• Move the data from Palm Z22 for palm M125

  My Palm Z22 batteries do not hold a charge.  I recently bought a Palm M125, but have been unable to transfer data from the Z22, the M125.  My op system is Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit Edition processor.  Is it possible to move the data?

  If the Z22 still works, the best way to transfer your data is for her beam to the M125.  At least, for the PIM of Palm of basic data (e.g., calendar, Contacts, memos, to-(tasks)).   On the Z22 in calendar, switch to the display of the day (not the order of the day).  In the menu, select the category of beam, choose the date range and select all from the drop-down list category.  Make sure that receiving IR is selected in the receiving device.  Align them face to face on one foot out and tap the beam.

  In Contacts, select the category in the upper right, then open the Menu and select the category of beam.  Same process for tasks and memos.

  Data and third-party applications might not let u their beam.   In addition, you will a newer device a lot older with an older operating system that may not work new apps.  So, after you transfer your PIM data, try beaming your third-party apps at a time to see if they run again.  The Z22 Launcher screen (at home), open the Menu, and then select the beam.  Highlight apps one at a time and try to beam at the M125.  My guess is that apps like Documents To Go might not even run, if they let u beam, because they were written for the newer versions of Palm OS than what works the M125.

  There is also an upgrade process where you can do this thru Palm Desktop when you switch devices.   But again because once you go towards the back to an older device, there are some compatibility issues with the applications, databases and files of the system, not to mention the questions according to what version you use Palm Desktop.

  Let us know if ensoupler works, or if you encounter any problems, in this case, we can go to the ugrade process.  Also, let us know what version of Palm Desktop you will synchronize with.

  We don't have currently no WiFi in our home and I don't have a phone on my Treo 650.

  Which option is the fastest? Which is the slowest? In what order? What are the most easy/difficult options to configure?

  IN SUMMARY:

  (I have a treo 650)

  1 palm desktop 6.2 and quicktime installed on Windows Virtual PC: Windows XP mode in Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.  It worked well. Open the virtual XP mode (it's like a remote desktop window), then press "USB": fix the device at the top of the screen to each time after hitting the hotsync button. I was not able to find a file of commands saved in this mode structure, sort of backup with his computer backups is not feasible. You can also drag-and - drop from Windows 7 windows (for example to drag media since picasa, etc.). Also, this software is not available for Windows 7 family (must be Pro or better).

  2. Bluetooth (IOGEAR GBU421) adapter. Windows immediately recognized the adapter... I didn't install anything other than the Palm Desktop software. Had to tell the bluetooth computer let be detectable. Otherwise, it is a breeze to Setup. Really, really, really slow on the transfer of the media but not really noticeable on the normal synchronization.

  For now, I decided to go with the bluetooth method.

• Sync for old m125 with new Vista OS PC?

  Confused! Have m125 I can get to sync - it shows at least the title on the screen of the PC - but when I go to work with the titles of my hand that held that there is nothing else than to whites in the data files of the office.  I loaded the new 62 program to get the sync to work using the docking station USB for PC - tried to Bluetooth, but could not get the recognition. Any help is appreciated.

  I'm having trouble connecting my controller to the wireless receiver. I use XP, Service Pack 3, 32-bit. I read dozens of help sites for help, but none has my same circumstances.   Hello..  Welcome to the forums of Palm.   I just tried the link you could successfully download activesync for XP.  Try again, if it still does not work try to go to google and do a search for 'download activesync 4.5', which should give multipul for download options.  If this does not work then the problem is on your side and you will need to speak to a computer repair shop.

  Windows 8 works.  If you have installed all the drivers motherboard and chipset (direct card mother/chipset manufacturer - never depend on any embeddable application "for a driver location" mechanism or a third party) for Windows 8 (not ' for Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP or something else, maybe in compatibility mode)-then your choice is to visit the support forums of the manufacturer for the product that you are having problems with.

  I'm using the palm1 software and want the address book transfer.

  have hotsync manager running and I get a popup 'window hotsync', but none of the data from the Palm1 software (downloaded from the website of palm) is transferred.  Yes, the power plug and the USB is plugged.

• Do I need a driver for Windows Vista Games?

  I have a Palm Zire 31 to hand (remote about 2 years).  Last week, I bought a HP Pavilion with system of Windows Vista 64-bit OS.  Yesterday, I bought a couple of games to download on my Zire 31, but have not had much luck comes from the new computer on the terminal.  Can I first of all updated for Windows Vista drivers?  (I still have the old XP Dell in the children's room, if all else fails!)  The games seem to download OK, but I'm having difficulty getting them to hot-sync on the Zire 31.  I forget something really obvious?  What I am doing wrong?  Shouldn't this download in the normal operation of the hot-sync?  Can you help me avoid a few gray hairs, more with an easy solution?  Thank you for teaching an old dog a few new tricks!

  Palm does not sync for the 64 bit OS support. There is a bluetooth autour work, but as the zire 31 is not bluetooth it is a mote.
