• DV6-6190us AMD update package fails. Necessary for recommended MS hotfix

  I get a blue screen of death after installing the recommended MS hotfix KB2670838 and using Internet EXPLORER 9. I stopped the problem by uninstalling the patch. Others on the MS for a report of similar problems with computers laptops HP and AMD switchable graphics card. MS advises prevention hot - fix for the moment and is apparently change an option until the issue is resolved.

  One user said that he solved the problem by upgrading the AMD drivers to the latest version. I tried that with the HP sp55092.exe install package on the download page of my dv6. Installation fails with the helpful message "Application install: install package failed! The progress screen said it was installing the MS Visual C++ 2010 redistributable runtime. MsiInstaller gives error event 1013 with the text "product: Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable - 10.0.30319 64 x ‑‑ A later version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable - 10.0.30319 64 x is already installed."

  Installed versions (x 86 & x 64) running on my computer are 10.0.3.40219.  It seems that the package installer on HP support site cannot handle a newer version of the execution. I presume that the reason for the new version on my computer is software that relies on the SP1 version, so downgraded to the old version would just move the problem even if it gets the driver AMD installed package.

  Anyone else seeing this? HP updates the installation package? Any ideas?

  I shot the most recent version of the C++ 2010 runtime that blocked the Softpaq installation, installation fact and re-updated C++ 2010 runtime to the current version. The Softpaq, Intel and AMD drivers updated to the latest versions (on the site of HP). Then I reinstalled the MS fix and were broadcast for 12 hours, with no more BSODs.Funny thing is that the Softpaq still gave me an error on installation (relating to execution C++ 2010) but this time continued and completed.

  I didn't want to steam. I'll look further and maintain the ITI in mind for future updates. It seems that HP is almost through with the software/firmware for the DV6s.

  When you try to run a version of my device BB 10 via QNX Momentics, I get this error:

  I'm looking through my race setups, but I can't find anything wrong. I searched on this forum. the Momentics help section and the web, but can't find anything that explains how to fix the error.

  Found what was wrong. There was a newline character in the description field in the file descriptor bar * sigh *.

  Hi guys I started updating an older application now that I finally have my Z10 again. I opened the proyect of my old projects and intalled the new SDK.

  It opens and debugging-uploads it to the device without any problem, but trying to release the app it gives me this error.

  You must use that three version numbers the 4th is handled separately as a build number and is optional.

  Momentics would normally put a red cross indicating an error in the xml file if you try to add more than three?

  Try to reduce to three and see if it works.

  Are you following the Quick Start Guide?

  The first defect is really the block. I can't usefully working on the project until this is addressed. No difficulty in suggestions welcomed, TIA.

  Please follow the following to workaround [Applicable only for MAC]

  1. download and install Xcode last version 7 (we tried on beta xcode7.2)

  2. create a symbolic link or copy of Xcode way ld: /Applications/Xcode-beta.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bi n/ld to /lib/aot/bin/ld64/ld64

  I hope it solves the problem.

• Creative Cloud Packager fails with Error Oops something went badly wrong, please try again

  It is a Windows installation. Research on this error suggests a solution to remove the CCP directory under the local profile, but it did not work. Tried to run the tool on a number of machines as well behind the firewall/proxy and using an unsecured connection, but always fails. Very frustrating. We are a Department Gov and use a subscription to creative cloud teams. That's where I download the last PAC called CCPLauncher, although I also tried the version on the LWS site with same bad results. Any help much appreciated.

  I encounter an error trying to adt package for my project for iOS using AIR 16.0.0.259:

  I took a peek inside the sdk and could not find such a file, just a file local_nostrip.x 86-Simulator - air.txt.

  I had the same problem but I found if I copy the SDK to another location and all the symbolic links that disappears from the question of dereferencing.

• Debian native packaging fails for me

  Has anyone got the native packaging JFX2.2 to work on a Debian Linux system (Ubuntu, for example)? The step of packaging succeeds for me and it installs but when I run the resulting program (which the installer puts in/opt/myprog/myprog), I get

  jvm.dll is not found [/opt/myprog/runtime/jre/lib/amd64/client/libjvm.so]
  Failed to launch JVM

  which is a pretty weird error, given that .dll is a notion of Windows.
  
  I get the same error if I try to run just the image of 'stand-alone' which leave the conditioner in deploy/bundles/Myprog.

  Please see JIRA issue for possible workaround (try to manually create a symbolic link and report if it helps to make it work for you).

• Are others find AAMEE 3.0 install packages fails on Mac

  I am able to create packages of installation with AAMEE 3.0 without problem.  However, when I go to install the packages on machines (so far, through any automated process), I get a screen "installation failed."

  What you may see is that you have the box "ignore contradictory processes" unchecked. I had the same problem with packaged CS5 deployed with JAMF when users have Safari or another open application. Installation time I find vary considerably according to the material. Models SSD install obviously a lot faster than the platinum records. Sometimes also are way off. Most of my installs JAMF SS of CS6DP takes about 15 minutes.

  I solved this with the help of my colleague, as the update worked for her and not for me. The difference was the locale, its system is set to English, while mine is set to German. This parameter is transferred by the ssh connection to the server and iDRAC DUP does not work with the German locale:

• Creating a container of the package fails on the last stage by renaming the .exe in .dat

  I tried several times to create a package without success. All files seem to have downloaded when I look in C:\Users\MichaelK\AppData\Local\Adobe. There is data here 14.5Gig.

  How can I successfully create a container to the package.

  Have you tried to clear the cache of CCP and try again? Damaged in the cache files can cause errors when building your package.

  Go to the 'Welcome' on the menu drop-down menu > Preferences, then choose "click here to purge the cache folder.

• installation of creative cloud for the deployment of the teams package fails

  I inherited a Department that was using the trial versions of creative cloud and older versions of some CS6 apps so far. I bought and activated via the website admin CC for the teams. I downloaded and packed the app they need to use without errors. However, the first mac, that I tried to install it just quit with an error of unable to install, contact your administrator. I have did some research and came across the cloud to create adobe cleaner and followed the instructions... uninstall the current applications and run the vacuum cleaner. Error now says to contact the Publisher of the software. The first user is now dead in the water and does not all apps from adobe, trial or others to work on projects and deadlines looming. Any help would be appreciated.

  Hi, I managed to sign app PlayBook with success, but was not able to sign the iOS app. I downloaded correct .p12 for the provision of certificate and the distribution that I used in my xcode, input correct password, then I clicked the Finish button. I saw the message "packaging for Apple iOS. This may take several minutes,"but he just there hanging from the packaging: (0%)... Anyone facing the same problem? Or someone knows the solution?   On Mac OS X, it indicates that the certificate is not valid or something like that, I don't remember the exact words and get a warning window using the ADT command line. I will try this: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/867664?tstart=30 to see if the problem is in the way that I export the certificate towards .p12.

• DW006 Apple error package failed to install successfully

  I had problems to install Adobe Acrobat Pro XI with a subscription to creative cloud. Whenever I install it, it asks me to accept a license agreement, but the box and the menu drop-down are white, so I don't see what I'm supposed to accept. By clicking on I agree, is not good.

  I uninstalled and reinstalled several times, and this time I got an DW006 error code. I'm about to try again, but if anyone has any help to offer it would be appreciated.
