and change your voice mail options.
