P2035: re: print letterhead on P2035

I have a user tries to print on white paper, but for some reason, the bleeding from the letterhead on the rest of the body of the document. A document in the same way weighted with the same header but parchment in color, print very well.

Anyone this experience and can give advice?

Thank you.

The header must be intended to be used in a laser printer, a few letter head is only designed to be used in an ink jet printer.

It is also important to select the correct paper type so that the machine will work at the appropriate temperature fuser.

The printer works fine in manual duplex mode with a blank sheet of paper, but will print on each side, if we try to use paper with a preprinted letterhead.  It's almost as if there is some kind of OCR that prevents printing on a page with pre-printed letterhead.  Any ideas?

There are a couple of sensors that could be confused by the letter header.  First of all, there is a paper sensor that detects the paper being well picked up and fed through the printer. Some colors of printing on paper can confuse this sensor.  The other possibility is the sensor used for the selection of the paper type automatic is confusing to the system.  In this case you can try to automatically select plain paper rather than the selection of paper.

  • P3015 PARAMETER OF BINS

I'm trying to print on letterhead.  Tray 2 is used for letterhead, the settings on the printer refer to paper size as A4 and the document type reference to header, however, when you tap on print, a message appears on the printer to say ' load letterhead or print in the next bar (which is our regular paper).  For some reason any printer not acknowledge the letterhead in this sandbox.   I changed the settings to any size and any type, even if nothing prints under this setting. I also tried to change the settings of plain A4 but the same message appears asking plain paper loaded.

Run a config page and see what he says in the book of size and type of the printer think is in the status bar as on this model, to tell him the size and type.  Now, when you go to print and the driver and settings on the game of the printer and you still get a message, please post a picture of exactly what you see on the control panel.  Another way to solve this problem is to make another copy of the printer under devices and printer and call the P3015 printer letterhead.  Now go to preference and change tray to automatically select for tray 2.  Set the type of all that must be the type that you defined in the printer and it should work.  Keep in mind 2 plateau is the tray cassette directly below the fold down tray manual at the front which is Tray 1.  Sometimes, people get confused and assume Tray 1 is the top drawer of the tape and tray 2 is the bottom drawer of tape.  This is not the case.

  • P2035 prints non-stop

I have a P2035 connected locally to a workstation from Dell running Win7 x 86 and every now and then when a job is sent to it it starts printing and does not stop until I unplug it or it is out of paper. My usual dose is to uninstall and his driver, then reinstall. That works fine for maybe a week, and then it starts again. Also, it only prints on the top of the page and printing consists of legitimate words that would have the document but also sparsed symbols throughout the text. I tried a hard reset, a new cable, older drivers, latest drivers, disable bidirectional, support what I could find on several boards of Directors, but the problem still persists. Any ideas?

He did indeed turn out to be a driver problem. I uninstalled the driver specific to this printer and installed the universal pcl5 driver and now it seems to work.

  • HP LaserJet P2035: HP LaserJet P2035 not print color

Printer stop suddenly printing in color:

    (1) check cartridges - they are good

    (2) checked the settings - they are good

    (3) as 'Printer properties'--> 'General'--> 'Features', the color is set to 'NO '.  This is not a modifiable setting.

Rose troubleshooting and found goes into "Device Configuration" and change the "Installation Options".  My interface is NOT "Installation Options".

Please notify.  Any help is very appreciated.

Hello, you are sure to have the correct model number? The HP P2035 is a black and white printer, so it does not print in color.

But, if you have a color printer and it is only printing in black and white, then I would say replace the pcl driver 5. I've seen similar with color printers problems while people were using the pcl driver 6.

    Hello Prabha,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

    1. Do you have an error message when it is not detected? If YES, what is the exact and complete error message that you receive?

I understand that the USB device is not detected by your computer. The question may arise if the currently loaded USB driver has become unstable or damaged or if your PC requires an update for problems that could conflict with a device USB and Windows. This can also occur if your USB controllers may have become unstable or corrupt. So, I would suggest trying the following steps and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

Please try the fixit (s) provided below which will help you solve common problems associated with devices and USB ports.

If method 1 does not work, try Method 2.

    Method 2:

Remove and reinstall all USB controllers.

    1. Open Manager devices by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click system and security, and then, under System, clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    2. In the list of the categories of equipment, locate and expand Bus USB controllers.
    3. Right-click every device under the Bus USB controllers node and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.
    4. Restart the computer and let the USB controllers get reinstalled.
    5. Plug in the removable USB device and test to make sure that the problem is solved.

