P E 9, computer turns off during export
I was able to export 1 little clip, but tried to create a
series of clips in a movie and when I try to export to
the computer for playback of the file, or burn it to DVD, sometimes at 7%, then the computer shuts down. There should be enough memory on my computer, 2g available. Any ideas?
Thank you
I would like to keep this option after you have explored the BSOD issue more in depth. Uninstalling/reinstalling corrected some issues, but I don't see what either in a facility of "smurf" (technical term computer...), which would give a BSOD. Those who are generally related to hardware problems or conflict of driver with the operating system and usually outside the video editing program.
Some of the links and the terms of these articles ARE of a technical nature, so don't hesitate not to ask, if you don't understand anything. We will do our best to break it down.
The main article is not very technical, but the "degree of difficulty" goes upward, as we work through all of the links. I tried to keep things this way, so that the 'easy parties' come first, and if one of them can help the person, they never reach the hardest parts. However, if you have any questions, someone here can walk you through them. Here, we are lucky that Steve Grisetti is not only a bestselling author and expert pre, but it is a great technical writer too.
Yes, keep the option uninstall/reinstall, but I think that something is going on - however, I got wrong before.
Good luck

My computer turns off during an update to windows xp and now windows xp will not load.
My computer turns off during an update to windows xp and now windows xp will not load. It gives me the option of last known good configuration and safe mode startup and normal startup, but it just goes back to the loading screen then flashes a blue error screen then back to display boot options. I don't have a recovery disc as the laptop does not have a CD-ROM drive or a floppy drive. I have the product key, but I don't know where or how repair the operating system.
Contact the manufacturer of your laptop as there must be a way to restore the computer. There may be a hidden restore partition.

2-3 days after the expiry of my warranty of one year, my computer turns off suddenly during use. I rebooted, but it stopped again.
The model is that the computer runs for 15-30 minutes, then suddenly stops, the system reboots, runs for 2-3 minutes, stops, restarts, spans less than a minute, stops, restarts, stop after a few seconds, etc., and at that time there I give until the next day when I repeat the same cycle all over. I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit and it is a model of Dell Inspiron 518. There is no error message but a beep at startup upward. I ran Windows repair program 'Start' who did a restore without success. The problem occurs even in Safe Mode.
Does anyone have a guess as to what is the diagnosis? Thank you.

How and when the computer turns off automatically?
Listen to internet radio, Sys Pref > saving energy on the default setting, wake up and radio program cut.
This is great... .buth how and when the computer turns off? When I reopen it wifi comes back, I'm correct when she stops she also turns off wifi?
Hello allan299,
Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.
According to your post, I see that you have any questions on how and when your computer shuts down, and how the WiFi on your Mac is affected. I know it's nice to be able to properly manage what happens when your computer stops and starts in mode 'sleep'. I'm happy to help you find the best resolution.
You're right, when your computer stops completely it will turn the Wi - Fi. If you enable the wake for network access, Wi - Fi remains lit, and you can access shared resources on your computer, such as printers or iTunes shared playlists even when your computer is in "sleep". Definition of a calendar closing and start on your Mac can also be useful.
Check out the following resources that will help the set options that control the energy use of your computer, sleep, and wake-up times for your Mac and the calendar from your Mac to turn on or turn off or go to sleep:
OS X Yosemite: energy saver Preferences
OS X Yosemite: set sleep and wake up on time for your Mac
OS X Yosemite: A schedule for your Mac to turn on or turn off or go to sleep
Best regards.

Satellite L350 - display turns off during startup
My screen laptop L350 itself turns off during startup after posting normally for about 2 seconds. It is possible to get the display back to normal if you go to sleep and then wake, but the new screen only stays on for about 2 seconds. This makes it almost impossible running the diagnostics.
Does anyone have an idea what might happen?
Hello
Have you tried an external monitor?
Perhaps the internal display is affected and needs to be replaced

MY MacBook Pro is frozen and I had to turn off get out of the frozen page and when I pressed the button to turn it on it makes the departure noise and then the progress bar lights. When it becomes a little to Midway, the screen goes black and the computer turns off.
The progress bar that starts from the left end appears when your startup disk is too damaged to mount. The illustrious progress is the functioning of the equivalent of disk utility (ERD). He is never more than half before taking a decision.
If your drive CAN be mounted, start-up continues normally.
If your drive cannot be mounted, your Mac stops, because there is nothing productive that it can do.
If your Mac is trying to start and crashes, which can produce always different results, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.
I recommend that you start in recovery and run utility disk (ERD) until it comes clean or is hopelessly.

I have a Compaq PC with processor Dual-Core AMD Athlon X 2 5000, and it runs Windows Vista Edition Home Premium... In my view, that is running Service Pack 2. I use the computer to check my e-mail, my YouTube and Facebook accounts (and possibly other accounts spread I connect to).
I usually use Internet Explore to browse the web. Sometimes my computer turns off by itself due to overheating. But whenever when this happens, when I turn my computer back on and return to the use of the Internet, I've totally frustrated to find that all my accounts were automatically disconnected!
Even when I check these boxes to keep me connected to these accounts when I turn on the computer again after a successful stop, my accounts still get disconnected!
It only seems to happen when my computer turns off by itself without stopping... mainly due to overheating. When I turn on the computer again after a successful regular stop, my accounts are automatically saved on once again, due to activate me "Keep me connected" by checking these little boxes. But after a situation when the computer is off all the time (either by himself for a reason, either by me with strength to turn it off when my computer crashes), my accounts do not remain.
How can I prevent my accounts automatically be disconnected so that whenever I start the computer, after it turns off by itself, my internet accounts turned on? There must be a patch for this embarrassing situation here on the internet.
Perhaps because an improper shutdown / forced can inpact on different parameters.
Your must not PC in all cases be having heat problems, you need to fix this (heat) before it turns into something terminal

After upgrade Office 2007 to Office 2010 on my Vista, then my computer turns off after being idle for a while. When I turn on my computer, I get the splash screen indicating that Windows has finished unexpectedly and I would like to start in safe mode or normally (pluss a couple more choice...).
Appears not to occur if there is activity going on--as if do me some work or have itunes playing music or I'm just surfing the internet. Curiously, it seems not to happen if I close Internet Explorer and Outlook.
I shot all automatic updates for Windows Vista (32 bit) and Microsoft Office.

B Odd Andersen
Hi B Odd Andersen,
I want to clarify if your computer seems to be sleeping or it completely closed after being idle for a while.
Method 1: If the computer is in power saving mode, check if you can wake the computer from this State by moving the mouse or pressing any key on the keyboard.
Method 2: Change the power to another and check to see if the problem persists
Change, create, or delete a power plan (scheme)Method 3: check the logs in event viewer for more information on auto-off down
What are the information in event logs? (Event Viewer)
Note: For your safety and security, it is not recommended to disable Windows Update.
Activate the update or disable automaticThanks and greetings
