    Hello

My laptop is the Satellite A350-13 b with ATI Mobility Radeon HD3650.

    I found that I have OpenGL 1.1 (7/7) and partially 1.2 (1/8).

I installed the latest drivers from ATI, modded with Mobility Modder site (also tried drivers from the Toshiba website - no results).

I found that the modded drivers require OpenGL patch to make it work.

    Must be added:

    HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\OpenGLDrivers\ati2dvag
    "Version" = "2" REG_DWORD %
    'DriverVersion' = '1' REG_DWORD %
    'Flags' = '1' REG_DWORD %
    "Dll"="atioglxx.dll" REG_SZ %

But after he OpenGL Extensions Viewer see values (1.1 and 1.2).

How is it possible to check the highest available version OpenGl and operate?

  • Satellite A210 - 11 p and Radeon 2600HD replacement

    Hello world

I "did a search on this topic but don't find any results, so why shaped not only ask you my question friendly people.

I just bought the laptop Satellite A210 - 11 p and I'm very happy with it, but one thing I'm unsure of is the graphics card.

I have the Radeon 2600HD and his performance is very good, but I heard somewhere that it is a dedicated and non-integrated gpu.
Would it mean that in the future I could replace the 2600 with something better or I'm stuck with it forever?

    http://I25.Tinypic.com/w6t8bb.jpg

    Thanks in advance.

    .

Please don t mix the laptop and desktop PC technology.
Laptops cannot be upgraded as desktop computers.

All you can do is upgrade the memory and the HARD drive.
The replacement of the graphics card is not possible.

The GPU is soldered and fixed on the map and you can not delete it!

  • U3014 monitors and Radeon HD 8570 will not display 2560 x 1600

Monitors and video cards say they take in charge of 2560 x 1600. But there is no other choice for this resolution in the catalyst control center or the display settings. Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit
Graphics card: Radeon HD 8570 (should support 2560 x 1600 on two screens).

    Fix.

If my memory is good, the screen only comes with a dual link DVI and a miniDisplayPort to DisplayPort cable, but you can use the miniDisplayport on display and displayport on your GFX card connector and try again.

If not, could you recommend something similar that works please

In addition, fool of friendly advice on how to set up would be much appreciated

    Thank you

    Hello

Looking at the specifications of your PC there a 300W Power Supply Unit.  The Radeon 5850 would not be appropriate because it requires a minimum 500W PSU.

The map below is a good choice for a PC with a 300W power supply and would require no further changes - just replace your existing card in the PCI Express x 16 slot.

  • Update driver for Satellite U400D and Radeon HD3200

Current driver ATI - version 10

Good question, but I don't know which should give you response to this.
It's just for user forum so here, you won't find some official statements.

There is big difference between drivers offered by the manufacturers of graphics cards and drivers Toshiba.
Toshiba uses change drivers and Toshiba, or any other cell phone manufacturers support page, you will never find the latest version of the driver.

  • 6200 pro sff: 6200 pro sff and Radeon HD5450 works and I have to change the jumpers

got myself a 6200 hp pro sff and have upgraded to win 10 and want to add pci card hdmi thought it would be a simplendrop in and go but not any quick tips to make work that I have to put a few riders in here

    Hello:

A HD 5450 should have works great.

The HD 6450 was the graphics card optionally available on the 6200 Pro SFF.

There are no jumpers or BIOS settings to change.

The card should have been automatically picked up by the BIOS, and it should have disabled the onboard video.

What happens when you turn on the PC?

It works and you don't have a video?

If so, all you need to do is to remove the card, re - turning on the PC, uninstall the Intel HD graphics card and driver, turn off the PC and install the new video card.

To uninstall the graphics card, go to Device Manager, click to expand the category of device adapter screen, right-click on the Intel HD graphics card, select uninstall and check the box uninstall driver.

If this does not resolve the issue, most likely the card you purchased has a problem.

Return it and get a HD 6450 low profile card.

I just installed the Sony Vegas Pro 11 program of video editing... it came with NewBlue titration Pro - a program 3D text/title.

To use the program of NewBlue, I need to upgrade my GPU of my ATI Radeon HD 4200 to:

"Requires a compatible OpenCL GPU and catalyst driver 11.7 or later version with a Radeon HD 57xx or higher GPU."

Before I have to buy a new graphics card, I need to know that you will compete with my system and what is above the 57xx should I buy... don't want to spend more than $200.

I read all the other articles on the HP site on how to do, just go shopping for the right one. I don't do any game... especially the video editing.

    Thank you very much.

    Hello

The most important requirement is that the vga must be a PCIe x 16 a. You can buy anywhere you want, like on ebay, amazon, newegg, etc...

    See some suggestions here: http://videoguys.com/Guide/E/Videoguys+System+recommendations+for+Video+Editing/0x4aebb06ba071d2b6a2cd784ce243a6c6.aspx

This card should be ok: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Asus-ATI-Radeon-HD6850-1GB-DDR5-2DVI-HDMI-DisplayPort-PCI-Express-Video-Card-/170721183891?pt=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&hash=item27bfc68893

It is up to $200. Some of the Radeon HD 6870 are under $ 200 also...

  • Dell and HD 5770 display port

Maybe it's more a mug just about shot. I just bought two P2415q of dell monitors. They display only video via HDMI or a DP HDMI adapter. The only way I ever had video off the report of DP was once when I hot swapped the RFP while the HD5770 was still connected to DVI. Dell didn't write Mac drivers for this monitor only Windows. I'll probably just to return them.

Actually there is no such thing as drivers of the Mac monitor. The Mac "detects" the features of the monitor/screen/projector/TV via a signal down the cable called EDID. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extended_Display_Identification_Data

Assuming that the computer - in this case a Mac monitor both and have a field then the Mac will choose a setting based on the monitor.