If the problem persists, go to method 3.

    Method 3:

Disable USB selective suspend framework. This method prevents your power off USB device.

    1. Click the Start button, type power management in the search box, and then click choose a power plan.
    2. Next to your currently selected plan, click Change Plan settings.
    3. Click change advanced power settings.
    4. Click in the box USBsettings, and then expand the USB selective suspend settings.
    5. Click on the area, and then click the menu drop down and select disabled.
    6. If you use a laptop, click the cell, and then click the menu drop down and select disabled.
    7. Click apply, and then click OK.

If your problem still exists, go to method 4.

    Method 4:

This method will install the latest drivers from device to your USB device.

    1. Click the Start button, type Windows Update in the search box, and then click Windows Update in the results pane.
    2. Click find updates. When the scan finished, click optional review updates.
    3. Click the check box next to the update, and then click install updates.
    4. If you are prompted, read the license agreement, then click I agree.
    5. Follow the instructions on the screen to download and install updates.
    6. If you are prompted, restart your computer.

More information: Update a hardware driver that is not working properly

If the device fails after updating the driver, you can try to roll back the driver with its previous version.

Restore a driver with its previous version

Hope this information is useful. If the problem still persists, please post back for further assistance, we will be happy to help you.

    Kind regards

  • P2035: Symbol defined on P2035 PCL

After changing Win Vistax32 to win 10 x 64, I find that I'm an unknown symbol when the PCL commands sending my P2035 (new).  When sending order fonts PCL: Romans 8/CG Times, I get:

    1. #+ 0 # 2-) / #-+ "/ instead of"now is the time"."  I have tried many other combinations, but still get the game of strange symbols.  Other PCL commands, that is to say, tray selection, pitch, spacing, etc. work well. Any suggestions?

    > >... With this info, I decided to use the dBase "?" abcde' arial STYLE, 12 "for the selection of fonts and PCL for this that works, that is to say, source selection of the status bar, etc...".

You now have a kind of workaround / resolution.

    > >... Use the Windows print dialog box, but the "Print to file" check box does not work...

I have no idea why this should be.

    > >... the problem is not with the printer or PCL 5 driver, but rather with the environment of 10 x 64/dBase Win...

If my diagnosis was good (I'm sure 99% at least) the problem is that:

    • The printer driver is assuming, or be told, that the default font is not present in the printer.
    • If it downloads a soft font, that is "hidden" and he expects to scramble text based data.
    • Then, you try to inject some PCL escape sequences to select a printer-resident font - but you do not cancel the "interference" of the following data (the only way to do this would be by the DBase? command).

The only thing I'm not sure about is the reason why the printer driver is set the police initial default of a fresh downloaded font, rather than one of those present in the standard printer; I don't know if it is a kind of default of the pilot, or DBase system is to select the default font?

  • CE461A: Unit of HP P2035 USB not recognized

We bought about 10 P2035 printer and now 3 of them are unusable due to a problem suddenly the "USB device not recognized' longer in the pop-up Windows.

It is certainly a problem with the printer, since the printers affected products the same message, regardless of the workstation are must be connected to.

3 all them were part of the 10 which worked very well, but it seems now one by one are going to be worthless.

I searched for known issues with the HP printer, but he came to the top with almost anything.

    Online search produces nothing.

I tried all the suggestions when searching for "USB device not recognized", but who has not solved anything.

  • HP laserjet p2035

Bought a hp LaserJet P2035.  Each document I attempt to print, prints... constantly.  It does not stop.  It prints multiple copies until I have cancel printing.  No, I have not made more than 1 copy screen printing.  Hp Expert, please, tell me how to fix this.

    @Dreamie1

Thank you for your message on the forums of hp.com. I don't know how you have this connected printer or what OS you print from, but I would like that check you and see if the bidirectional support power off will stop her continue printing.

Right click on devices and printers

    Click on printer properties

At the bottom of the general tab, disable bidirectional support.

See if this could solve your printing problem.

  • LaserJet P2035: Problems with a LaserJet P2035

I have two HP LaserJet P2035 and both will send jobs not from the paper tray.  They two fine prints from the manual feed tray 1.  When I close the manual feed tray 1 and try to use the paper in the paper tray, the paper light keeps blinking and will not clear. I have performed the update of the firmware on the two units that made no difference.  I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.  Thank you!!

Thank you freginold.   I found the culprit.  I have slightly bent a metal cross bar support located under the paper tray upward toward the printer.  This bar triggers the lifting of the paper tray mechanism to lift the paper in place and of course, there was no contact. This solves the problem.
