PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

Hello
When I went to put my PC Windows XP standby last night, I saw a message to shut down my PC in order to install a Microsoft Update, so I stop the PC.  This morning, when I tried to start my PC, I get a blue screen with white letters indicating:
"A problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer.  If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is installed correctly.  If this is a new installation, as the manufacturer of your hardware or software for the windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software.  Disable the BIOS memory options such as implementing caching or shading.  If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart computer hyour, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode.

Technical information:

STOP: 0 X 00000050 (0 X 80098004, 0 X 00000000, 0X00000001, 0 X 80515103)

I tried to make it start in safe mode and other modes, but I always find myself with the same blue screen saying the same thing as above.  Any ideas?

Thank you

    > Is there any sort of way the hard drive. And if I replace it how can I get the OS on it since I have no recovery disks.

You can use a common HARD SATA 2.5 disk. This type of HARD drive should work in L350.
It seems that you didn't create a disc of recovery in the past. Right?

Well, in this case, you will need to order a recovery disc reinstall system which has been pre-installed by Toshiba.

  • HP Mini 210-4000 blue screen of death PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA Error

I've been up and down the Forums here with no specific luck, unfortunately, so I'll ask even if this has been asked and solved in another part of the site that I may have missed.

I'm trying to untangle HP Mini Notebook a friend, model HP Mini 210-4125sa. The machine starts well enough until last week, when it was suddenly decided to blue screen.

The text of the error message displayed in the BSOD reads as follows:

    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

    TECHNICAL INFORMATION:

    STOP: 0 X 00000050 (0X87E40000, 0X00000000, 0X00000000, 0X92442B13)

I can't start after loading Windows 7 - the load bar screen makes two fifths upwards and that's all.

I had thought to try to recover the operating system, if possible, of what is apparently a recovery partition that is created on the hard drive (I have not worked with these machines before, unfortunately), but I can't figure out how to get to that partition before the typing error.

In addition, after trying to download a piece of software of HP USB recovery Flash Disk Utility, I realize it seems necessary to use it in fact of the computer laptop itself, that is not possible.
Having begun to run various tests on board in the menu of the BIOS, the hard drive Test failed just apparently (more specifically the hard drive part optimized DST test), with ID GGBXXV-66A75U-MFPX0J-61VV03 failure (I don't know if this information is useful but am nevertheless understood). HP unfortunately were not a lot of help as they wil only offers unique support technician call for forty pounds, or to take the laptop away for repair, which cost almost as much as the original of the material costs. Of course, I prefer to try and resolve this issue myself but have hit a bit of a wall at the present time. Any suggestion would be great at this point.

This test equipment for the hard drive is a gift died of a faulty element. A failed hard drive is a show-stopper.

Hard drive optimized DST part of the test), with ID GGBXXV-66A75U-MFPX0J-61VV03 failure (I don't know if this information is useful but am nevertheless understood) This is important information.

A corrupted NTFS (hard drive) volume can also generate the "error PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" stop message.

I used to have a BSOD, DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE, which fixed by updating my Nvidia driver. Now I keep having PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (nvlddmkm.sys). I don't know if it's the problem of the driver, but it's really annoying. My computer freezes at random about 2 - 5 times a day. While watching videos, playing games, surfing on the web and just being AFK. I studied the problem a lot and I have not found a solution for it.

    Hi LG33,

I do not think that you have owned this camera very long, so I'll assume that the graphics card is not defective. This is usually caused by a driver problem. I would say do a refresh on your system (no data loss) by following the steps listed here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-CA/windows-8/restore-refresh-reset-pc

Try it, if you still have questions after probably have a hardware problem.

    Ainjel Hello,

This occurs generally early in the boot process. For example, the problem may occur shortly after the splash screen appears, and you will see a black screen with a moving progress bar. Specifically, this problem occurs generally when the system tries to load the i8042prt.sys driver. The problem only occurs in certain hardware configurations.

You need the installation disk so that you can try to perform a system restore which is the WinRE recovery environment and then once you are able to start, you can try to install the fix below:

    Error message when you start a Windows Vista-based computer: "STOP: 0 x 00000050 PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA".

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/939720

Do a restore from WinRE system:

    Kind regards

  • Blue screen 0 x 00000050: "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA".

original title: blue screen: "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" on Vista

    Hello Microsoft answers site,

I recently acquired a blue screen message "STOP: 0 x 00000050 PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" on my Windows Vista home premium SP2.

I have all ready a startup repair and haven't had no effect.

There is a fix for this KB Article (s): 939720, seems that there is a great risk if something is wrong.

I was wondering, if I had to re - install SP2 and have a chance to solve this error. It would be worthwhile to re - install SP2 or it won't do a thing, and I should just go ahead and do the fix?

Any help would be fantastic! =]
