Outlook Express put in place problems with AT & T U-verse

I have IE8 and use Outlook Express.  Try to configure Outlook Express as my Mail Server in AT & T 'U-verse Pro' internet service.  The settings provided by U-verse in Outlook Express accounts and Options do not work (I'm guessing that some of the problem lies in our ports specified by AT & T for the sending and receiving).  Tried all kinds of variations of the parameters proposed in several forums.  I can only receive email, but not send with the current settings; find settings to send e-mail but then could not receive.  AT & T printed literature, personal sales and the 1st layer Support using Outlook Express say is possible, even if the company is recommended to use their Web mail.  I'm about to give up, so please help with a solution.

I notice that when I use the Internet Connection Wizard in Outlook Express, the fields specifying that the I.D. of mail server incoming (POP3) is found in the column where I expect to find an account name in the e-mails received.  Current settings, my list of downloaded emails shows "inbound.att.net" in the column account where I expect to see "Paul Mail".

FYI: Internet Explorer has nothing to do with access to accounts via Outlook Express POP3.

    You may have a damaged identity especially if it's the default main identity. File | Identities | Add the new identity. Create a new one and try it. If all goes well, you can import your messages and address book from the old identity and delete it.

    Note: Do not use the main word in the name of the new identity.

    2. Tools | Accounts | This email account | Properties | Servers tab. Is unchecked connection using secure password authentication and my server requires authentication checked?

    ·          Did you the latest changes on the computer?

    The error you cite indicates that the server has the problem with your credentials, or possibly your account on the server.  It is a directed plu problem speaking with the personal support of messaging (ISP) service provider.  The credentials you entered in Outlook Express are incorrect or the e-mail server has detected a configuration issue with your mailbox.

    Is this Windows Search indexing dong? Whatever it is, you want to exclude OE.

    N ° OE does not work on any XP system and has been in production since June 2006. You choose your e-mail with Win7 client because it does not include a default program.

    You must save the .csv (contacts file) of the Yahoo address book file, and then import the file into Outlook Express.
     
    If you are looking for the recorded .csv file, use the search function and check if you can find the file.

    I have trouble getting my new 6835 HP to work with our windows 8.1 machine.  Set up the printer by installing disc and at the end (after that the printer is supposed to be set up), she wants to send me to a web address that gives me just an error message on the computer screen.

    The printer appears on my printers Control Panel menu but it tells me that "driver is not available.  I get an error message when I try to print from this computer.

    I see that you have trouble to install your HP Officejet 6835 on Windows 8.1. I'm happy to help with this installation problem!

    I recommend the following solutions:

    1. Uninstall the software. Uninstalling the printer software.
    2. Clean boot the computer. How to perform a boot in Windows.
    3. Disable all antivirus programs. How to disable the Antivirus in Windows 8?
    4. Disable all firewall programs. Disable the firewall on the computer desktop of Windows or Windows 8 8.1.
    5. Reinstall using the printer HP install wizard for Windows.

  • Outlook express hangs after the connection with the mail server

    OE6 hangs after the connection with the mail server?

    Make sure that the other machine is not check that the server so often a machine is not problems because it cannot be verified.

    Try to delete the account, compact the folders and close OE and reopen it and add the account back again.  Also make sure that the antivirus software is not interfere (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3).

    You can also telnet to the server directly from this computer to see if it works (see http://techhelp.santovec.us/pop3telnet.htm).

    Sometimes it gets stuck in a message on the server and it can not get downloaded by OE, so it may be necessary to remove the message from the server, but if the other machine got, maybe it's not the question.