In this case, you have a new 4K resolution Dell monitor and you try to use it with an old long abandoned video card. It is also important to know that the version of Mac OS X you are using on your Mac also has a great involvement on which will support the Mac. You don't say exactly what version of Mac OS X that you use, but your signature implies you use El Capitan 10.11.4 which of course is the most recent and current version. (Which is good news). Apple does on several versions have improve the support of 4K in their operating system, it necessarily would not help however if your video card is the problem.

Now, I think I know the Dell P2415Q as I pointed above is a 4K monitor, I also know that he uses a Displayport interface, and I also know he uses a standard for 4K called OSH (Transport of single stream) and does not use the old standard 4K of TMS (Multi Transport Stream). The main difference is that with STD is more like two monitors 2 K-by-side and therefore two signals are sent down the cable, then merged by the monitor.

This is important because while the SST is the newer and better version and according to MacVidCards AMD made video as a Radeon HD 7950 and Radeon HD 7970 cards work best with older MST than they do with SAFETY. Your video card is also a design of AMD, although another much older.

It seems that you have two problems at the moment-

    1. AMD cards apparently peuvent have problems with views of OSH, it's only according to MacVidCards I did not report it to someone else and MacVidCards peuvent be exaggerating in order to beat the company extra selling their cards Nvidia
    2. More importantly, your card is so old that it is not officially supported on 4K at all according to AMD, see http://www.amd.com/en-us/products/graphics/desktop/5000/5770

I found another article to a Mac user, which suggests they could get 4K working with a HD 5770 but only at 24 fps or 30 FPS and not at 50 or 60 frames per second. This Dell monitor may be keen to use 60 fps.

I know of other reports here in these forums that many people have been able to use the Dell P2415Q with the Mac recent Macs with better video cards integrated, or an old classic Mac like yours but using a more recent version, best video card.

So, I would say that want to consider buying a newer video card. See http://www.macvidcards.com/

  • IdeaPad y560 radeon 5730 black screen, older version of the driver needed

    Hi all

I got an ideapad y560 0646 with i7 and radeon 5730 without switchable graphics. After startup, the windows logo appears and then only a black screen. no windows logon. It is possible to start with the standard vga drivers. im running windows 7 prof 64 bit. I remember that I installed windows 7 32 bit in November 2011 teacher and after installing graphics drivers from the homepage of lenovo, I faced the same problem. so I just kept using windows 7 64 bit. I think that there is a windows update that has caused the problems for windows 7 64 bit. I installed the latest drivers, but it did not work. I think that it is not hardware issue because ubuntu works well. I would try the old drivers that came with the y560 on cd. Unfortunately, I can't find the cd.

Some have old driver cd and can download the drivers or name the file of the driver so I can download it from the web?

no need to do so. the black screen issue is resolved. and the blue screen issue 0101 when you connect the ac charger cable, too. I had to adjust the power settings in windows. mininmal performance is set to 100 per cent for execution with the cable. If you set it to 5% as a battery-operated, is not breaking. Maybe this could be one solution to others to have the black screen after the windows logo.

    Here's what to do:

start in safe mode and adjust your power settings to run with the AC adapter / CC. define the minimum performance of 5%

Please let me know if it works

IM using HP Pavilion dv6-6150et notebook PC, windows 7.i update Mobile Intel(r) HD Graphics automatically from Device Manager, then renamed Intel(r) HD Graphics 3000 and when I restart I noticed Radeon (TM) HD 6770 M has a triangle yellow on him and when I open properties it says "windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. After that I updated Radeon 6770 M Intel(r) HD Graphics 3000 becomes Mobile Intel(r) HD Graphics back. And I couldn't open system and mozilla properties (it's not a big deal, but it indicates there is a problem that I can not know yet). And I have former New Mobile Intel(r) HD Graphics and it become Intel(r) HD Graphics 3000 and Radeon 6770 M stop work again.i read many forums but I'm so desperate now.

And now I see that I can't open some of my games when I try blue color change are turning to red etc.

    Hello

As you have graphics ATI/Intel switchable, bothdrivers is provided by just the AMD software installer so try to use Recovery Manager to reinstall your graphics software AMD - the procedure to use the Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document at the link below.

    Recovery Manager - Windows 7

    After reinstalling, restart the laptop.

  • 15 - j104ax: How can I know HDMI maximum resolution? (ENVY 15-j104ax with the Radeon HD 8750 M)

    I use this laptop, the ENVY 15-j104ax with AMD APU A10 - 5750M and Radeon HD 8650 G + HD 8750 M Dual Graphics.

My laptop has HDMI port, and I want to know the maximum resolution of HDMI from my laptop.

I would buy screen QHD (2560 x 1440 or 2560 x 1600), but I don't know if this HDMI supports this high resolution.

The following link is AMD graphic sheet on my chart.

    http://www.AMD.com/en-us/products/graphics/notebook/8700m-8800m#

If please see the 8700 M features section and search for "HD 8750 M Series GPUS".

Interface memory is 2 GB memory DDR3 (graphics memory)

And one that he is a specification, complete more dedicated. Please look at page 11

    http://www.AMD.com/documents/AMD-Radeon-HD-8000M-series-GPU-specs.PDF

My chart based on GPU - Z, is connected with PCIe 2.0x8.

And, when you look at the full features, it says that my graphic supports HDMI with 4K (maximum resolution: 4096 x 2160).

I know that my graphics chip support this resolution, but I don't know port HDMI supports.

Anyone know how I can see max resolution of the HDMI?

or is there someone who has used the same laptop as mine and more Full-HD monitor? (As 2 K, 4 K, 2560 x 1440, etc.)

    Thank you.
